Occasionally while on Gaia here, it keeps prompting a pop-up that attempts to get me to download "the newest version of Flash" which is actually a bunch of Malware. It's reaaally annoying.

Hasn't happened to me, but I use Ad Block Plus, so it's probably one of the ads that triggers it.

Yeah, it's happened to me a couple times in the past. I already have the most recent version of Flash, so I knew that it was a fake; not to mention, I wasn't doing anything that required Flash at the time, so that was a red flag too.

i have actually done that, and regretted it
but Microsoft keeps trying to trick me into accepting McAfee security even though it is horrible (and Mr. McAfee is even more so); they put up these screens where i cannot exit without taking some action, and that usually includes accepting McAfee unless i "opt out".
if that is not illegal, it should be
