At the sound of a piercing ringing, followed closely by the sound of a loud thud, Ichiro's shot open. In his half-awake stupor, he watched through clouded eyes as a panicked figure darted for the bathroom with a couple of items in hand. "Where's the fire?" Ichiro groggily spoke up, mostly to himself, as he heard the shower quickly come to life in the other room. Looking to the clock on the floor, he soon realized that it was the source of all the racket he heard and probably the reason why his new roommate was in a complete rush. "I wonder where he's gotta be so early?" Ichiro wondered, as he sat up on the edge of his bed, while giving his head a scratch. From the look of the hands on the clock face on the floor, it looked like there was only thirty munites before class was due to begin, but then, why was it still dark out? Ichiro gently began to rub the sleet from his before reaching over to retrive his PokeGEAR from off his nightstand. The shift in his weight on the bed was enough to wake his Snivy and Oddish who were resting together at the foot of his bed. Over the past week, those two pokemon had become close enough to fall asleep beside one another. It was cute friendship that seemed to be blooming between them.
Flipping open his PokeGEAR, Ichiro realized they still had a couple of hours yet before having to worry about getting to class. Why was his room mate, Aiden in such a hurry? Just as he had made the thought, Ichiro heard the door to the bathroom swing open and out came his room mate, collecting up his bag in a panic. Ichiro was about to ask him where he had to be before class when he a look of sudden realization seemed to overtake Aiden's features once he got a look outside. Ichiro couldn't help but stare back at Aiden curiously. Did he just realize that he had been in a panicked rush for no reason? Ichiro simply shrugged to himself. He thought about going back to sleep for an hour, but then decided against it. He was better off staying up rather than making himself more tired during the day. Getting up out of bed, his Pokemon watched as he retrived his school uniform from his bag and headed into the bathroom that Aiden had just come out of. Quickly, Ichiro got showered and dressed before brushing his teeth and combing his long hair. He hated how it had a tendency to get tangled in his sleep.
Upon leaving the bathroom, Ichiro was shocked to see that Aiden was already gone. He was about to ask him if he wanted to go the cafeteria and get breakfast together, but it seem Aiden may have had other places to be. No idea. Ichiro headed over his shoulder bag by his bed and removed Nazo's pokeball. He knew he couldn't carry about both pokemon with him adequately, so he decided to let his Oddish back into her pokeball, for which she did without complaint. Once his things had been sorted and collected, Ichiro lifted his Snivy up off the bed and placed the pokemon upon his shoulder where he liked to be. The Grass Snake, Tsutarja, didn't like walking too much because of his little legs, so Ichiro figured it was best to let him cling to his shoulder as he always did. Walking up to the unlocked door, Ichiro figured Aiden had probably left already and probably wasn't interested in going for breakfast, so Ichiro decided he lock the door behind him before he left. So after having good-bye to his three plush pokemon upon his bed, Ichiro was off, heading down the hall and soon across the campus for breakfast. Maybe if he was lucky, he'd caught back up with Phoebe.
