She had decided to venture from the traveling party a little ways, but not too far that if something were to happen help wouldn't be far off.

Flicking her dark tail behind her she curled around one of her back legs out of boredom. So she was to be a slave when they got back. All of her siblings would end up in such a role, but the males could easily find mates outside this class they had been placed.

Was it because they had been born outside their home lands? So many questions raced through her mind, though she figured it wasn't such a bad thing. She was still able to be helpful and do things worth meaning, she just would never have a rank that said so.

She was alright with that though.

Wasn't she?

So lost in thought she was, she failed to notice she was no longer alone.

He had left his home, it had been a requirement for him given he hadn't want to stay and never have children of his own. It was really a personal preference, while he was going to miss his mother and sisters greatly he was quite alright with being out on his own. At least he thought he was?

Good thing for him he had his vulture companion with him, Bandile. Balulekile looked at the young avian and smiled, if not for him he wasn't sure what he'd do. To be honest he'd probably have gone a little insane from the boredom of being alone.

"Balu, there seems to be a party not far ahead. Perhaps we can check them out?" The pale male looked up towards the sky and thought about it for a moment. What if they ended up being hostile though. Thinking on it a minute more he gave a nod of his head. "Yea, let's check it out. We can hang out on the edge and perhaps someone will come say hello."

The duo made their way towards the band of lions.
