Ilea moved into her rooms and paused inside of her bedroom as her mind flashed with memories of Shale. She didn't notice her tears as she moved towards the bathroom and started the water running.
The golem she wore as clothing slid from her to move through the water as she followed it. She went through the motions of getting clean before she finally felt the full weight of the loss.
She broke down and cried fully, sobbing and even screaming a few times. The golem that acted as armor and clothing for her wasn't very smart, but it had enough intelligence to empty the tub and wrap around her as if offering what comfort it could.
Eventually, she used a rag to clean her bloody tears and worked at shutting down enough to get out of the tub and let the golem choose her outfit. It shifted to full leather pants, flat knee high boots, a full leather shirt, and fingerless gloves. She pulled her hair back in a tight braid that looked a bit severe but still showed off how beautiful she was.
Yes, she was basically wearing leather armor but it looked more like fetish wear than something for battle. It was psychological armor in a way, showing that she felt vulnerable and needed to protect herself somehow.
She finally took in a deep breath and held it for a moment before releasing it slowly and considering her new situation.
Family... He'd hugged her to try to explain it to her. She still didn't understand it but... She'd see what else he showed her. Hopefully it would make sense eventually.
Before she left her rooms, she crossed to the nightstand and touched the box that held her daggers, the ones that Goh had given to her then tore to fragments when she'd left him. After a brief moment, she picked up the box and left to go downstairs.
