[PRP] Beginning [Furaha x Tobi]

The world was getting boring. Ever since he left home, he traveled. He saw what he could, met who he could. There were nights where he was alone and nights when he had a ladyfriend keeping him warm. There were days where he traveled with a pack of canines or a caravan of merchants, and days where he didn't see a soul for several days in a row.

He needed something new, though. Everything was getting boring, redundant. It was lonely. He needed someone to experience the world with; who was he going to share his experiences with? All the lady friends he met in the past were pleasant enough but... he wasn't sure they would work out. Perhaps he'll find one in the future.

Sighing, he approached a watering hole, ready to drink and fill his waterskin. Perhaps he can run into a caravan that sells the fruit wines. Or find a crossroads... both ideas were appealing.

[Bronze Coffee]

Tobi was wary of...everything. He had been since he suddenly found himself parent-less before he was ready. Tobi had to grow up, but as an only child with no parents and not great hunting skills, it was hard. Everything could kill him, and nearly everything had tried.

He approached the watering hole panting harshly, looking too thin, too..matted. Silver eyes weren't seeing straight as he found the shade of a tree, unaware of the lion just across the way. Carefully the adolescent lion leaned himself against the tree and just tried to force himself to rest. He was starving, thirsty, but he was so tired. He'd wandered too close to a pride of lions with red coats and they'd chased him out, which put him on edge to think that they were still after him.

Even now his anxiety was telling him to get up and run more.

Right now, maybe not running, but he did crawl forward to drop his head in the water entirely before pulling back enough to drink instead.
