Thyrmr couldn't really delay for too long... But a part of him knew that the lioness could use the company on the way home. By the sounds of it she needed a cheerleader, even a quiet one, who was simply there to reinforce that she was making the right decision. He didn't really understand the behaviour of her home pride but he also couldn't judge it. The Al'Siq had just as many controversial views within it and based on his mother's explanations they treated certain individuals quite poorly... Some how this seemed similar.

"Let's get you home," he said with a brief nod. "Do you need to collect anyone who came with you before we go, or pass on messages so they know where you're going?" He wasn't sure how many, if any at all, had come with her. However, if she'd been accompanied then he knew that her companions were liable to panic if she simply vanished. In the grand scheme of things he much preferred the lioness return home with all parties aware of the intention.

...Everyone felt better surrounded by family.

He had no doubt she'd feel better and to be honest it would be easy to teach her how to do a proper right hook. She had enough spark in her to do it right, she just didn't seem naturally inclined towards violence in any shape of form. When it came to self defence though he had confidence her views might change, just because a pride was full of pacifists didn't mean that you couldn't push them hard enough to get mad sometimes. What was it they said? Pacifism should never be mistaken for weakness? Yes, that was it.

"Sooner we get you settled back in, the sooner you can put a couple of them in their place. You said yourself you made a mistake and you're mature enough to answer for it... to make up for it... That should be more than enough of an apology (at least in my books)."

He wasn't naive to assume everyone would see it that way, but it was at least a start, and if in doubt Tarni could always surround herself in those lions and do her best to avoid the others right...?

At this point he smiled expectantly, he didn't know the way and if she intended to head home then she was going to have to lead the way!

sorry short wrap brain dead O.O!

His words were just so kind. She really didn’t know what to say to him. “Yes we should pick up my cousin on the way, he’s stayed with me.” She smiled softly, how she would explain her new companion to her relatives she was unsure but that didn’t matter. This conversation had convinced her there was no place like home, no matter if it was in turmoil.

Getting to her paws she nodded to the pale male her teal eyes dancing happily. “Come we’ll find my cousin on the way.” She whispered leading the way off towards the bahari.

Her stomach churned a little at the thought of returning home, nothing to do with the belly full of cubs she was carrying, a fear for herself and her babies. She had left on a whim though, left because of the pressure that the pride was placing upon her, the expectations of being irresponsible. Though the Kizi had welcomed her and she was grateful she really just wanted to be back home and with this little push, from a stranger at that, she had made up her mind.

Home was where her heart was and it was where she wanted her cubs to be born even if the pride was angry with her she and her family would protect these babies and maybe, just maybe, something would change soon, things would get better, hopefully.
