A Botanist's Growths
Greenhouses, Plants, Beauty

User Image

For Heights: Botany also called plant science(s) or plant biology, is the science of plant life and a branch of biology. A botanist or plant scientist is a scientist who specializes in this field of study. Traditionally, botany has also included the study of fungi and algae by mycologists and phycologists respectively. In layman's terms, planting into the ground of the Shinobi Nations will yield some sweet, sweet fruit. Some shinobi have it easier than others, of course, and may not have to go planting for resources. Others can simply make their own resources, but what comes from the soil is more than that: it's blood, sweat, tears, laughter, and the promise of vast untold possibilities.

Rewards
Growing plants with the low-grade fertilizer takes two [2] (in real life) weeks, while high-grade works its wonders in one [1]. Without it, normal growth times will match in real life lengths.

Farming Types:
In general, any village may build a greenhouse, using hydroponics in an Intensive farming type.
Dryland
This is Sunagakure's default system, coupled with Intensive.
Dryland farming has evolved as a set of techniques and management practices used by farmers to continually adapt to the presence or lack of moisture in a given crop cycle. Dryland farming involves the constant assessing of the amount of moisture present or lacking for any given crop cycle and planning accordingly. Dryland farmers know that to financially succeed they have to be aggressive during the good years in order to offset the bad years.

Fell/Steppe
This is Kumogakure's default system.
Fell/Steppe farming has evolved as a set of techniques and management practices used by farmers to continually adapt to the presence or lack of tenable land in a given crop cycle. As grasses are the primary product, Fell farmers rely on dry grasses (i.e. hay) to feed their livestock. Under the best circumstances, turning hills into a series of steps (Steppe-style) allows for irrigation to more adequately provide for other crops.

Extensive
This is Konohagakure's default system, coupled with Forest.
Extensive farming is found in the mid-latitude sections of most continents, as well as in desert regions where water for cropping is not available. The nature of extensive farming means it requires less rainfall than intensive farming. The farm is usually large in comparison with the numbers working and money spent on it.

Intensive
This is Sunagakure's default system, coupled with Dryland.
Intensive farming/agriculture is characterized by a low fallow ratio and generally the high use of inputs such as capital, labour, or heavy use of pesticides and fertilizers relative to land area. This is in contrast to many sorts of traditional agriculture in which the inputs per unit land are lower. With intensification, energy use typically goes up, either provided by humans, or supplemented with animals, or replaced with machines. This is a good example of a greenhouse.

Kharif and Rabi
This is Otogakure and Kirigakure's default system.
Kharif/monsoon crops are domesticated plants cultivated and harvested during the rainy (monsoon) season, while Rabi refers to agricultural crops sown in winter and harvested in the spring. It requires a delicate balancing of eschewing water conservation during the monsoon, and the stockpiling of it during the winter. There is so much water during the monsoon seasons that proper soil construction is needed, or everything simply floats away. As wet as it is, fungi, alga, mushrooms, and rice have no problems growing.

Forest
This is Konohagakure's default system, coupled with Extensive.
Forest gardening is a low-maintenance sustainable plant-based food production and agroforestry system based on woodland ecosystems, incorporating fruit and nut trees, shrubs, herbs, vines and perennial vegetables which have yields directly useful to humans. Making use of companion planting, these can be intermixed to grow in a succession of layers, to build a woodland habitat.

Foraging
This natural type is all about going out into the world to find already grown plants, fungi, et cetera, and harvesting them. Some countries are more attuned to having a high biodiversity, and thus more chances of strange plants or fungi out in the open, while others have them in more remote locales. This does not exclude the outliers, like Suna or Kumo, for which their biodiversity may be held in caves, treacherous fjords, or animal types instead of plant or fungal types. Some, like Oto, are better off finding fungi, insects, and certain tree-top animals instead of being able to find arable land.

