"Excellent! Just keep practicing it, and it will have the force you want. Now, for roundhouse kicks.."Leon continued teaching her basic movements and attacks until she had a good understanding of how Taekwondo was intended to operate in execution. Callisto picked things up faster than Leon expected, and soon, he felt he could have a basic level spar with her. "Well done! You learned this a lot faster than any of my students at home! But, I think thats a good spot to end for today."Leon was ecstatic that Callisto took such an interest in the martial art he spent his life learning. He sat down against the cave wall, looking at the crystals. Unfortunately, he began coughing, with a bit of increasing violence. He covered his mouth, as not to be rude. He continued until a tad bit of blood came out, alarming him. He quickly hid his hand from Callisto, not wanting to freak her out. "Uh...H-Hey, we should head back to the hotel, don't you think?"

Callisto Piscis-Piscis Adventurous Mermaid Callisto beamed at his approval, quite pleased with herself that she was able to exceed his expectations. "Okay!" She agreed, knowing that the both of them could keep training for longer but that just because they could didn't mean that was what they should do. Maybe it also had something to do with the limitations of the human body? Although she didn't know much about that either. All of their training had allowed her to work up a sweat which she was also happy about. On her own, outside of the water, she'd not been able to find a good way to work her land-legs. It was an added bonus that his training worked more than just her lower body, which was more than she'd thought it would. But as she recalled his bare torso, it made sense that it would.
She happily sat down next to him, about to speak when her thoughts were interrupted by his coughing. She didn't think anything of it at first until it went on for longer than she'd thought it would and sounded worse and worse. She put a hand on his shoulder, then pat his back. "Are you sick?" She asked, concerned that maybe he'd come down with something. She noticed that he wasn't expecting it either, based on how worried he looked. But the word sick reminded her of what he'd told her about his unusual technique. Being right next to him, she was able to smell blood close by. Knowing that he'd accidentally cut his feet up before, she glanced down to see if that was where the smell was coming from. "Is... Is this because of your Soul of Focus?" She asked, unsure if she'd guessed correctly but becoming worried herself even before she'd voiced her concern.
She looked at him sternly for once, determined to act if she needed to. This was entirely foreign to her. Becoming sick because of an unnatural-looking technique. If it was more than just a cough it would also be her first time being around a sick human.

"I-I'm sorry....It's just hurting me a tad bit. Nothing serious."Leon poured a little water on his hands to clean them. Afterward, he took a breath, and looked at Callisto, smiling. "I'm fine, I promise. That just happens sometimes after I use Soul of Focus. Although, it's usually far worse than this...something about this cave, it seems like I can control it better."

Callisto Piscis-Piscis Adventurous Mermaid Callisto frowned softly and remained quiet whilst she took a moment to process this unpleasant reality. She knew already that this would happen, as he'd been open and honest with her when explaining it. She didn't want to accept that it would be this soon. Thinking about it had upset her but she thought she'd be able to cope with it when it happened. This was important to him. His main aspiration in life or at least a big part of it. So, she did her utmost to avoid complaining, though she couldn't help feeling upset. It took quite a lot of will power to keep thoughts like these from spilling out. He was nervous and obviously needed rest. Past experience had drilled into her head that for situations like these a deeper conversation would just have to wait. She rose to her feet with ease and turned to extend a hand down to help him up. "Let's go back for now. Can you walk?" She was ready to carry him if she needed to. She was fairly confident that she could since she'd been able to throw him pretty easily before.

Leon looked up at Callisto's hand, shakily taking it. He attempted to stand up, but failed, falling back on his butt. "I...might need a little more help..."He began coughing again, indicating his condition was getting worse.

Callisto Piscis-Piscis Adventurous Mermaid She was shocked that he'd become so weak, so quickly. Only moments ago he'd been perfectly fine and teaching her. It was so alarming that without another moment wasted she swiftly stepped over to his side and slipped her arms underneath him. With one hand under his knees and the other underneath his armpit, she pulled him against herself and lifted him from the ground. She hurried to make her way out of the caves with him, hoping that her speed would somehow keep his condition from getting any worse than it already was.

