Big Trouble in Little Snag-A-Cup

Looking to the barely scratched flock, Reno lined Cloyster up for another flurry of rock blast before a surprise attack from one of the Talonflame hit Phemes from below, the Flare Blitz sending them careening into the forest floor. Cleaning the now seething Phemes from the floor to have her stand guard and prepare their next trick, Reno set Tesei back up on top of her and began to fire more Rock Blasts, trying to repel the birds from him and concentrate them in one location. Getting slammed off of Phemes' back by Talonflames hitting them with astounding speed, Reno finally looked to Phemes and ordered, "Time fer a Gravity spike!!"

Releasing the psychic energy she had been building up in preparation, the attack manifested itself as an intense increase in gravity in the central area the birds seemed to flying around, subjecting the ones that were currently located there to gravity intense enough to prevent their massive wings from helping them maintain their elevation. While they might be able to glide out of the area from full strength, the previously damaged birds were likely to fall out of the sky with little resistance. Firing Tesei's somewhat weaker Rock Blast at the location he had designated for the increased gravity, Reno aimed to knock the birds out of the sky and get a much simpler fight.

With all the birds dropping around Kain he couldn't pass the chance "HOLD ONTO YOUR SKINS!" Kain shouted as Cloven let out a massive surf flooding the area. Most of the birds fire was burn out and where unable to get back up. "Hehe nice one Cloven".

The water drained into the soil and off near by cliff's leaving the ground soggy and wet. "sorry if I hit either of you. at least we took out most of these bird brains" Kain said calming his uncontrollable senses.

Finally Kairi would come up beside Kain, Griselda letting out a bit of a growl as she stopped in her tracks and looked over to the other trainer. Kairi, still sitting on her Rhyhorn's back, looked over to her boyfriend and then to the bird Pokemon that lay before them. "So... How long do you think we have before they all get back up?" the redhead asked, seeing a couple birds beginning to stir, though they didn't seem to be getting up quite yet. Drao flew up higher, trying to see if any other flaming birds were coming their way. They didn't seem to be yet, but, one couldn't be too careful in these situations.

Despite the valiant efforts of Reno and Kain, some of the ground bound birds would rise again, the gravity normalized again to allow them to move. Taking off at the trainers rather than the Pokemon, the Fletchinders hoped a Brave Bird attack on the trainers would remove these intruders for the time.

Taking the flying tackle by the Fletchinder without any inclination to having noticed it, Reno laid back on the ground to allow himself to rest for a moment. "Tesei, keep'em away from them. Phemes, stay down with me and hope we both don't die in a fire." Reno halfheartedly ordered, awaiting the inevitable forest fire that their presence would likely cause. A few tears with Snagem taught you to expect those sorts of things.

The storming battle fly's out of control. Only the larger birds left to tear up the skies. Flame charges and brave birds shoot past Kain creating constant burst of wind pushing him back. One fiery blast thrown kain off his feet, his arms flailing holding the case, when a brave bird hits the case perfectly. The case in mid flight shatters and storms around. Landing in the center of the arch way the egg is out of site. Glass shattered all around the ground and the base and lid of the case just able to be seen.

His face at aww, his veins feel tight in the site of this horror. Unable to take his eyes off of the murder of innocence in front of him. Tears flow from his eyes hitting the ground like a thunderous rain.

Estelle mimics the action of her master tearing up and unable to bottle this fury. Jumping off of Kairi's shoulder trying to race towards the egg.

neither the two see the duel flame charges coming towards them with great force. The smoke fills the area like a snaking fog and only a Kain can be seen being shot like a canon backwards. Estelle still in the Smog.

When Estelle jumped, so did Azoth. Kairi made no attempt to grab the two Spinaraks, she understood just how upset they must be, tears filling her own eyes at the sight of what had just happened. Drao flew back down, landing on Kairi's shoulder again, silent. With the two spiders in the the smoke, Kairi held her breath, unsure as to if the two would be okay. Griselda stomped the ground a little, glaring at the birds that were in the sky peering down at the trainers and their Pokemon. There were flames beginning to show in the grass, and in the leaves of some of the trees, the attacks from the birds having gone overboard in their fury.

However, despite the despair, there was a glimmer of hope. As the smoke began to clear, light would be shining off the two Pokemon which had leaped to the ground in their panic for their child. When the glowing subsided, there would no longer be two Spinaraks, but instead, two Ariados that stood in their places. Now, who decided that it was a good idea to piss off the parents again?

Scrambling to his feet as the forest began to blaze in front of Kairi and Kain, Reno quickly returned Tesei before throwing out Tsuki. Looking tot eh Weavile, he motioned her forward to go flying through the smoke at extreme speeds, letting the Quick Attack fend off the Fletchinders and Talonflames that he could not spot int he smoke as it cleared to reveal the twin Ariadoses. Tapping Phemes' head to get her airborne, he motioned her over to where Kairi and Kain stood, attempting to drag them onboard. "We get out now before this whole place becomes a bloody bonfire. No questions, just move."

Reno's orders would fall flat as a pair of Talonflames, undeterred by the Weavile currently streaking through the air. dove at the two newly evolved Pokemon with Flare Blitzs that aimed to fry the poor Bug types.