Missions

Title: Labor I
Rank: E
Information: This involves chopping wood, watering the plants, tilling the soil, weeding, chasing off crows, altering the bug population, and other menial tasks.
Solo or Squad: Solo
Minimum Posts: 3
Note: If followed by or before Labor II, treat Labor I as a D-rank mission.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Title: Labor II
Rank: D
Information: This involves the more heavy labor parts of Labor I, such as felling a tree, planting lots of seeds, taking fertilizer from one place to another, clearing land for use, and other more intensive tasks.
Solo or Squad: Solo
Minimum Posts: 4
Note: If followed by or before Labor I, treat Labor I as a D-rank mission.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Title: Tending the Land
Rank: C
Information: It takes a lot of time to grow plants in a mostly natural setting, even with shinobi influence. Get yourself to the fields and then prepare to do some labor intensive missions!
Solo or Squad: Solo
Minimum Posts: 6 posts, meaning 3 to get there, and 3 to return, with at least 1 additional mission during the stay.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Title: Clerical Work
Rank: B
Information: Restricted to those of C-Rank Body, minimally, doing the clerical work for the village is a good step in the right direction. This involves dealing with the mail, interpreting poor hand writing on supply requests, running around and getting various folks to sign orders, maintaining any potential retail area, and doing a lot of book keeping. It may not seem much like Botany, but if this job isn't performed, a lot of folks will be out of business, food, and basic supplies.
Solo or Squad: Solo
Minimum Posts: 5 posts, once on location.
Note: Gives double ryo, but no AC, unless of Worker class or assigned by the Village Leader. Instead, a 50 lbs. bag of low grade, shinobi-quality, village-specific fertilizer is given, speeding the complete growth process of plants and fungi to that of two irl weeks.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Title: Botany
Rank: A
Information: Restricted to those of B-Rank Body, minimally, this requires studying plants and fungi, their growth cycles, habitats, and how they interact with the world, in great detail.
Solo or Squad: Solo
Minimum Posts: 9 posts, once on location.
Note: Gives double ryo, but no AC, unless of Worker class or assigned by the Village Leader. Instead, a 50 lbs. bag of high grade, shinobi-quality, village-specific fertilizer is given, speeding the complete growth process of plants and fungi to that of one irl week.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Title: Genetics
Rank: S
Information: Restricted to those of B-Rank Body. This job takes place mostly in a lab setting, splicing together and producing new plants or fungi. Often times the hybrids aren't useful, or can't exist very well, leading to a penny flip at 2 times: Creation and Full Growth. At creation, a flip of heads (or 1, if of a 0-1 dice roll) allows for the plant to try to exist. At the full growth of one/two weeks (assuming shinobi-quality fertilizer is used), another flip of the same result is needed. If the second one fails, the plant/fungi can exist as a highly weak version, and won't germinate or be able to be used in further genetic testing.
Solo or Squad: Solo
Minimum Posts: 14 posts
Note: A good example of a hybrid is taking a plant or fungi with many toxins, and reducing the effects to just the ones needed, via gene dilution. Flip the first coin during the last post of the mission, as the second one will have to wait. If you fail the first coin toss, this mission will pay you that of a B-rank, for compensation. Gives double ryo, but no AC, unless of Worker class or assigned by the Village Leader.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Special - Rank: When a successful strain is discovered during the genetics testing, it means that the strain might be harvestable out in the open environment. Some plants, like those of the sentient Jofuku, can't be raised in any setting other than that of the wild, or by their own will. Some fungi, like the Moulding Shroom, are dangerous to even be around, as their spores will drive most folks to unimaginable situations. A Missions Mod will determine how much of the strain there is and where it might be found, thread-wise. Higher yields equate to higher threats, mission ranks, and potential battles against either the strain or looters/thieves/mercenaries/etc. A thread marked with its known strains in the opening post will not require additional genetics testing to find said strains.

Ryōri Shinobi - Shinobi Chef
Edibles, Buffs, Attacks

User Image

For Life: It is said that all good things start with a full belly from a delicious meal. Ryōri-nin are shinobi who specialize in the cooking that leads to the best of times, and through the worst of times. Initially, their craft first developed in the Land of Lightning, and after a great deal of time, their trade secrets were shared amongst the wandering kind. Now, they meander around in the forests and paths outside villages, waiting for hungry shinobi to walk past, or cultivate new techniques in the safe confines of the villages themselves. Whenever they find a hungry shinobi team, though, ryōri-nin make all kinds of wonderful food for them, allowing for even opposing teams to throw up a temporary truce from the stark face of hunger. Hakkaku, the only named cooking-nin in canon, makes such good food that shinobi can't stop eating and become fat from engorging themselves day after day. This can take a massive toll on the shinobi's abilities, and can destroy a mission completely from such subtle subversion.

Requirements: None.

Ryōri-nin Types:
Chefs from around the world have collaborated to produce a generalized list of all the different kinds of food-centered positions. Among these are the general All-Rounder, good for everyday needs, the Nutritionist, great for insta-buffs, the Food Arts, evasive on the battlefield while filling, the Shinobi, useful for attacking, and the Gourmand, conservative in nature but helpful to those around them.

