Amazon S3 Upload Quantity Limitation: Unlimited Library Limitation: Based on a fee. Amount varies on usage and your own personal budget rules. Thumbnails: No Edit Image Feature: No Folders: Unlimited indexing Changes FIle Name: No Sorting: No Private/Public Settings: Both, it depends on the parameters set. Calculators exist to work out your anticipated pricing, but again, you'd need to understand what the terminology was to work out the overall forecasted cost. Overall, the most important information you'd need is roughly how much storage you need, and roughly how much bandwith you expect to use per month. Additional Note: Significantly cheaper than standard webhosting but does require some set up. So long as your needs aren't too complicated it's not a difficult tool to use. Excellent service with renowned stability.
Cloudinary Upload Quantity Limitation: Unknown Library Limitation: 2 GB File Size Limitation: unknown Bandwidth Limitation 5 GB Thumbnails: No Edit Image Feature: Advanced Folders: Has folders and subfolders, they are a bit weird where they group everything into the previous folder though (ie. Sorting: Alphabetical Private/Public Settings: Unknown Interface: Medium to Difficult Secure Website: Yes Basic Cost: Free Anything Additional: Intended for business use, thus includes many complexities.
(More to come.)

Site: Nickpic Upload Quantity Limitation: So far unlimited - I uploaded up to 30 at a time Library Limitation: They say it's unlimited File Size Limitation: 8MB Bandwidth Limitation No limit Thumbnails: Unknown Edit Image Feature: Can resize upon upload - otherwise, no Folders: I believe you can only have general albums, no sub-albums Changes FIle Name: Scrambled Sorting: "Most Recent", "Oldest", "Most Viewed", "Most Liked" Private/Public Settings: Yes - they offer Private (you only), Semi-Private (only those with the link), Public Interface: Easy to use, though sometimes a little more of a hassle than Photobucket was Anything Additional: The only real issue I have with it is that once you click on an image in an album, there's no easy link to get back to the main page of that album. If that makes sense. It's a little less sleek than Photobucket was, for me at least.

Site: Imgur Upload Quantity Limitation: Currently Unlimited Library Limitation: Currently unlimited File Size Limitation: Unlimited - There's a limit, but an image can't hit it. Bandwidth Limitation Currently Unlimited Thumbnails: Yes, but better to use Gaia's features. Edit Image Feature: Yes Folders: Primary folders only. Changes File Name: Combination, it will maintain your original file name for sorting purposes, but it generates a unique one for external linking. Sorting: By Album, Time Uploaded, Original Filename, Descending/Ascending Private/Public Settings: Both Interface: Easy Anything Additional: Very stable and remains reliable, not great for people who really like to have subfolders within subfolders.
And for the folks who want something meatier... Site: Amazon S3 Upload Quantity Limitation: Unlimited Library Limitation: As much as you can pay for, default 5-15gb free for 12 months, after that it resets to 1gig and you pay for the rest. File Size Limitation: Unlimited Bandwidth Limitation Currently a limit of 15gbs free but this drops off after 12 months, after that it's something you pay for. Amount varies on usage and your own personal budget rules. Thumbnails: No, use gaia's inbuilt one if need be. Edit Image Feature: No Folders: They're called folders but it's actually indexing. Similar purpose but function differently. The amount you can have is unlimited and it can be done to a "sub-folder" and beyond level. Changes FIle Name: Maintains original file name. Sorting: None, sorting would be done via indexing. Private/Public Settings: Both, it depends on the parameters set. Interface: Challenging UI until given crash course. Average after crash course. Anything Additional: Significantly cheaper than standard webhosting but does require some set up. So long as your needs aren't too complicated it's not a difficult tool to use. Excellent service with renowned stability, but it is your responsibility to manage your own budgets and limits as it will scale automatically to meet your demands unless you tell it not to!

Sounds daunting, really isn't. I promise.
