Kuhasa chuckled at the enthusiastic response he got out of the girls, happy to be making such an interesting impression on them. Omisa was awed when Qisa confirmed that he read her mind and she scrambled forward, presenting herself to her father.
"Do me, do me!" she squeaked, "What am I thinking?"
Her nose scrunched up but instead of closing her eyes, she stared directly at Kuhasa-- and did her very, very best not to think about him reading her mind or how her nose was suddenly itchy or how she was standing so close and he was staring directly at her.
"Uhh.."
Kuhasa knew better than to push his luck.
"How about we see if any of you can read minds," he said, turning the tables on Omisa, "Maybe it's genetic. Er-- passed down to you because I'm your father."

Maditah, being an experienced mother, hadn't even broken stride as she deftly avoided stepping on any of her cubs, and now as they climbed over her she simply caught up Qisa and settled her in the crook of one forleg, ready for grooming without taking her attention off of the male.
"You are always welcome, Kuhasa." She replied easily, giving him a reasuring smile. "It does them good to socialise, and myself too." She chuckled low as Qisa made an escape attempt and corraled the cub back into place. "Don't be a stranger..." She studied him for a long moment, that half-smile still in place. "Maybe next time we can converse a little too, if these little ones give us the oppertunity." She caught Qisa a second time and rolled her eyes. "So energetic."