All-Rounder
The All-Rounder is the most frequently used class, requiring the least amount of training, but also the least amount of specific effects. Taking only a single smithing title to encompass all of its ranks instead of 1 per, the All-Rounder is able to produce both everyday foods and chakra meals that are able to affect all recovery rates.

Nutritionist
The Nutritionist is more than an All-Rounder, learning the intricate capabilities of foods upon the body (i.e. per species), but losing out on the everyday cooking abilities. These folks are able to use specialty labs to produce chakra foods that All-Rounders could only hope to understand, buffing the various bodily activities to unseen heights.

Food Arts
Those belonging to the Food Arts industry differ from the All-Rounder in that while they aren't able to do everyday meals, buffs, or nerfs, they excel in replicating actual techniques as food items. In retraining their normal techniques, they are able to add food related items to either accompany or completely replace the contents. For example, these may come as turning a hand technique into something with forks, or adding spaghetti to a tornado.

Shinobi
The Shinobi-type often start out as All-Rounders, only to switch to their current type upon discovering how dangerous foods can actually be. By altering the contents with more harmful ingredients, Shinobi can turn normally healthy foods into life threatening experiences. Not so merely adding poison to a spoon or T.N.T. to a meatball, Shinobi are able to disguise such foods as something entirely different, or even initially healthful. Some legendary attack foods include the fabled Roast Beef, which was known in its time as the precursor to death itself.

Gourmand
Gourmands, a rarity in this day and age, have exceedingly extended palates and bodily enhancements. Without the ability to do any actual cooking, they are able to parse out what exactly is in a food, negate out harmful ingredients to a certain degree, and boost the efficiencies of the other chef types. To begin, they have the unique ability to gain resistances to Hazards in double the time. Next, they are able to, upon discovering a dangerous ingredient, neutralize it internally within two posts. (those dealing with chakra require the same amount to negate) Lastly, they are able to Korabo with the other chef types during the creation process, assisting them enough to double their own production rates, meaning either twice as many or half the creation time.

Medical Field
Recovery, Life Saving, Healing

User Image

For Healing: Medicine has existed for thousands of years, during most of which it was an art frequently having connections to the religious and philosophical beliefs of local shinobi culture. In recent centuries, since the advent of science, most medicine has become a combination of art and science. Combining the past with the present, it was only a matter of time until the line between the two began to blur, mixing chakra techniques with those of rigorously examined practices. As such, even the local populace is able to enjoy a full career in the medical field, without ever so much as a drop of shinobi training. To be certain, medical chakra in many ways eclipses the speed and quality of healing that the other does not come close to, but there is always something to be said about the diligence of humanity.

Medical Field Types:
The field of medicine is a vast, wide open space of many specialized areas. While we recognize that there can be many sub headers to each of these, or even more actual headers, we've reduced them to five for simplicity. For Tamers, the Medical Field can turn into Veterinarian Practices, with the same benefits.

Nursing
A general physician that focuses on the well being of many patients, making long-term decisions that can affect wide swaths of people. They are more than competent with first aid materials, with the knowledge beyond simple Academy field kits, and also with long-term care. They can also give correct dosages of medicine and are slightly proficient in small incision detailing. Unfortunately, learning about a wide swath of medicine also makes them poor at more than the general, most-seen scenarios. In general, nurses are the best at diagnosing problems, while other fields have to rely on nurses to do it for them. Of the basic standard med-kit, nurses can use it to its full potential, and make adjustments as necessary. Experienced botanists will even have knowledge on what plants will be good replacements for out of stock supplies.

Emergency
An emergency physician focuses on the immediate decision making and action necessary to prevent death or any further disability both in the prehospital setting by directing emergency medical technicians and in the emergency department. The emergency physician provides immediate recognition, evaluation, care, stabilization, and disposition of a generally diversified population of adult and pediatric patients in response to acute illness and injury. In the field, they are able to quickly address situations, but cannot deal with medium- or long-term problems. Emergency physicians also need more than the basic standard med-kit.

Internal
An internist provides long-term, comprehensive care in the office and the hospital, managing both common and complex illness of adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Internists are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, infections, and diseases affecting the heart, blood, kidneys, joints, and digestive, respiratory, and vascular systems. They are also trained in the essentials of primary care internal medicine, which incorporates an understanding of disease prevention, wellness, substance abuse, mental health, and effective treatment of common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system, and reproductive organs. In the field, they are not able to address situations with the same haste as others. After patients are stabilized, they can take care of medium- or long-term problems. Internal physicians also need more than the basic standard med-kit.