For some time, the area was quiet, those maintaining a perimeter within the cave were alert for signs of activity at the entrance to the cave. Sometime later in the day one of their patrols returns with them a prisoner and they moved further into the cave to one of the holding cells they erected and chained him to the wall of the cell keeping him restrained and unable to move. At that they left leaving him be for a time awaiting the moment their prisoner awoke. “Private inform interrogations we have a HVT detained we need assistance with the target” the man close to comms equipment nodded and started relaying the information to the main base. As Wind starts to come to, he is greeted with a searing pain to his left arm as a weighted Mace slammed into it shattering bone “wake up!” was all that was said as his blurred vision got sight of a man in a set of heavy armor and equipment off to the side likely for torture “I doubt you’ve got any information we want but considering where you came from you’ll do, we want the layout of the castle and the total number of occupants, but do resist a little else what fun would it be to torture you especially after pulling out all my tools to do just that” the Interrogator sneered as he spun around the Mace slamming into his left thigh causing massive impact damage to it. The man would pull out every piece of intel he wanted through his screams, torturing him as he used various tools to slice, pierce, cut and break. The screams of wind being tortured could be heard throughout the compound and even further beyond the compound throughout the cave system. An small woman was moving towards the cave entrance as she heard the screams from even outside and immediately knew what was going on and darted inside passed the guards at the checkpoint who barely caught sight of a very upset young woman rushing forward with blades drawn running into the holding cell catching the Interrogator in the middle of punching him with what looked to be Brass knuckles hitting him in the face as well as multiple times in the ribs. “That’s ENOUGH!” the interrogator was about to punch Wind again when he heard the voice and stopped what he was doing to look at who had interrupted his interrogation and seeing a very angry dog of war approaching him with swords drawn “I have orders to interrogate the prisoner before being handed over to the client” her eyes were of fire at this point and spoke “the orders were to keep them alive, killing him before he goes to the client will null and void our contract here, besides I don’t recall any standing orders for interrogators to be present who issued that order?” he hesitated a moment before he spoke up “Lieutenant Commander Varn” she sighed and replied immediately “your dismissed, I’ll deal with the lieutenant commander, Sergeant bring a medic in here and patch him up before he bleeds out, tend to any and all wounds” the Sergeant gave an acknowledgement and called for a medic to come. While they waited for the Medic to show up the woman approached Wind her size a mere four foot five and sheathed her swords before she placed a hand on his face “sorry dear, overzealous fools don’t know what they are in for when I report this to command, you weren’t supposed to be harmed, the client was very clear about that” she lightly tapped his cheek before stepping back to watch as the medic and one of the RRT suppressors came in and unchained him to treat his injuries which were severe and in some cases life threatening, it was clear he was going to need medical attention but the medic did what he could to treat and stabilize his condition so that he wasn’t immediately at risk of death. The sight of him Trey couldn’t help but think this was overkill and brutal, not what she was entirely expecting and that got her wondering what else was going on since she had been reassigned to this from the warehouse.

Unfortunately for the Interrogator, Wind was made of stronger stuff than he guessed. Wind refused to give up any information and took the beating. It was obvious from his physical condition that he'd been interrogated before, the medic easily noted previous injuries that were barely healed. And his leg... Well, there was the worry that he'd never walk on it again. The medic shook his head as Wind winced away from him and had to force the care that was needed, "I didn't sign on for this... I have no idea how he's still alive at this point... He's been interrogated before. I recognize the signs. If the client wants him intact, that idiot just ******** it up..." he reported to the female as he fished with the last bandage. Wind flinched away from every touch then curled up against the wall when the medic retreated from him. He was a bloody mess and just curled up around his pain right now. He mentally checked out. Completely at this point. He retreated into his mind. He somehow pulled his cat and his demon with him, part of him knowing that it would be a very bad idea for them to take charge. That left them with his wolf's mind. That gentle beast had him curling up against the wall and giving soft whimpers of fear and pain. While he might heal physically from this one, there would be a little debate of him recovering mentally this time... The client had wanted Wind intact for a reason, though... He'd even flinched away from the woman's touch, giving a fearful whine that was heartbreaking to hear. He couldn't stand for anyone to touch him right now. There was something about this cavern, though, that had the rest of the 'troops' on edge. There were hints of shadows that were spooky enough. But the worst was the fog that coated the ground. No one could find the source or the cause for it. It covered the ground throughout the entire cave system. Something about it had them jumping at shadows and even the simplest of sounds. It also had them doubting why they were here and what they were doing. None of them said anything openly, but it was becoming rather obvious that something was different about this place... The Interrogator finally moved back to the doorway and glared at the female, "I have to do my job and you're interfering with it. Quit coddling the little beast and let me get the information out of him. He'll get healed enough for the client when I'm done. You're not here to play with the targets, Dog..." he growled out then gave an amused smirk, "Besides... He's slotted for the client to do worse than I'm planning, so what's the point of protecting him now? He's a flakey little mutt that no one's going to miss and he's going to die in the end anyway..." he pointed out, not caring what she thought about it. After dealing that blow, he turned and headed to the area they'd set up for meals and got something to eat while he waited her out. Wind flinched back at the voice. Only the chains, cuffs, and collar kept him from shifting into his wolf form. They were laced with enough silver and gold to keep him in human form. But they couldn't keep him from reacting in pure fear right now...

