There were somethings that were better to see in person. Zyanya was never one to back away from a challenge and wanted to see for herself what the big deal about this lake was. She heard from traveling rogues to turn away, that it was too dangerous. It only made her more determined to see what it was. As if a lake could scare her.

When she got to the area, there were already groups gathered around. Right now everyone was a good distance from the crater. She realized that it was wise to group up, that if something were to happen it would be nice to have someone to have your back. Her eyes darted from group to group, trying to decide if she should go introduce herself or if she should just be brave and venture toward the lake by herself.

Miaoth had been in the area when the tremors had happened. To say they had scared her would be an understatement. The leopardess had spent the last couple of days going back and forth on whether or not she was going to get out there and see what had happened. Finally she made the her decision and decided to go out and see what had happened.

She had made it to the edge of the newly formed 'lake'. Though to be honest the monochromatic female wasn't really sure you could call this a lake. She was a little surprised by the number of others who had congregated around this new landmark. Miaoth wasn't sure she could call whatever it was a lake, or even a body of water. The smell from it was nothing like she had smelled before such a strong pungent smell. She wrinkled her nose trying to breath less.

Zyanya noticed someone else by themselves. After giving her a once over, Zyanya decided she was worth talking to. She walked over to the leopardess. “Have you ever seen anything like it?” Zyanya asked the stranger. The lake, or whatever it was, was like nothing she had ever seen before. It was something that she knew she would talk about to anyone she came across in her travels.

She looked back toward the lake and felt something come over her. Was it fear? She wondered as she frowned. Water had never scared her before, it was strange for it to start up now. Still, the young leopardess took another step back.

Embarrassed, she looked over at the leopardess and gave her a weak smile. “I'm not sure what got over me.” The place was giving her the creeps. But she still stayed despite every instinct telling her to run far away from this place.

4-6. You could swear you heard someone you once knew whisper in your ear, but you can't make out what they're saying! That's...not creepy at all.