In her rage Estelle jumped head on and collided with the talonflame using a cross poison throwing them both back. Crying the entire time she dashed towards the fire type ignoring her disadvantage. With a shadow sneak she burst-ed into the back of the talon flame pinning it to the ground. With one last sweep Estelle layed her bright purple fang's into the talon flame with a veno shock, injecting every last drop of her toxin into the bird.

Kain, ignoring reno's demand, ran towards the shattered scene, during the rage of his spider, to check and see if there was any chance the egg was alright. His eye widened at the what he saw, quickly turning "Kairi come see this!"

Azoth had been distracted watching Estelle for a moment, and took the Flare Blitz head on, causing the spider to fall to the ground. He struggled for a moment to get up before glaring at the Talonflame that had attacked him, purple eyes glowing, giving off a lighter purple light. That light would ensnare the Talonflame, the Psychic attack causing it a great deal of pain. The Talonflame called out once before it struggled to get out of the grasp of the Psychic energy. Finally breaking free, it came down on Azoth with a Brave Bird. Once again, Azoth would take the attack head on. However, this time he would clamp down on the Talonflame's throat, using Leech Life in an attempt to heal himself even a small amount. The Scorching Pokemon would retaliate with a Steel Wing, attempting to get the Ariados off of it. Azoth held his ground though and scuttled into the shadows to come up behind the Talonflame with a Shadow Sneak, landing on the bird's back and driving it down into the ground when it attempted to lift itself into the air. Realizing it had been defeated, the Talonflame stopped struggling, glaring at the Ariados but making no further attempts to attack. Seeing that the bird was no longer objecting, Azoth crawled over to Estelle, limping as he did so from the pain of the damage he had taken. He chattered at her, trying to get her attention to calm her down. He was upset too, but... He could see the trees bursting into flames around them, and he was more concerned for the other Ariados than anything else at this particular moment.

Kairi climbed down from Griselda's back, heading over to see what Kain was talking about. Her own eyes widened once she saw what it was. "Is that...?" Kairi didn't even have to finish the question. Another tree burst into flames, this time a bit closer to the group. "We really need to calm down Azoth and Estelle... And get out of here. Reno is right, it's too dangerous to stay here."

Looking between the growing flames and their current passenger listings as they continued to grow, Reno decided on a snap decision. Throwing a second Pokeball and quickly boarding Nova's back, he returned Tsuki to her Pokeball before roaring at the pair. "I hate to be the voice a reason among us, but we need ta get the hell outta here!" Not bothering to await a response, Reno took off into the sky and waved his arms in the air, the sound of rattling chains attracting the attention of the few remaining Flying types nearby. "You guys get the hell out! I'm gonna try and distract these bloody buzzards until you're clear!" Having finished giving the commands for his plan, Reno gave Noca a quick spur to send them flying away from the scene with a flurry of winged Pokemon in pursuit of the noisemaker.

"Im wrapping it up! Your right lets go!" With that Kain took ho and ran towards Reno's Metagross. Along the way he quickly snapped Cloven back up into his ball and called towards Estelle. "Hey Estelle! take a look here!" taking striding jump up onto to giant metal beast he turned around and revealed the baby spinirak wrapped up in his trench coats tail.

Eyes widened Estelle shot a web string strait against Phemes's side, and grabbed hold Azoth tightly.

the fire crept closer to the two bugs. The heat making them screech towards it.

"Reno get us out of here!"

Phemes would take off as the passengers boarded, taking off swiftly to float back towards the city as Reno continued to fly around on Nova's back. The attacking Talonflames would continue their attempts to take out the airborne trainer as he kept a Pokeball in his hand in preparation for them getting closer to the base. "Someone help me!!' The red haired channeler screamed, the smell of smoke burning away at his nostrils as his enhanced senses began to work against him.

Kairi had recalled all of her Pokemon except for Azoth, since he was currently snuggled up next to Estelle. The redheaded girl had climbed aboard Phemes before they all took off into the air. Hearing Reno call out for help, Kairi sent Drao out again, who immediately went chasing after one of the Talonflames that was currently attempting to knock Reno out of the air. The Murkrow would caw at them, attempting to Taunt them to attack him instead of the other redheaded trainer.

Estlle pulled the two hanging spiders up to the giant metal beast, laying down with a sigh.

"Hey Reno lets see how cloevn does," Kain shouted releasing cloven again,"Cloven use rock slide!".

the small croc landing out of his ball unleashed boulders from under, slaming into a few birds none of them have fallen though. Cloven doesn't so easily give up though. With a glimmer in his struck-en eye he lashed out a hydro pump landing head on with one of the fire birds. "Nice shot!" Cloven master sang.. The bird doused with water came at them with a brave bird missing and hitting phemes in the rear.

Looking to the Murkrow that was now attracting the Talonflames' attention, followed by the Totdile giving its best to attack the birds, Reno gripped down on Nova before manually pulling them into a vertical u-turn, sending them flying back towards the Murkrow and the Metagross. The Murkrow would be attacked by the Talonfalme it had attracted, knocking it out of the air for a moment before the red haired psychic managed to catch the small Flying type. Bringing them both closer to Phemes, Reno threw a third Pokeball onto his Pokemon's back and allowed his other Psychic type to make an appearance. "Kaiden, Teleport!" Reno shouted, waiting for the Kadabra to hopefully teleport them away.
