[PRP]Show me an Adventure(Kiri, C'ryn and Aresoth)

Being newly graduated and placed into a wing gave C'ryn and Aresoth a bit more freedoms then they had before. One of those was the ability, on their rest days, to between to Western Weyr. Well really it was the ability to between anywhere they wanted on Pern but Western had a purpose for C'ryn going and visiting.

The first was to visit with his half-brother Huarwar. After Henwas' death the two had reformed their strained relationship and gotten closer then they ever had been. It was nice to just sit down and wander around with Huarwar for some of the day, try and talk him into coming to High Reaches in the candidate swap. Just being able to be himself with his brother was...nice.

Of course the other reason was a friend. After having met at a firelizards hatching, where he had bonded a bronze that had stolen food from her, C'ryn and Kiri had maintained a writing correspondence. They had only been able to see one another when she made her way to visit High Reaches after he had impressed to Aresoth.

Currently he stood on the sands of the beach not too far from Western Weyr, cliff faces were a bit behind them. Aresoth was coiled on the sand, eyes watching the water as it lapped at the shore while C'ryn stretched his left arm out across his chest. When they had arrived at this spot he had removed his jacket and draped it over a rock. "Do you know if the cliff face behind us is climbable?" He had climbed a lot of the places he could get to near High Reaches Weyr ever since he was young so there was an interest in what could be climbed here. Though he wasn't opposed to swimming in the ocean either.

It was a beautiful day at Western Weyr. The ocean lapped invitingly at the shore, the sun had warmed the beach sands, and there wasn't a cloud in sight. Better yet, it was a rest day for the Candidate, and today she got to spend some of the time with her friend, C'ryn. Though they were from two different parts of the world, somehow, they had managed to maintain an amicable correspondence with one another; a correspondence that was easier to maintain now that he had the freedom to go anywhere on Pern, and that she had a little bronze firelizard all her own!

Felidae was now well full grown and less troublesome than his sire. Usually. While he had a habit of stealing food, he had learned that begging usually got him what he wanted, and instead spent much of his time snuffling around for some sort of tasty treat. Today, though, he was happily perched upon his person, and though he'd send rainbows at Aresoth or C'ryn on occasion, he well knew that there had to be some sort of treats on this excursion. He just hadn't figured out who had them.

"I think it is," Kiri finally answered, turning away from the waters to look at the hills behind them. "I've seen a few folks scale it. The hills and cliffsides here aren't nearly as challenging as those in High Reaches, but there are some pretty views. Why, want to go up?" She asked with a challenging, feral grin. While the water was inviting, she also knew it wasn't going anywhere, and it might be doubly nice after a hike or climb. Anything to stretch out her limbs.

Kiri felt a bit stuck as a Candidate, and tended to take gross advantage of her days off by climbing, hiking, swimming, and exploring the areas around Western Weyr. While she didn't yet regret accepting her Search, she did yearn for a companion; she truly believed she would have well be bonded to a feline already had Thread not returned and set her on a new path.