Trey watched the interrogator leave them be, she was already torn from the news given and watching the man in front of her left her uncertain about anything. She stood there watching fully aware of the fact that she was being waited out until she simply gave up but that wasn’t something she was prepared to do, if anything she would secure the room until she could get him someplace safe, well safer than here and less likely to be beaten before the contract could be completed. Trey sat down on the floor almost like a child her demeanor wasn’t at all anything threatening, and she made it apparent that she wasn’t going to hurt him. As she sat there, she couldn’t but feel sad but also angry for what they had done to him, and as she sat, she sighed deeply lowering her head as she contemplated on what she was going to do. Without realizing it she saw a noticeable change in his mood, fear? Why would he be fearful of her, but it wasn’t immediately clear to her before she blacked out, her rage had peeked to a point that her eyes had changed a deep red when she had looked at him. Her form changed immediately to her wolf form in all its quirks, the main being that it was clear she had demon blood running through her veins as the parts of her wolf form took on a demonic appearance. She stood there after the change and regarded him for a moment a tear ran down her left side of her face as she turned and left the cell slamming the door shut and sealing it preventing anyone from getting into the cell with ease. Without any hesitation she went to work clearing out those who meant him harm her wanton disregard for her safety considering they had equipment to deal with her but that mattered little, they had no time to react as she moved through the base to slaughter all she caught sight of. Few had time to react and fewer still had time to utilize the preventative countermeasure when dealing with Trey, but with no chance of success at this point Trey slaughtered them before she ran out of steam from being hit with a inhibiter which was designed specifically to knock her out and pull her out of a frenzy like this, the inhibiter didn’t work fast enough or they didn’t put enough shots into her with it to cause an immediate reaction to it. Whatever the case was she fell after killing the interrogator and those in the mess hall with him and simply fell to the ground unconscious.

Wind had flinched back at each noise that was made, shivering in total terror. As he'd already shown Egan, his wolf was terrified all the time and this didn't help with that. His cat was out for blood and his demon was only concerned with the next orgy, so Wind had pulled them into the back of his mind with him, leaving the wolf to deal with the torture. While it might not seem like the best thing to do, he knew that the wolf was the best for the situation. He just hoped that he'd be able come out of this sane. He didn't think that was possible this time, though... As Trey passed out, some of the green mist that flowed over the floor moved into her. Somehow, it cleared her system of the inhibitor as well as the stuff they'd used to condition her. It gave her a faster recovery time. It also allowed her to be able to think better when she woke up. Of course, she'd managed to kill most of the force in the cave system before she'd gone down... Cain led Falmon and Egan to the entrance of the caves and put a finger to his lips before he pulled his shortsword and started moving inside on silent feet. While he was clumsy most of the time, he was now showing a surprising grace and fluidity of movement that one would expect from a vampire. He moved through the caves and paused when he found the first dead body but kept moving. He found the first of the living troops and instantly moved to take them out silently. Whenever one of them turned to look for one of their number, all they found was a dead body. Until they were down to just Trey. Cain paused at her and frowned but left her alone as he moved to the door that had Wind inside of it. He looked at the male chained to the wall and winced hard, "We need the keys. Search the bodies. One of them has to have the keys. Egan, stay with him. Try to pull him out of that enough that we can help him out of here..." he said softly, finding that he wanted to kill all of them all over again....

