He didn't technically start his job until a few more days, but he still needed to get used to the campus. What a bother... He scratch the back of his head, looking around at the silent area. It was actually pretty nice, no one was around to bug him or anything. Maybe he could take a nap here? He pursed his lips, yeah that was an appealing thought. Maybe he would take a nap here. There was a ceremony that was supposed to be taking place right now, but it wasn't like Kaden needed to be there. He wasn't exactly a teacher or a student so he could ditch right? Oh yeah, he was totally ditching. Tony would probably be there, and Kaden would rather not bump into the guy... He sigh, his eyes landing on the locket around his neck. It didn't shine as bright anymore, but it was still something he could never let go. He took a deep breath, calming himself before his mind wondered down the wrong set of thoughts. Shaking his head, he strolled over to a more secluded corner of the pathway and found a nicely covered area he could hide in. It was surrounded by bushes, and a few trees that would hide his form well. He dipped down and laid down on his back as he yawned again. Ugh, why couldn't he just sleep in today? Of course the nightmares had a big part in waking him up this morning. He curled into a ball, closing his eyes. Oh Arceus please let him get some sleep, he just wanted to be lazy in peace! It had hurt, knowing his friend might've dissapeared and that all the while Ash though they were getting closer Nick apparently didn't think they were close enough or even important enough to let him know he was leaving. With a heavy sigh the librarian walked a bit behind his pokemon, frowning when he noticed Clara hover above an actual person. "hello" he said catching up to his pokemon "are you new here? Sorry about Clara, I guess she thought you needed company" In his arms and sporting his ESP yellow vest Equis waved at the stranger. While the Pyroar trotted up behind him. "My name is Aislin, I'm the librarian." he said by way of introduction.

There was supposed to be a ceremony, but Kaden would rather not participate. It wasn't like he was a teacher, why should he even bother? There was nothing there he could fix, so it wasn't like he was avoiding his job either. Besides he didn't want to bump into Tony, they guy still rubbed him the wrong way. He didn't take orders from anyone, especially not from that guy. So here he was, lazing around just like he wanted to do. What he didn't expect as the sudden greeting behind him. He shivered, groaning a bit as he reluctantly open his eyes to see another person standing next to him. He noticed that he was practically surrounded by the man and his pokemon, what was he their next meal? He yawned, before looking upwards at the man who started asking him all these questions. He tilted his head lazily to the side "are you trying to make me your next meal? Your pack is surrounding me man" he said jokingly. He stretched a bit, before running a hand lazily through his hair "librarian huh? probably a bookworm... bet you can sleep away all day huh? That's the real dream right there" he said lazily. He rolled onto his back, hands behind his head as he got comfortable. His own pokemon, Yuki and Novel poked their own heads up from Kaden's side. They too were lazing around, yawning a bit before looking a bit more alert. They studied the other pokemon, before leaning closer into Kaden's sides protectively before they grew comfortable again. They still had their guard up though. Kaden lazily waved at the man "Kaden, just your lazy neighborhood repairman... hiding from the ceremony because I certainly do not have the energy for that... besides not like i'm a teacher or anything so..." he said, mumbling the last part. He lazily moved his eyes toward the other mans "you here to ditch too? Plenty of room to laze around here if you want" he said, shrugging. Aislin laughed-the first laugh since he had found out about Nick-- when the other man mentioned his 'pack' surrounding him. "Mon ami, Clara hardly eats people" he said pointing up at his togekiss who hoevered in flight above them. "And Lana's too lazy to really eat anyone" he added chuckling a bit when his Pyroar grumbled defensively...while lying down. He tilted his head in thought when he was asked if being a librarian meant being a bookworm. Ash supposed he Could be one, in that he loved to read but he also liked dancing and soccer and had been considered a jock for most of his high school years. "I suppose I have to be" he said sitting down next to the man. "I'm stuck inside the library for most of the day, not much to do but read when I'm not putting books away" He had found his job at a private school to be much more mild than that of the average librarian. There weren't programs to coordinate or events to put up or tutors to contact. Mostly he just put books away in the morning, assisted students who came in, and put books away before closing. It had led to him really enjoying his time outside. "Its nice to meet you" he said when the man -Kaden- introduced himself. His heart squeezing oddly when he figured this was Nick's replacement. ( so he really was gone huh. Okay then) "Also I'd like to add..your pokemon certainly look like they want to make Me a meal" he said with a smile pointing at the very protective creatures. Maybe sitting down next to Kaden hadn't been the best idea. "I usually walk Clara around here in the mornings" he said by way of answer when Kaden asked if he was here to ditch too, pointing up at the togekiss who had taken to the air again. Equis remained on his arms, as an emotional support pokemon it was his job to be around Aislin all the time. "though I'll gladly keep a newbie like you company" Asilin's eyes were open and playful despite the slight smirk that accompanied his words. "You know if you're looking to play hooky, this is the worst place to not get caught" he pointed out looking around at how in the open they both were.

