The morning had started for poor Roshan long before the sun was actually in the sky as a tiny body slammed into him excitedly. "Dad! DAD! Daaaaaad! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD wake up! Wake up! You said we could go hunting today! DAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDY!!!" Kadoadi whined as she crawled all over him playfully batting at his ears and rooting into his mane. "C'mon Daddy! UP!"

As usual, wherever his hyper daughter was, her calmer twin wasn't far behind. Salah'licik yawned sleepily as he moved to curl into the warmth of his father murmuring "Can't we trade her in for something quieter? Like one of those screaming monkeys?" He closed his striking violet eyes as he nuzzled into Roshan's mane wanting to go back to sleep.

Roshan'Parveneh was not an early riser when in pride. Sure he got up early when he was traveling, but not when he was IN the pride. That was his resting and recuperating time! This time was especially a time of needing recuperation. Traveling with cubs was hard on him. He had just come back in from outside the pride with the two little fluffs that were his cubs about a week ago and thought they would be able to sleep soundly after all that travel.

Of course, he had been wrong and Roshan was still wearing his tail out with them, trying to chase the one down, entertain her, and generally keep her out of trouble. So this morning, he was not in the mood to get up early because his daughter had exhausted him the day before. The male opened one eye, looked at both cubs, and then closed it again. "We will hunt, when it is time to get up. It is not that time yet." He snuggled his son close as he prepared to sleep again. "One cannot trade their family, but I can always get vines to tie her muzzle shut."

Kadoadi huffed as she tugged in vain at her father's mane "But Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. It's almost sunrise and then everyone will be up and you'll have to stop and talk to everyone! If we go now we will be the only ones out! C'mon! PLEASE?! Salah help me here!"

Salah didn't even flick an ear as he tried to ignore his twin in favor of getting a bit more shut eye while snuggled to his father's warmth. He didn't have any idea WHY Kado wanted to go so early, she was too excitable by half when it came to hunting often scaring away whatever she was 'stalking'.

Roshan'Parveneh slowly moved one paw as of he were stretching. He brought it around and pulled his daughter in against himself instead. He wanted sleep and his daughter MIGHT try to rush off without him, if he wasn't careful. "Kadoadi, when one lives in a pride, one must always take the time to be social with others. A pride is a family. We must never ignore family... Just as I am taking the time to talk to you when I wish to sleep."

Roshan wondered if his sister had this much trouble with her cubs. He did not think it likely, since she had a mate AND had practice from living with Obadias back in their original pride. He missed his old home sometimes, bit his daughter certainly would not have been a good, quiet Banu as his family and pride would have expected and he doubted his son would have ever wanted to go catch his first Banu as required.
