Baridi had found a nice tree to settle in for a long nap, ready to sleep the day away. She had been out in the rogue lands for quite some time now and couldn't quite find a place to call home. That didn't bother her too much, though, since a simple tree was a comfortable place for her to catch a rest. Settling on a thick branch that was decently high up, she spread herself out, limbs dangling off the edge. On the horizon a line of pink warned of the incoming sun and the leopardess sighed softly with delight. Nighttime was good for hunting but there was little better than the first rays of sunshine on her green pelt.

A few minutes more and she had to turn her head from watching the sunrise, the light blinding her a bit. Warmth was soon to follow, her fur bristling just a bit as a chill ran down her spine at just how good morning felt. She let out a large yawn, tongue and toes curling, before she settled down on her branch. Taking a deep breath, Baridi let it out slowly, enjoying the warmth on her fur as the sun took to the skies. Around her the savanna began to stir, creatures waking and going about their morning business, but the leopardess was already snoozing. She'd be up and about again once the sun began to set, but for now it was time to rest and relax.
