Hello there. I see you have found your way into the ranks of our organization. My name is unimportant, but you may be asking yourself where you are and what you've gotten yourself into. Well, you are in the base of the Silver Guard. We are an organization known for our services in the paid disposal of deathwalkers. Our name comes from the weapons we use, a special type of person called a vestec. Vestecs are distinguished by their silver hair. We keep their people safe within our organization in return to raise them and use them as our weapons when they reach the appropriate age. However, due to our intense training and lessons, the vestec must be placed in a squad with a handler, and two guards.

Handlers are distinguished by their blood red eyes that they have received since birth. Their jobs are to make sure their Vestec partner is stable and following the rules placed by our organization, if not, then responsibility is turned over to the two guards placed in the squad. They make sure the rules are enforced, and if their squad's vestec is out of control, it is their job to stop them, if at all possible. Our rules are simple...

1. Never kill a human.
2. No one in a squad is to fall in love with their Vestec.
3. The handler may only let their Vestec access their true strength three times a day.
4. Do not disobey the organization.

In a time of war and monsters, there are those that are more evil than the rest. A guild known as The Silver Guard keeps peace in these troubled times, for a fee of course. If their services weren’t so necessary, probably no one would put up with them, but they have weapons that no one else can acquire and they use them against the world’s deadliest enemies. The Deathwalkers. One can slip into town and eats the flesh of someone. Afterwards, they take on their appearance and continue to spread throughout town. After they eat their second person, another Deathwalker is formed. Thus, the town is steadily consumed until it is simply dust. And so of course, the Silver Guard is needed to keep the regular humans safe from the monsters that hunt them.

Squads of The Silver Guard- Squads are 4 person teams that travel about to rid villages of death walkers. Each squad is different in their own way and every squad has an insignia that defines them .

Guards of a 4 person Squad- There are typically two guards per squad. They are there to protect the Handler and their Vestec and enforce the rules. They have trained all their lives in The Silver Guard, and are at a certain level of strength, injected with a small amount of Deathwalker blood to give them a slight advantage when fighting either Deathwalkers or their own vestec until they are paired up together, then with a Handler and their Vestec. Guards can heal a little faster than normal humans, but not too much faster.

Handlers- Handlers were born with special abilities to unlock a vestec's true power. When they are born, they are found by The Silver Guard and raised within the guild's headquarters, as well as trained by elder handlers to hone their abilities until they are old enough, usually around the age 18, then paired with two guards and sent to find a Vestec partner. However, the Vestec and the Handler must be in complete harmony and meant for each other. If they are not, the Handler cannot activate their abilities. Handlers are rather strong as well, and can hold their own usually against one deathwalker at a time, but that is about their limit.

Vestec- The Vestec are a very delicate and fair race. However, they are still very powerful, as they are merely a different type of deathwalker. They do not crave human flesh, but they share the strength and speed of a Deathwalker, and are defined by their silver hair. They grow up in a secluded part of the Silver Guard's headquarters until a newly formed troop from The Silver Guard arrives, looking for their own Vestec. When a Vestec is right for a squad, everyone will know. They can never activate their powers alone, as it takes a large amount of energy out of them. For a Vestec to activate their powers, their Handler must kiss them. Since this takes so much energy from them, a Vestec can only use their powers three times a day. Vestec are strange creatures, looking in almost every way, as a normal human, except of course for their hair. But as they access their power, the begin to look more and more like monsters, depending on how much energy is used. When only a small amount of energy is use, their eyes turn white, like their Deathwalker counterparts, then their strength increases. When they are very close to looking like a deathwalker themselves, they must stop or they will become a monster that no longer looks human or deathwalker, these monsters are referred to as Fallen. What they look like at the point when they've become a Fallen, is different for every Vestec, but it is an inevitable end for all Vestec, so they request to be killed by the guards of their squad before they become the very thing they hate. When they are done using their powers, they can go back to normal by themselves, unless they've gone too far.

When it comes to making a Vestec fighter, there are two breeds, a defensive fighter and an attacker. Defensive fighters are much better at healing themselves by using their power. If a limb is lost and cannot be recovered, they can regenerate that limb over a period of 24 hours, if it is recovered, they can reattach it in a matter of hours. However Defensive fighters are the weaker fighters. Attackers are more powerful when it comes to fighting, but they are bad healers. If a limb is lost and cannot be recovered, they cannot regenerate that limb. If it is cleanly cut off however, they can reattach it by using their powers. Both sides can heal broken or shattered bones, just depends on what they are to how long it will take. Stab wounds are the same, but if any wound is too grave, both sides will die no matter what.

