In all honesty Beflecken had never looked to take those seeking the reaver title out with him to help them obtain the status of reaver. The viking trip he'd set out on before had been a none capture mission and thus this reaver trip today would be much of the same. Beflecken had never had the taste for capturing other creatures to serve others it seemed a bit much. Ushma had always argued that it would be nice to have extra paws on deck around the den when the two were together but Beflecken resisted the idea and so he would continue to resist the idea and make today about messing up some merchants day.

The group of lions had traveled a weeks journey away from the stormborn. This was done on purpose to find fresh areas that had merchants not as aware for who the storm born were and what they might have in mind for any goods they might be carrying.

"Alright you lot," Beflecken started, "There have been reports of merchants traveling the path up ahead in the mountains. We'll be most effective if we're able to stick together and out number the group."

"Hmph," Ledz was more than ready for this. She had hoped that Bast'ion would be the one to have taken her on her first viking trip but things didn't always go as planned. She was older than a good deal of the lions in the group but still a pretty fresh lioness. She was not angry at Bast'ion because she never really expected much from him in the first place.

"I was hoping we'd be able to go on a capture mission," Yuli grumbled. He saw his father bring back a few thrall and wanted to have a few of his own but he supposed maybe he should have asked before hand about what the group would be doing. Ah well, when he got his title he could get a thrall all of his own. Ledz rolled her eyes at her younger 'brother'.

"It doesn't matter what kind of mission it is. It's to get our reaver title so.." Gjenferd had put off getting his reaver title for a longer time than he would have liked but now with his father, Beflecken, leading the group he was happy to get away from his mother and get his title. It meant freedom and that he didn't need to be around the family much anymore.

"... Soo about this merchant path. Anything else we will need to know?" Eira wasn't about to waste her breath with petty whining or arguing. She wanted to get to the point and get this reaver trip out of the way.

"Ah an excellent question Eira." Beflecken began, "The best I can tell you is what I said already. If we stick together this will be a breeze. This will be a pretty straight forward assignment so there isn't a lot to worry about." The group hushed up so they could hear Beflecken better. "Alright everyone follow me.

((Will continue. Taking a break but will finish this srp))

((Rolling dice for how many merchants they come across. First dice represents body count of merchants. Second dice represents the amount of goods they have. Higher number is better))

The group had marched up the side of the mountain and under Befleckens guidance all found good places to position them selves hidden well away from view from the path that cut across the rocky landscape. They had been placed strategically for over an hour when Yuli spoke up in a hushed whisper.

"How long are we going to have to wait?" The young lion was impatient and wanted to get his reaver status as quickly as possible so he could show off to his brothers. Before Beflecken could even say anything Ledz had reached out and slapped her younger 'brother' over the head.

"You're going to have to be patient and you're going to have to work as a team. Stop bickering. Reavers don't bicker," He didn't have time for cub like antics. Even if this was a group heist style viking trip there were still a lot of things that could go wrong. All of these lions were inexperienced unlike him and he was responsible for the lots safety and success. A lot was also riding on his shoulders so he did not have the patience or time to deal with those that whined.

The group quieted down and laid in wait for the traveling merchant or merchants. The information on if it was group or a single merchant was limited so Beflecken was poised for any sort of situation.

Something over the horizon could be seen headed their way. It looked like a single male lion with bags wrapped around his neck and shoulders along with some baggage on his back. That was a lot of loot for a single male lion to be carrying but the male looked like he could handle it . He was pretty large and strong looking. Even with their superior numbers it wasn't going to be a cake walk to take this guy down.

The signal was given and their numbers descended from their hiding places revealing them selves to the lion. Beflecken stayed behind only planning to step in if things got bad. Four on one the numbers were on the groups side and not to mention that the male had a tremendous amount of loot holding him down. Still, this wasn't someone Beflecken would underestimate.

The male stopped but didn't look surprised. He gave each young face in front of him a glance before starting back up again as if he was unfazed by what was happening.

Ledz was the first to step , squarely, in the way of the male and stare him down so he'd stop. He did. She wasn't budging.

"Listen. We need your goods so if you'll kindly set them aside we can avoid conflict all together, "Eira explained, "Put the bags down and you can walk away right now.

"I ain't gonna do somethin like that," The merchant grumbled, "Gettoutta da way iffin you know whats good for you. I ain't got time for the likes of you." He growled extending claws.

Gjenferd stretched his claws out and swiped at the males bags setting one free. He was quick to pick it up and throw it to the side. Yuli followed his example on the other side and grabbed and threw his bag to the side. The merchant wasn't sure which little punk a** he should attack first as the two made it difficult so instead he went for Ledz who was quick enough to jump back. Eira came out from behind Ledz and went for a swipe on the males face.

"Any idiot can see when they're out matched. Even if you didn't have the baggage on your back you'd still be grossly out numbered. Swallow your pride sir. You can still walk away." Eira growled.

The four regrouped to the front of the merchant. There was no need to block his path from running as the loot would only slow him down.

The merchant must have known this because he was quick to put his bags down and back away.

"I know when I'm beat. Damn it!" He growled and with that he was out of sight.

Beflecken revealed him self from his hiding space and smiled.

"Good. Gather the loot and lets get back to base." Beflecken felta swell of pride in the group. All of them had played a good role in securing those loot bags. There was an impressive amount of things that they'd be going home with and if you asked Beflecken that was better than anything.