He quickly tossed the thought aside, most likely just Kaden over thinking it. At least the guy had laughed... that was a good sign right? Kaden stared at the floating pokemon "they sure hover around like a hunter eyeing it's prey..." he muttered jokingly. His eyes then moved over to the Pyroar who was now lying down "hey they might be lying down now, but they could just be biding their time... not like I can say anything, I'm just as lazy though..." he added. Kaden started plucking the grass as Aislin stated he would have to be, and Kaden raised a brow as he elaborated. He stated that being stuck in the library for most of the day meant that all he could do was read when he wasn't putting books away. Kaden snickered "I'm sure there's a LOT of other things you could do in the library, hell not many people go in now a days... do you know what that means? You could get away with anything" he said suggestively. He gave him a lazy smile as he stated it was nice to meet him, "you say that now, but will you still think that when I come sneak into the library to hide from my responsibilities?" he questioned. Tony would probably be trying to find him... especially since he's deciding to skip, maybe he'd hide there? Uh... what a bother. Kaden snorted at the comment that his pokemon looked at Aislin like a meal "You mean Yuki and Novel here? You could probably bribe them to let you go, bloody traitors" he joked, earning him a kick from Yuki. He laughed, waving his hand lazily around "It's true! It's totally true! Someone bribed them with puffins just to keep them quiet as they tried to rob me of my lunch!" he exclaimed throwing his hands up in the air. Again Yuki kicked him, Novel huffing in complaint. Kaden rolled his eyes "So what if it was one time? You still let it happen, traitors the lot of you I say!" he joked more. Yuki and Novel groaned annoyed, and Kaden huffed "never trusting you to guard my lunch again!" he added. Kaden didn't mind Aislin sitting next to him, as long as he wasn't preaching at him to stop being lazy. Aisllin stated that he walked his pokemon around here every morning and that he as glad to keep a newbie like him company. Kaden snickered "why thank you for humbling this newbie with your presence senpai" he joked with sparkling eyes. He groaned, moving an arm over his eyes when he stated that this was probably the worst place to play hooky at because he'd be caught. Kaden sighed "I've been here literally for a few days and I'm too lazy to map out the entire school, where else was I supposed to go?! It's not fair you got a head start because you've been here longer than me, come on man share your secret nap spots with me I'm begging you! How else am I going to laze around in peace?" He whined. "Togekiss are more likely to hug you to death than anything" Aislin said laughing again when Kaden said Clara looked like a hunter in wait. The bliss pokemon looked about as dangerous as a plushie. "I'm sure Lana feels in good company" he said when Kaden said that he was just as lazy as his pyroar "I got her as a graduation present from my family in Kalos" he said "she's a breeder's pokemon as pampered as can get, I don't think she knows How to hunt" The pyroar in question gave a rumble of protest but didn't move from the place where she was spread out. "Oh you know you're nothing but a Chat Botte" he said to the feline pokemon. He raised his eyebrows in amusement when Kaden said his pokemon cold be bribed by food. "Well I'll keep that in mind, I happen to be an excellent chef" he said with a grin. The smile stayed on his face as Kaden stated that he could get away with Anything as the librarian. "You know that's what I told the last janitor..and the breeding teacher. They weren't really up to anything fun. Shame no?" When Kaden asked if he'd still think it was nice to meet him if he snuck into the library to avoid responsabilities. "Pero mon ami. That's what libraries are for!" A mischivieous glint caught Aislin's eye when Kaden called him sempai and whined about not knowing all the good places to hide. On a whim, he grabbed the other man's hand and pulled him up. "When then stick with me newbie, and keep up" he said dragging him away, motioning for the pokemon to follow. -exit to TBA-