Falmon moved with a pace that was nimble, he moved gracefully through the woods without slowing and his form showed the true strength he had. Once they got to the cave and started moving through his pace didn’t betray his prowess in moving with a purpose but silently, and as Cain dispatched troops that were still alive from whatever slaughter had occurred he dealt with any stragglers that he didn’t get and when the time came to deal with freeing wind he shook his head and simply walked into the cell with Wind and Egan pausing for a moment to look at Wind in his poor state ad growled slightly before he reached for the chains and shackles and simply pried them open, freeing him without to much effort and then sighed slightly before he moved on and went into the room where the woman was laying, he’d picked up on a wolf but also a demon she was an odd one but she was alive and barely coming to when he knelt down and simply picked her up and slung her over his shoulder and simply moved her someplace safer before he found a blanket and simply covered her up, whatever happened to her she was coming out of it but the injectors protruding from her abdomen and shoulder made him think perhaps drugs to knock her out or something to that affect and from the slaughter she was the one who’d created the mess before they had arrived. Trey for a time didn’t react to anything as she was trying to get her bearings. Seeing the Wolf standing there confused her, thinking one of the others at first but as she looked at him she realized he was very different when she saw his tail move and spoke up “who are you?” was all she said as she fully wrapped the blanket and watched the wolf who just shook his head and lifted a finger to wait. She sighed and stood up her and made her way to the cell and found it occupied by two other men that she didn’t recognize, and just spoke up “I’m guessing you’re here for him, I didn’t stop them in time before they did some real damage, I’m sorry, but he need medical attention, he’s stable but I don’t know for how long” she leaned up against the wall as she recovered from everything surprisingly quickly what did that, she couldn’t say for sure.

Cain gave Falmon a nod of thanks for bringing the female into the cell. It made things easier in the end. He assessed her briefly and considered the numerous sources he'd researched over the years, "Interesting... A forced-hybrid... I'd be interested to learn your story, if you're willing to tell it. But later... For now... Wind..." he kept his eyes on Egan as the male approached Wind. At first, Wind flinched back from everyone. He even whimpered when Falmon broke the collar and chains on him then cowered back against the wall. But when Egan approached, it was his scent that helped him. He didn't flinch away from Egan. He reached out to him briefly then shifted to his wolf form, his tail tucked up under him as he tried to crawl into Egan. He did whimper in pain when Egan picked him up but didn't protest it otherwise. Cain gave Egan a nod, "We'll get him up to the castle. There's an elf... Um.... Arqden, I think is her name... In a pinch, I think Ash can heal some of him... But I know Arqden is a healer... She's been researching more of it lately..." he explained to him before turning to the female. "Is there something you can put on here? We can get you more clothes up at the castle when we get there. But I think you need to come with us. From the note I got earlier, there are more of you here on the island. Four so far, maybe five. Also, there's another one that got out a long time ago that most of the residents on the island know by a different identity. For now... For now, come with us and see what the others have to say to you. But we have to get Wind to that healer now. Leave the bodies be. They'll get taken care of," he said to her and the others. He gave a nod as Egan simply carried Wind outside then towards the castle, knowing that the servants would direct him directly to Arqden and Ash when they saw Wind. But once they were gone, he shook his head and winced at Wind's condition, "I hope he comes out of this one mentally intact... But I'm not sure it'll happen that way this time... After what happened the last time..." he finally gave a heavy sigh and shook his head as he cleaned off his blades and sheathed them.

Trey looked at Cain and just grinned “clothes small enough for me hardly, I’ll make do with my own fur” she kept the blanket around her as she collected what little gear she had and just made sure everything was alright before she shifted instantly. She may have been small, but she was of good size when she was a wolf which was accentuated by her demonic qualities that showed in quite a few places. She looked at them briefly before she checked her gear once again, and then nodded at them to lead the way. Falmon watched her change and was surprised he had never seen anything like her before, something he was going to have to inquire about at some point when things settled down and just placed a hand on Cain’s shoulder before he started making his way out of the cave and back to the castle Trey followed close behind just as curious about him as she followed.
