	Mako was coming down from her emotional whirlwind, the high she had been feeling for the past week had started to rapidly decline and she had found herself left with a broken heart. She had been fooled, or at least... she felt she had been. She had made a promise to wait for someone but they never showed, they never came back. Mako didn't want to be alone, not right now at least... so she set off to where he brother was living, he was her closest family member after all. She... she needed to be with someone she trusted. She needed to be with her own blood, someone who wouldn't just abandon her. Her golden eyes set still as she sighed deeply. it would be good to see her brother again. Mako needed to start over. This awful week wouldn't control her future, she wouldn't allow it.

	Pandorus Sphinx Yuli was newly a reaver yet he had not gone on a viking trip since he'd earned his right to be a reaver. Instead of a viking trip he had accompanied Zerrin to the border of the pride to meet his sister. There had been a bird who had homed in with the message for Zerrin so now the regal lion and his blue companion found them selves on the border. "So ... your sister... " Yuli yawned, "Do you know what shes like? How long has it been since you last saw her?" He was trying to act interested and not come off as bored with this whole ordeal as he actually was. "Do you really care Yuli?" Zerrin cocked a brow at the younger lion.His mane was fully in but he was still very much immature. It could have been because of his 'father' Bast'ion but it could also be this environment. "Not really," At least Yuli was honest. "Do you even remember what she looks like? I bet its been moons since you last saw her." "Shut up Yuli. My sister is very dear to my heart. I wouldn't forget any of my family," Zerrin had helped raised many of Bast'ions offspring and was now a little sterner than he once was when it came to children. The two padded on til they got to the border proper. Yuli took a seat but Zerrin stayed on all fours and looked alert. He scanned the horizon for any red he could spot until he finally laid eyes on her. "Mako!" He called out and started padding after. Yuli stretched out and sluggishly followed after seemingly annoyed to be there.

	Mako's eyes drifted for a moment before the sound of her brother's voice called her back to shore. She felt her heart skip in her throat as she turned to face him, it had been years yet somehow she would always know his voice, no matter the time spent apart. Quickly she moved to face him before running toward him, smiling softly as she her body nuzzled against his. He was as beautiful as ever, a golden lion with a brilliant bright white mane. They hardly looked related when they stood side by side, but they would blood. Blood mattered. "Brother!" She exclaimed with a soft sigh, nuzzling into him for a moment before her gaze met the dark male who had followed him. "Who's this?" Her question was firm, her golden eyes danced along Yuli's figure as she searched him over once.

	Pandorus Sphinx A sense of purpose and a sense of home were two things that Zerrin hadn't felt in a long time but it was a jolt of electricity the moment his sister nuzzled in to him and he could feel how he longed to feel anything for quite a long time like he was now. Zerrin resisted the urge to prolong this nuzzle and instead took a step back so he could just see his sister. The two really did not look related in the least but Zerrin knew that their hearts knew better than to trust outer appearance. Yuli took a step forward before Zerrin had a chance to answer his sisters question and gave the female the skeeziest up and down a male could to a female. "She's your younger sister right Zerrin? " In one breath he was able to both compliment Mako while give Zerrin a put down. Yuli was a punk a** of a lion after all. Zerrin wasn't exactly sure what he'd expected from Yuli so he sighed. "Apologies Mako. This is Yuli... I hope you excuse his rudeness as he was not raised in the same environment we were..." The stormborn had a way to have lions with terrible manners.When abduction and pillaging from the weak were smiled upon it was understandable that the temperment of some would be on the immature side. Zerrin had grown up in the swamps with his sister where the two were raised a bit better. Zerrin had grown up in to a king though it be briefly lived.

	"Interesting." Mako spoke with a soft frown, looking the darker male over again. She wasn't sure why he had tagged along on this family affair, but she wouldn't complain. He seemed alright so far. Her eyes shifted back to her golden sibling as she spoke once more, this time with a half-smile. "Thanks for taking me in." She felt a little embarrassed, having to relocate to be with her sibling to escape her emotional hardship. Mako wasn't ready to admit she had been intimate with someone who bailed on her the day after. She felt ashamed. "Yuli, are you my brother's permanent shadow, or is this a new thing?" A smirk crossed her maw. She was teasing a little to lighten the mood.

