Sora was escorting by servant to her friend's room, she sometimes accompany with her brothers or her friends to visit Merle. She didn't complain about it. Upon the arrival and door's open, Sora thank the servant with a smile and entered Merle's room, before she closed it. She approach to him, before she grab a chair nearby and set it next to the bedside as she sat down. She looked at Merle with a sad smile, "Hi Merle-kun, it's Sora. I just wanted you to know that Mavis-chan deactivated Fairy Sphere, so my brothers, Julian-kun, Dragneels, and I will be heading home. We will see our own parents in person, I mean Shiro-chan wanted to meet her dad with Winter-chan before heading back to Camelot," she stopped herself, and looked at comatous Merle before her smile faded, before she lifted her shirt to see her Fairy Tail mark on her lower left abdomen, "Even that means we won't see each other much, since Girder harassed me. I think Master Merlin might allow me to return to Camelot for pegasi-mount training, I don't know or he will send my mentor to Magnolia," she added about her future will hold her as she let go of her shirt, since she wanted to become Seraph Knight after she met her white pegasus name Tsubasa and learned about rank of pegasi-mount. She's currently Pegasus Knight, so she learn to support the king. It somehow results of her to being close friend with Merle, but she knew about him and Alice were a lot closer than him and herself. Mavis, Nashi, and sometimes Shiro teased Sora about being "too close" to Prince of Camelot, especially for match making habit for both Nashi and Mavis, they believe both prince and pegasus knight are fallen for each other, but Sora denied that idea.

Merle Pentragon
Merle slept unmoving in his bed. Nine months he'd been like this. Right on his birthday no less.
Merle never enjoyed his birthdays, when he was eight his father was stabbed and nearly died, their royal advisor, Merlin had placed an enchantment over his dad so he wouldn't die but he was frozen in a deep sleep. Merle, who was named after the wizard, hated the man because he wouldnt save his father, his mother had felt more or less the same and hadn't spoken to her friend since. Merle always kept away from magic. "magic made my father like this, and magic wont save him" he would say because he swore the one who did it was a man in blue and black lightning, so the members of Triple Goddess and Fairy Tail limited the prince's exposure to magic. The only one who did no such thing was Alice who, like her father, had to always speak her mind and would easily call Merle a prat if he was being too stubborn. In the begining, this annoyed Merle but he grew to accept it, even enjoy it and laughing along side her and his new friend Sora who he met a year prior when she disguised herself as a man. Slowly he came to at least tolerate mages but still hated magic thankful he didn't have any himself. On his thirteenth birthday, he had sneaked off from the tournament having never really wanted to be a knight anyway and just wandered around the courtyard just as it started to rain. He was about to run inside when he saw a tray full of potions just sitting there, thinking they might have been Alice's he picked up the tray just as the rain started coming down hard. But then, the strangest thing happened, the rain and the liquid in the potions started floating up. Merle barely had time to register what was going in before a lightning bolt struck him and the potions flew in the air and crashed around him and absorbed into his skin
Merle was slowly starting to open his eyes before his memories of that day caught up with him and jolted up gasping, for a split second lightning crackled in the irises of his eyes he did.
"My name is Merle Pendragon, i am the fastest man alive. When i was a child, my father was put into a coma by dark magic, then an accident caused me to have magic. To the people of Camelot, I'm their prince, but together with the Wizard guild: Triple Goddess, i use my speed and power over kinetic energy to fight crime and save innocents throughout the realms. and one day, i'll find who nearly killed my father, and finally wake him up. i am Raiden"

Sora looked at her friend, before she sadly closed her eyes, same as usual since she visited to check on him. She was about stand up and tell him that he will be great king someday, but Merle jolted up as she startled and nearly fell over. She thought she saw the lightning in his iris, but she will take it as her darkness was playing with her mind. She and her brothers discover they have their own hosts from their parents, but without them around, they couldn't control Darkness and Angelus, mainly Darkness is something that they cannot control or they will be demonic and wreck the havoc. Thankfully from their larcrima, they learn it's their emotion, however the most dangerous emotion that their ancient demon host will control their mind was their anger. Terra and Aqua taught them about the darkness was like hatred and rage, so she and her brothers feared about it. They swore that they will keep their emotion in check with Angelus' help.
Sora couldn't believe her eyes, her friend woken up from comatose. Her hands covered her mouth and she slowly stand up, "... Merle-kun," she spoken out, just as the door begin to knock as she startled and turned her head towards the door. The familiar voice begin to speak out through the door, "Hey Sora, I know you are busy talking to Pendragon, but you have to get ready to go home and meet your parents," said Jason through the door to alert her that she have to leave. She looked at the door and Merle, she have to tell Merlin, but she knew he has some distrust issues with magic. He has some exception with both Alice's telepathic and herself Heavenly Magic with strong point of sky and wind, including her light and darkness. She rush to the door and opens it, Jason looked surprised about her priceless expression, "Whoa, what was-" "Tell everyone, Merle-kun has woken up."
"... However, like my father, I am dark and dangerous warrior."

