On the one paw, she'd been feeling particularly sluggish this morning, and as such, Meera wasn't very motivated to get up from her spot under the shady tree she'd found the night before.
On the other paw, she wanted to make good time to her destination. She knew the maze was close by, and she wanted to try venturing into it again. Yes, again. Her first foray into the maze had turned her around, but she'd met the handsome Cyrus in the process, who showed her the way out. She'd gone on her merry way, ready to find another pride to mingle with....
And then she'd made the discovery of a lifetime. Something she hadn't known was possible for her, given how most hybrids were, well....
So now Meera was trying to make her way back, to let Cyrus know and to maybe get some help.

If there was one thing that would motivate her to get up (which admittedly didn't take too much on most days) it was the prospect of meeting someone new. That said, it still took her a minute of rolling about in the grass and humming happily under the shade, before she finally took a look around and noticed the very red figure sitting on a rock nearby.
That woke her up. Meera perked up in place, ears shooting up excitedly, and she rolled over. "Good morning!" He hadn't done anything to her that entire time she was lying there, so she was fairly confident that he wouldn't be hostile towards her. Which was just fine for her, since it wasn't often she ran into other rogues. Most tried to avoid each other, for fear of getting into a fight.
The cheeton grinned, hefting herself up into a sitting position. Luckily, she wasn't overly showing yet, and as such, she could still move about decently well. A few more months though, and this journey back to the Skiringssal would be difficult.
