The countryside, with no neighbors is so dry of culture... I'm shy, but I thrive on it. In sign language I knew the deaf/hard-at-hearing culture so much better than the sign language itself. sweatdrop

In CivRev, you can build temples and cathedrals and great wonders to produce culture. Or you can harvest Spice and Silk.

Living out in the country can have its pros and cons. The downside is that you do have to make a further trek than most to get anywhere to do anything fun. The plus side - you have a place to escape to from all of the craziness that happens in the city. I know because I live out in the country myself.