"Sora?" Merle said in confusion as he struggled to get out of bed and fell on the floor "ah what ..." he said wincing and looked outside "why am i in bed so late i ... i-" he said noticing something down his shirt and removed it and jumped back in shock and looked at Sora and Jason "what the- how the h*ll do i have abs!?" he asked showing that apparently he was somewhat muscularly toned, sure he wasn't pudgy before nor was he a walking stick figure, but he knew well he didn't look like a male model. then he narrowed his eyes when Sora told Jason to tell everyone he was awake "wait why would ... why would you need to tell everyone i'm ... that i'm awake how long was i asleep?!" he asked somewhat panicked

Jason heard Merle's voice as he looked over Sora's shoulder to find him away. He wasn't very impressed, "Oh, you are finally awake," he commented before Sora gave her friend a look, "Jace-kun," she scold him, who looked at her. Sora looked at Merle and about to tell him, but in the wrong time, Merle removed his shirt to find out he has abs. She quickly looked away with a blush, "H-H-Hey!" she cried out loud to cover her cheeks. Jason widen his eyes in shock, "D*mn what the h*ll did the lightning do to you? And I swear Nashi and Mavis will make fun of you two," he asked and made the commented that Nashi and Mavis will make fun of them in awkward situation. Sora heard his comment and face palm before she shook her head, "I told them we are nothing like that," she said to herself and looked at Merle, not wanted to get more awkward or Alice will get the wrong idea, which Mavis pointed out that Sora really looks like a teenage model and she will ask her mom to allow her join the modelling career, so Sora will give that a try once she meets Mirajane. Jason gave her a smile, "I know, but Sora, they were waiting for you to come back and prepare to meet your parents and return to Fairy Tail guild. I will let everyone know, you will be back shortly, right after you explain this," he informed her that she should get ready to leave Camelot, then leaves. Sora smiled at him and entrusted him to tell everyone. She looked at Merle, who's panicked from the question. She blinked couple times and closed her eyes, "I can't believe I am going to say this that may going hurt your knight code, but Merle-kun... you were in comatose in nine months after you were struck by lightning."

Merle Pentragon
"nine ..." Merle said in barely a whisper "I've been out for nine months?!" he said as his voice raised and rubbed his eyes then slammed his hand on the desk in anger and got up walking to the window. Unknown to either of then the desk started glowing purple as Merle looked out "why is it ... all of my birthdays suck?" he asked then looked at Sora "well ... at least the lightning just gave me muscles ... not so bad" he said trying to be possitive until the desk glowed fully purple and exploded. Merle was startled so much he started seeing the splintered wood move out in slow motion, in fact he saw everything in slow motion and looked down at his hands seeing sparks of blue lightning emitting from his arms as they went up. To say Merle was freaked out was an understatement and when everything went back to regular speed, he looked at Sora in fear and ran to the door and out to the courtyard

Sora winced about how Merle raised his voice to find out how long he been out. Like her friend, she failed to noticed the desk started to glow in purple, she's just trailing her bright blue eyes at him. She didn't say anything about his worse birthday, but gave her a positive about his muscles, "Maybe, you can handle the bullies you have been through," she thoughted to remembered how the mean kids were bullying him. Her bright blue eyes caught the purple glow as she turned her head towards the desk, just as it's exploded, she quickly cover her head with her hands. When it's completely blown up, she lowered her arms in shock, "Wha... What just happen?" she asked him, while her eyes couldn't take off the blown up desk. Her brain was scrambled to figure out what's going on, until she heard the door open and she turned her head to catch a glimpse on his escape figure. She grew worried, "Oh don't tell me, he has some magic," she muttered and ran after him.
