[PRP] A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing (Henwas & Marinel)

The rest day found Henwas, as usual, speaking with his 'gang'. Perhaps they viewed him as friends but he saw them as pawns and tools to be used. He had assembled this group pretty soon after he and his twin were sent to Western by their mother. They were giving him a rundown of what they did, some showing a couple of things they had pilfered, they were not normally savory sort he hung out with anyways. It was an unsaid rule that if they fenced anything a portion of the marks they earned would be given to him.

"Alright boys, pay up." The marks were placed in his hand as they all moved about on their own. The group consisted of other candidates, weyrbrats and some apprentices in the Weyr. Henwas never did any of it on his own so there was no chance they would get caught and he always made sure to gain their loyalty so that they would not squeal on him either.

Once all of them were gone, Henwas pocketed the marks and moved through the back halls and towards the main area again. Huarwar didn't have a rest day today so he was by himself for once. With hands in his pockets he only barely noticed the blurry form of someone approaching on his right, thanks to the scar that ran across his eye and messed with the sight from it. Because of this, he ran straight into that person and a growl issued from his throat as he spoke. "Watch where you're going."

Marinel didn't notice how close he was to the other boy until he was bumped into. "Shards, I'm sorry!" He apologized. The other boy might've bumped into him, but it was still polite to apologize---oh, he wasn't a pretty sight, was he?

...but it was definitely best not to judge a book by it's cover. "I'm Marinel," he said then. "I was going to head to the kitchens for a bubblypie, want to come?"