	Pandorus Sphinx "Of course I'd take you in. There is no need to thank me for doing a siblings duty," Zerrin was shining in a way he hadn't in over a year. He'd gotten his family back and it was really something that the golden lion hadn't realized was missing from his life. "Oh Yuli is -" "I'm not his shadow," The blue lion made a face at the red lioness. "I'm a reaver and he's a freeborn. He needed me to accompany him to get this far out of our border to come and fetch you. If anything I'm more important than he is." There was a sour puss face resting on those young features of Yuli. Zerrin simply sighed. "Yuli is my escort. I helped raise him and unfortunately his father had a greater influence than I'd had liked."

	Mako's frown grew as the blue male spoke, her ears twitching. He was a little rude. Her eyes narrowed as she ignored her sibling's words, tiling her head as she spoke out, her tone a lot more firm. "Important? You don't look very important." Again she teased, pushing his buttons the best way she knew how. It was harmless. Maybe getting down on his level made her feel less sorry for herself. "Sorry, brother." She chuckled and nodded. "Still, I am very thankful." Mako meant it, without him she would be helpless. Maybe this new start was just what the red lioness needed.

	Pandorus Sphinx Mako did a fine job of rattling Yulis cage as he , like his father might do, took the bait hook line and stinker. "OH! I AM VERY IMPORTANT! ZERRIN DIDN'T EVEN COMPLETE A VIKING RAID BUT I DID!" Yuli was complaining on the top of his lungs which gave him a very childish sound. "Tell her Zerrin.." He was whining. "Ummm." Zerrin looked to Mak and Yuli, "So there is a tradition in the pride that when a cub is of age they go on their first raid and .. well Yuli did it. I'm not interested in such behavior..." The golden lion frowned but Yuli looked pleased that everything was sorted now. "Thats right I completed it. And if you want any of my respect you won't b*h out like a puss and take the easy family route in but fight me." Yuli stood in a stance that was quite fierce. His man hood had been questioned and for a young overly eager viking that was the recipe to make an a out of ones self. "Yuli dear gods.. please stop."

	Mako's smirk only seemed to grow. He wasn't aware of the Firekin blood that ran through the siblings veins, or the fact that they had a Goddess for a grandmother. This only made her feel like she needed to prod at him more. He had no idea what she was capable of. "b***h out? Excuse me? I am just coming to join my brother, but if you need a pound of flesh, let me remove it from you." Her golden eyes narrowed on him as she moved between the males, pushing her brother behind her as she did this, her claws extending slowly. Mako faced Yuli now, full force. "You want a fight? Let's do it. Let's see what kind of man you really are." Sometimes she couldn't help herself, and right now he had annoyed her to the point of snapping. Her week was already all messed up, what did she care if he wanted to take her on in a one of on duel? She would make him sorry for messing up her family reunion.

	Pandorus Sphinx Zerrin shook his head, "Could you both maybe .. not .." But his voice was drowned out by Yuli's excitement. "OH YEAH I WANNA FIGHT!" He gnashed his teeth in as threatening a manner as one could. He kicked up a little bit of dust with his front paw in the excitement eager to rip in to this female and show her how tough of a viking he was. This was nothing more than youth and arrogance on the males part and Zerrin was standing over to the side quite mortified by the whole ordeal. None of this was supposed to happen but of course Yuli had to prove his man hood to anything that would listen or breath. "This is stupid... I'll be heading back to the border if you'd like to join me Mako." Zerrin turned his back on the two fire hearted lions and set off towards the border. "The border ! PERFECT! We'll fight there," Yuli started to follow. This had not been what Zerrin had in mind when he said he'd go to the border. Whether Zerrin liked it or not there was now a challenge to be met.