Psychiatry
A psychiatrist specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, addictive, and emotional disorders such as schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance-related disorders, sexual and gender identity disorders, and adjustment disorders. The psychiatrist is able to understand the biologic, psychologic, and social components of illness and, therefore, is uniquely prepared to treat the whole person. A psychiatrist is qualified to order diagnostic laboratory tests and to prescribe medications, evaluate and treat psychologic and interpersonal problems, and intervene with families who are coping with stress, crises, and other problems in living. In the field, psychiatrists are able to correctly choose dosages, identify or correctly apply genjutsu to situations, and apply their knowledge of the mind to slyly manipulate conversations.

Surgery
A surgeon manages a broad spectrum of surgical conditions affecting almost any area of the body. The surgeon establishes the diagnosis and provides the preoperative, operative, and postoperative care to surgical patients and is usually responsible for the comprehensive management of the trauma victim and the critically ill surgical patient. The surgeon uses a variety of diagnostic techniques, including endoscopy, for observing internal structures, and may use specialized instruments during operative procedures. A general surgeon is expected to be familiar with the main features of other surgical specialties in order to recognize problems in those areas and to know when to refer a patient to another specialist. In the field, the Surgeon knows just where to apply a blade, either for physical or spiritual needs. As such, a Surgeon can often find Tenketsu and the Inner Gates in others, along with starting the healing process to damaged internal organs.

Information: Consultation usually refers to a procedure whereby, on request by one physician, another physician reviews a patient's medical history, examines the patient, and makes recommendations as to care and treatment. Missions of this rank are typically of high-class, citizen nature, rather than shinobi.
Solo or Squad: Solo
Minimum Posts: 6 posts. 3 to get there, and 3 to return, including another mission between the two sets. Usually, the mission involves Diagnosis at some point.

Title: Research
Rank: B
Information: Medical research is a lengthy, soul searching subject into the nuances of human and non-human activities. Frequently, pen and paper tests have to be performed, to which they are closely scrutinized amongst the academic community. Other times, long nights of reading through bookcase after bookcase is necessary to find the right information. The research is even applicable towards how chakra affects others, by what margins, and aftermaths.
Solo or Squad: Solo
Minimum Posts: 5 posts, once on location.
Note: No AC upon completion, unless of Worker class or assigned by a Village Leader, and double ryo is given. Redeemable [Research] Coupon: -2 posts off of a single training, or -1 post off for a mission completion. The research must pertain to what the coupon is going towards.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Title: Hazard Inspection
Rank: A
Information: As many valuable pharmaceuticals are created and stored on location, their maintenance is both necessary and a prerequisite for non-chakra based medicine. Frequently, inventory is stolen from, vials and beakers of poor glass quality break, and general accidental spills occur. Additionally, new shipments are always arriving or departing, requiring rigorous practices to ensure the highest of quality with the correct amounts requested. Failure to do so properly could result in the deaths of many, or just you.
Solo or Squad: Both
Minimum Posts: 9 posts, once on location.
Note: No AC upon completion, unless of Worker class or assigned by a Village Leader, and double ryo is given. Adds one [1] extra poison resistance slot above and beyond the normal allowances, for the rpc(s) involved.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Title: Experimentation Recovery
Rank: S
Information: Debates have raged for centuries on the ethical standards of experimentation, with both sides providing valid commentary. In the end, both will agree that not being able to do some form of experimentation causes a poor quality technique or drug. When animals are insufficient, the terminally ill will sometimes volunteer to be a part of theoretical lab works. It's the physicians' job to make sure that these brave souls come out the other side alive, whether it's through a dire emergency situation, or a calm discussion with the patient during the trial period, to gauge mental health. Insight from these quirky situations are invaluable to those participating, providing a boon to one's creativity and intelligence for a short while.
Solo or Squad: Both
Minimum Posts: 14 posts
Note: No AC upon completion, unless of Worker class or assigned by a Village Leader, and double ryo is given. Provides a 2 post learning time for the next custom jutsu related in some way to medical practices, or for a jutsu being retrained with the [Medical] tag.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Special - Rank: Allows for retraining of standard jutsu into those with a [Medical] tag on the end of them. [Medical] jutsu are ever so slightly different from their standard counterpart, trained to have more medical based utility than their original offensive ability, as an instrument. A bonus for retraining a jutsu this way is a rank lower for sustain costs, minimized at E-rank. [Medical] tagged jutsu do not exhibit any special Eiseijutsu chakra or healing properties.

