((Ubuge will have given birth to her cubs in the rogue lands she will have picked a place abundant in food, water and minions. It can be assumed that there are slaves of Ubuge around them often they will be brought food and water and anything else they desire. All of these slaves ‘belong’ to Ubuge, she does not treat them well and most of them will be in some state of not quite alive as she basically runs her slaves in to the ground until they are dead. This RP will take place just as any gods in the haven have been punted out. They will see the IC things happening and they cannot go to the haven however as they were already in the rogue lands they will not have been punted out.))

Unusual things were happening. Ubuge felt the change, the shift in the world as she knew it but it didn’t really affect her much. The sky was reacting strangely, there had been some rains and a few little tremors, but these things again, didn’t really change her life. Something big was happening she was fairly sure but she had different things to be concerned about.

Well, concern wasn’t really the word, she was absorbed in her good work. She and Neltharion had produced something amazing. She had informed him of her pregnancy early on, before she had really shown any weight gain, of course, with her ample size she hadn’t shown in her previous pregnancies. This time around though she had shown, her abdomen had swollen beyond what she was used to and with the help of her mate, oh how she loved that word, HER MATE, she had piled on the weight needed to bring forth their spawn.

She had given birth in a small oasis, a copse of acacia trees that ringed a large elderly baobab, a natural wateringhole bubbled near by fed by some underground spring that provided ample water for all concerned, though their presence had most certainly cleared out the natural residents. the Baobabs roots had lifted long ago forming a natural burrow in which she had set up shop. This was her hallowed ground and her minions came to her as willingly as they always had. They had fed her and her tiny brood until they had opened their eyes and now they continued to come and go fetching what she needed so she need not move from her comfortable hollow.

Her previous litters had been small, three and one and though she had fetched forth some powerful, useful domains, they had been somewhat disappointing. She had not been disappointed this time, well, she had been mildly disappointed but mostly she was simply elated. She and Neltharion had fetched forth a litter of six. Six glorious little creatures who all belonged to her. She was very proud of herself and though the world around her seemed to be having a hiccup, she lay comfortably in the shade of a great old baobab tree, surrounded by furs and feathers and things while her brood played amongst themselves.

She paused in her rumination as one of her slaves approached. The creature would not last that much longer. The hollow look in its eyes the feeling of one close to death. It was a shame to lose something useful but it would make a good throw rug when it was done with its mortal coil. She accepted the donation from the creature, a simple lump of fresh meat and waved her paw to dismiss the beast. It was in the way, she wanted to watch her little fur balls. HER little fur balls.

“Come and eat darlings mama has some food for you.” She rumbled, happy in her own little oasis.

——

The only male in the litter and he stuck out amongst his siblings like a sore thumb. His bright pink coat was in stark contrast to the black, white and beige, more natural colouring, of his siblings. He used his colour pallet his advantage. He could easily be seen by his mother and when he spoke, as the only male voice in a hoarde of females, he could be found. He liked it when his mother looked at him. His domain was very, strange to him, he knew what he was and he also knew that his sister, discrimination, was the closest to his own. He didn’t really understand it though, he was learning but something about gaining the approval of many, leading them against others, he felt a deep pull and gaining his mothers approval felt like something that needed to be done.

His siblings were so varied though sometimes he felt like they all melded together a gaggle of females all vying for the same attention he wanted. He could use his colour to his advantage. When the massive dark goddess called he was the first to move, if he was quick he could beat his siblings to the meat and get some alone time with his voluptuous mother in the same heart beat.

He raced for the shade of the baobab, hoping to pip his five sisters to the post.

Di yi wasn't in a rush; she'd never been in a rush as she was often quiet and contemplative. It wasn't that she didn't have the capacity to state her opinion, it was simply that she recognised it wasn't yet needed. In many respects she was neutral and probably one of the easiest to tend to, but she suspected this would come as a great disappointment to her mother who...well, Ubuge certainly seemed to have high expectations for them.

What was clear though, was that the young cub had slowly but surely become accustomed to what her 'domain' was, the powers she would lord over in time, and by extension... It might very well put her at odds with her mother. After all, Ubuge didn't like to throw things away, that just didn't work for the lioness who gathered everything to her, so a creature like Di Yi was destined to infuriate her at some point.

Quite frankly, Di Yi was surprised that she hadn't yet infuriated her mother simply by existing! Waste was an insult to all she stood for after all.

Right?

Nevertheless it was this quiet contemplation that had led Di Yi to observe her mother's slaves and conclude that ironically, the loss of a life was a waste. An inanimate object was significantly less useful than one that could look pretty and provide a service too. Unsurprisingly, the black cub was more inclined towards observing these suffering individuals and their decline, than she was in the meat her mother had provided. That said, she knew better than to ignore her mother and soon found her way over to the lioness and the awaiting meal.

Not before being beaten by her brother though, he seemed to be determined to make sure he was there before anyone!
