[META-G] Hunting Contests [Closed]

The grasslands of the Aegnor'hini have kept them fed for many turns of the seasons. Many preybeasts roam through it, migrating and settling in turns. And the Aegnor'hini are predators through and through. What better way to celebrate than to pit the skills of hunters against each other, with glory and bragging rights for the victor and a feast for the other celebrants before the end of the night?

Domefae, Nak carefully perched on his back, awaits the contestants where the river that runs through the pride dips closest to the dens, and does not speak until everyone is present and quiet. "You all know why you are here. The rules of the contest are simple. Only one prey counts. You may work alone or in groups of two. Your catch will be judged on size, skill needed to take it down, and how well it will feed the pride. I will remind you all to not pull anything idiotic. We don't need anyone gored in the middle of a celebration. Good hunting!"

The Game

The game is simple: your goal is to pursue and bring back the best catch you can! You may enter only two SoA per person. You can work alone or in pairs! And there will be three winners total; one solo, one pair.

How It Works
You will roll three 4-sided dice per SoA entered in the contest. The first die determines the size of the prey: small, medium, medium-large, and large [NOT elephant-sized]. The second determines the skill involved: 1 is easy, 2 is medium difficulty, 3 is difficult, and 4 is master-level. The third determines if you caught it or not. 1-2 means it gets away, 3 means you caught it with some difficulty [and may have sustained injury if you wish to RP that], 4 means an exemplary kill.

Now what if you're working with a partner? The first and second rolls use the higher of the two felines' rolls. The third? You'll add together your results! Of course, anything totaling over 4 counts as a 4.

You may try a total of three times if your prey gets away. After the third try, you will sadly come back empty-pawed.

The prize?
There is no SoA as a prize or such for this game, however, the winners get bragging rights for the year! [Plus some of the rolls could make for good hunting stories and new scars!]

Sorry, but no. Part of hunting is as much luck as it is skill, and a good hunter knows that sometimes, you really shouldn't push it.