For Soul: A religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to an order of existence. Many religions have narratives, symbols, and sacred histories that aim to explain the meaning of life, the origin of life, or the Universe. From their beliefs about the cosmos and human nature, people may derive morality, ethics, religious laws or a preferred lifestyle. Many religions may have organized behaviors, clergy, a definition of what constitutes adherence or membership, holy places, and scriptures. The practice of a religion may include rituals, sermons, commemoration or veneration (of a deity, gods, or goddesses), sacrifices, festivals, feasts, trances, initiations, funerary services, matrimonial services, meditation, prayer, music, art, dance, public service, or other aspects of human culture. Religions may also contain mythology. The word religion is sometimes used interchangeably with faith or set of duties; however, in the words of Émile Durkheim, religion differs from private belief in that it is "something eminently social".

Religious Types:
There are many, many religions. So many, in fact, that there is simply not enough space here to briefly describe all of them! Effects specific to particular religions will also be noted. Also, while there is the ability to rationalize believing in multiple religions--and do separate jobs for them--other practitioners will ordinarily not tolerate such uncouth behavior.

Ninshuu
The teachings of ninshū were meant to give people a better understanding of themselves, as well as others, and lead the world into an era of peace. Hagoromo exemplified his teachings by distributing chakra meant to "connect" people's spiritual energies with one another. It would allow people to understand each other without communication and pray for one another's safety. It was Hagoromo's belief that no one's chakra should be so much greater than any other.
Effect: Converts the S - Rank mission's Korabo effects to those of sharing one's chakra and stamina fully with them. Your life, connected to theirs, eternally. In pooling together everyone's limits, anyone with access to the shared pool counts it as their own, and any effects that deal with normal chakra pools will deal with the whole, and vice versa. Reduces ability to Kai out of genjutsu by 1 rank, increases the chakra required to do so, by the same amount, and the genjutsu affects all that are sharing.

Jashinism
Jashin expects that all his followers — so named "Jashinists" — bring nothing less than utter destruction and death. Hidan always used to pray to Jashin before a fight, asking for a "good kill." If he is unsuccessful, or is not allowed to kill, he prays for forgiveness.
Effect: Converts the S - Rank mission's Korabo effects to a permanent increase in one of the following: 1 additional day to the normal 2 week grace period, a rank increase in one's personal speed (up to one's normal), or an elemental jutsu allowance of plus one (up to one's normal), while under the restrictions of Jujutsu • Shijihyouketsu [ Sorcery • Death Controller Possessing Blood ]. Immortality is rewarded with each successful kill, but all personal descriptives are and will forever be, lost.

Evergreen
Nobody truly knows where the Evergreen religion began, but all followers inherently have a gift with the world. In tune with nature, they frequently associate with elder sentient plant species such as the rainbow hued Jofuku flowers, the lesser sentient woody magnetic trees, and even the moulding shrooms on occasion--and at great personal risk. Frequent rituals include planting, botany activities, and reducing threats to nature to dust. Due to the small following, followers have developed a peculiar ability to share more than what Ninshuu can, but at the same time, not.
Effect: Converts the S - Rank mission's Korabo effects to that of engulfing a single PA of one's choosing, on one's profile. Provide an addendum to the PA that reads, 'Shared', in bold. This PA is accessible to all other thusly trained Evergreen members, when in relatively close proximity to each other, one mission per member. (i.e. perform multiple times for multiple members) The downside is that this PA is no longer usable when away from the collective group.

Shinto
Shinto (神道 Shintō), also kami-no-michi, is an indigenous religion of Japan and the people of Japan. It is defined as an action-centered religion, focused on ritual practices to be carried out diligently, to establish a connection between present-day Japan and its ancient past. Shinto practices were first recorded and codified in the written historical records of the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki in the 8th century. Still, these earliest Japanese writings do not refer to a unified "Shinto religion", but rather to a collection of native beliefs and mythology. Shinto today is a term that applies to the religion of public shrines devoted to the worship of a multitude of gods (kami), suited to various purposes such as war memorials and harvest festivals, and applies as well to various sectarian organizations. Practitioners express their diverse beliefs through a standard language and practice, adopting a similar style in dress and ritual, dating from around the time of the Nara and Heian periods.
Effects: Converts the E - and D - Rank missions' ryou to post reduction rewards for any Shinto related mission. (not necessarily just the job) The E - Rank provides a one-time 1 post reduction coupon, while the D - Rank provides a one-time 2 post reduction coupon. Coupons are stackable. All A.C. gain from jobs relating to Shinto are negated, including any missions where the coupons are used.