Fallen - Fallen are Vestec who reached their limits and were not killed by their squad. They are more powerful than a Vestec and a purebred deathwalker combined. Fallen roam the earth doing as they please and feasting on human flesh whenever it suits them, though they do eat normal food as well. Fallen can take the forms of normal humans and access their powers themselves when they want to, showing their true form for the monsters they've become. Since Fallen are nothing but Vestec that went past their limit, they still posess their special ability and the assignment of attacker or defender. Defenders can regenerate limbs in seconds if strong enough, and attackers are faster than could be imagined. Depending on how recently they've become a Fallen, they may or may not retain memories from their life before the incident. New Fallen never do, but after a few years of getting the hang of it, it comes back to them.

7. I would like it if you could at least have a paragraph per post. We can understand writer's block, but if it's not writer's block then YOU'RE BEING LAZY! >.< Come on, describe! A paragraph is only 4 to 5 sentences anyway! This is what being Lit is about!

Personality: Having been raised as a living weapon, Amaya has a very hard time connecting with others, especially humans. She is a very stubborn, driven individual that will protect her squad with an intense ferocity. There are times that Amaya will attempt to communicate with others and act like a normal person, though she is usually quick to shut down and completely shut others out if she is reminded of what she truly is.
Bio: Amaya grew up in the depths of the Silver Guard all her life, safe and secluded from the rest of the world. She learned everything she needed to there, and that training made her the way she is now. She became an orphan at 5, when both of her parent's squads were assigned to destroy a Fallen and were killed in the process. After losing her parents, Amaya trained even harder, excelling her skills well above the majority of her peers. Once she was assigned to a squad, Amaya quickly proved herself as the strongest female Vestec in the Guild, earning both the reputation and more importantly to Amaya, the occasional mission to kill a Fallen. It was always Amaya's mission after her parents' deaths to destroy any Fallen she crossed paths with, and though she pushes her power to the edge every fight with a Fallen, as soon as she recovers, the Silver Guard always sends her on another, calling her their little 'Experiment', though she doesn't know why.

Special Ability: Phantom- Can move very fast for a short burst in a short distance, leaving her image where she was, creating a phantom effect.

Bio: The silver guard is all Jake has ever known. He trained hard and long in order to be able to become a handler and to be assigned to a vestec. He didn't have any idea the amount of responsiblilty it was until he was finally given one. He is constantly trying to get Amaya to open up to people and become a bit more social, however she constantly shuts them out whenever she does try. He also realizes the seriousness of his assignment now that he has been out on several missions with her.
Relationship with Vestec: he likes to think of himself as her protector, though he is still trying to find another word to describe his relationship with her better.

Bio: Maverick was born into the Guard, from a young age he trained to be a guard. He was gifted in swordplay even at a young age and has since become a master with swords and daggers. He is trained in unarmed combat as well just incase. When he was finally inducted into a squad he was very excited. He now gives his all to his squad.

Personality: Very quiet and reserved, Rikiya thinks everything out before he takes action. If you bore him, he will simply dispose of you without playing, but if you present a challenge to him, he will drag out a fight and most likely talk then.
Bio: Rikiya became one of the first Fallen. He easily dispatched anyone that was sent to kill him. It's not that he unintentionally lost control or anything, Rikiya merely became bored with his monotonous lifestyle and surpassed his limit on his own. Eventually, Amaya's mother was sent to take out Rikiya. She failed several times and by the third encounter, became the Fallen's prisoner. Oddly enough, an intense romance sparked between the two, and Rikiya let her go, enjoying this game they now seemed to play all too often.

However, around the same time that Amaya'a mother became pregnant with Amaya, she had been paired up with another male Vestec to breed. It was assumed until Amaya was actually about three years old, that the child belonged to the male. But as soon as Amaya began to show certain features, it was obvious who the father was. The Silver Guard let it slip by until Amaya was about five, then they revealed once and for all who the child's true father was to Amaya's 'father'. He slayed Amaya's mother, furious for being lied to by the woman, but the Silver Guard had also informed Rikiya of what had occurred. Enraged over his love's death, he slayed Amaya's 'father' but then seemed to disappear for a long time, only whispers occasionally appearing of where the male might be. He stayed in the background and watched his daughter grow to a powerful adult, but now he seems tired of hiding.