Buddhism
Buddhism /ˈbudɪzəm/ is a nontheistic religion or philosophy (Sanskrit: dharma; Pali: dhamma), that encompasses a variety of traditions, beliefs and practices largely based on teachings attributed to Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha ( "the awakened one" ). According to Buddhist tradition, the Buddha lived and taught in the eastern part of the Indian subcontinent sometime between the 6th and 4th centuries BCE. He is recognized by Buddhists as an awakened or enlightened teacher who shared his insights to help sentient beings end their suffering through the elimination of ignorance and craving. Buddhists believe that this is accomplished through direct understanding and the perception of dependent origination and the Four Noble Truths. The ultimate goal of Buddhism is the attainment of the sublime state of Nirvana, by practicing the Noble Eightfold Path (also known as the Middle Way), thus escaping what is seen as a cycle of suffering and rebirth.
Effect: Increases ability to Kai out of genjutsu by 1 rank, and decreases the chakra required to do so, by the same amount. On the flip side, violence is abhorred, and all missions ending with such will incur a one-half reduction to A.C. given, unless an equitable, peaceful end with all parties involved is achieved.

??
Do you have a culturally appropriate religion that you would like to see added?

Rank: C
Information: It takes a lot of time to grow spiritually, even with shinobi influence. Get yourself to a quiet, out of the way location, and then prepare yourself for some deep introspection!
Solo or Squad: Solo
Minimum Posts: 6 posts, meaning 3 to get there, and 3 to return, with at least 1 additional mission during the stay.
Note: Can be meditation, a lengthy ritual, helping with creating a new religious building, or more. For every two Journey of the Heart completions, the following training mission may be recompleted, past the normal max: ❥ Intermediate Training: Meditate.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Title: Clerical Work
Rank: B
Information: Doing the clerical work for your faith is a good step in the right direction. This involves dealing with the mail, interpreting poor hand writing on supply requests, running around and getting various folks to sign orders, maintaining any potential religious area, and doing a lot of book keeping. It may not seem very spiritual, but if this job isn't performed, a lot of folks will be out of basic necessities, food, and faith.
Solo or Squad: Solo
Minimum Posts: 5 posts, once on location.
Note: Does not give advancement credit. Instead, a special religious symbol is given, for enhancing with variable marbles, along with the normal ryou.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Title: Brief Ritual(s)
Rank: A
Information: Restricted to those of B-Rank Body, minimally, this requires performing a complex but brief ritual, or a series of much smaller ones. Devoting one's self entirely to the process, many agree that epiphanies, strange events, and weird activities occur during it.
Solo or Squad: Both
Minimum Posts: 9 posts, once on location.
Note: Does not give advancement credit. Instead, a special religious outfit is given, for enhancing with variable marbles, along with the normal ryou.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Title: Lengthy Ritual(s)
Rank: S
Information: Restricted to those of B-Rank Body, such a position is needed to show solidarity and trust to the highest of followers. Lengthy rituals may include day long holidays, week long retreats, sequestering of one's self, or going on even longer journeys. However it comes about, one's special religious symbol or outfit is needed, as provided by previous religious jobs. In essence, this is the fulfillment of religion itself.
Solo or Squad: Both
Minimum Posts: 14 posts
Note: Does not give advancement credit. Those interacted with, positively (defined by your religion), during the mission allow the user to accrue Korabo training with, even if the other does not have any major reacting interaction. This is a self attunement, to other people, animals, insects, other entities, and the world.
-_-_-_○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Special - Rank: Allows one to Korabo train with their special religious symbol or outfit's variable marble. Such an undertaking will then allow for the minimal inclusion of the marble's effect with jutsu, 'Slightly'. Incantations and other such multi-post rituals (when needed) will increase the effect's descriptive by one each, per post (no cap), reaching full efficiency at the sixth descriptive. While it may be more beneficial to do six or greater posts of rituals, most combat outcomes are decided within only a few. The upside is that with each additional participant, they may choose to have their descriptive added to yours, instead of theirs, so long as regular Korabo is trained ahead of time. Effects lay dormant until the marble is used. (i.e. per jutsu)
Example: A holy object held up after some Shunshin hand seals would allow the user to fog the area behind them, with greater effects the longer a ritual is performed beforehand. (using the Fog marble)
