Quote:
Descent into Madness - Hard RP-based.

Insanity. What is it like to be truly, utterly insane? There is no answer. Well. Actually, there might be. There are several Pokemon teetering on what seems to be madness. Spinda, Wobbafet, female Mr. Mime, and so on and so forth. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to. Break your sanity, and somehow piece it all back together. These Pokemon exist in everyday life, so learn from them. What you study and how you do it and come back is up to you. You don't even have to use the Pokemon suggested above, it's all up to you how to get there and come back. Be sure to thoroughly record your maddened state somehow.

Objective:
Become insane, come back sane.

Opposition:
None, unless you want some kind.

Pokemon:
You may get an egg if the mission was good.

Rewards:
This one is all RP. It's all on you, so let it rain, and thus let rewards rain on you. aka: RP well, get better rewards.

Seth looked over the Mission Board, but couldn't find anything, so he headed over to the dusty old Filing Cabinet to find something that could at least capture his interest for a short time. Looking through, he found several things that could be quite fun, but for now, he settled on one.
'Descent Into Madness...? Sounds freaky. I'll go check it out.' Pulling the file from the Cabinet, he began to read. It noted several odd Pokemon that should not, but do, exist. 'So I have to go completely nuts, and then have it recorded? Hmm...' Thinking to himself for a moment, he believed he would be able to hook up his SNAG to Zap so he could have it all on video. The little thing was basically a mobile battery pack, so it should work, right? He pulled the Pokeball containing Zap from his wrist guard, where he would be keeping the Pokemon he carried with him. Bringing Zap out, it cried out in astonishment. 'Magnemite! Maaag!' Seth put his hand on the top of his Pokemon, with two fingers on each side of the screw, and his thumb rubbing the "eye". 'It's alright, Zap. I just need to hook this up to you, so you can help me with a mission, alright?' He smiled slightly, and took off his SNAG device. He placed the recorder part in one of Zap's magnets, and wound the wires around the screw, simulating it still being on his head. 'There, we're all set for you and I to have a crazy adventure! But, what's an adventure without your friend, right?' Seth pulled the other Pokeball out from his wrist guard, and let out Afterburner, his Charmander he'd recently Snagged. 'Char! Charmander Char Char!' Seth's not-so-faithful Charmander appeared out of the Pokeball. 'Alright, I need the both of you to make sure that I don't go too far over the edge. But, Afterburner, that does not mean that you use your abilities on me.' He nodded, and motioned for them to follow him.

When they reached a Pokemon Center, the Nurse wondered what they were doing there. 'I'm actually researching for a friend of mine. I'm looking for either a Wobbuffet, or possibly a Spinda. Do you know where I could find one, ma'am?' The nurse pointed him towards a room somewhere near the back of the building. Thanking her, Seth made his way towards it. Arriving at the room, he found that it was something like a Solitary Confinement cell, complete with 5-inch thick steel door, padded walls, and straitjacket for the prisoner - a Shiny Wobbuffet.

'Wobbuffet!' The Wobbuffet noticed immediately when Seth entered the room. 'Wooooooobbuffeeeeeeet...' The assumed mental patient began rocking back and forth, it's eyes glowing a creepy golden-yellow. As Seth watched, his eyes began to get heavy, and Zap and Afterburner saw him begin to sway in time with the Wobbuffet. Afterburner stood closer to the wall, keeping his eyes on Seth. Zap activated the SNAG device, beginning to record the insanity that would follow.

Seth, in the confines of his mind, saw the Wobbuffet come to him. 'You are not who you say you are... Snagger... You should not be here.' Somehow, in his mind, the Pokemon was able to speak to him as a normal human would. This was unprecedented! Seth would have to remember this after he escaped from the-- 'You will not remember this, Human Snagger. Your actions will not be tolerated, using my plight as fodder for your human research.'

Seth's eyes, in reality, finished glazing over, and he dropped to the floor. He would begin to mumble 'Wobbuffet... Talking... My head... Aaaah...' and would then seem to go unconscious. Zap and Afterburner began to worry about him at this point, not truly knowing what was happening, in the slightest. With their Trainer incapacitated, Zap blurted out. 'Oh, crap, oh crap, oh crap! What do we do, Afterburner? Seth's out cold! And that Wobbuffet's messing with him, big time!' Zap swiveled his body to look at Afterburner, who shrugged and said nothing.

Back in his mind, Seth was beginning to question the Wobbuffett, without speaking. Why was this happening? What did the Wobbuffet know about him? 'I know all about you,Seth, and everything that you shall be. You will become great, amongst the Snagger team. But, like all victories, it shall come at a great cost to you.' The Wobbuffet's form shivered within itself, making Seth feel uneasy. 'What's going on here? What are you doing to me?!' The Wobbuffet's form quivered more than before, and suddenly disappeared, leaving him alone in the confines of his subconscious. A couple of minutes later, he awoke, to find the Wobbuffet swaying as it was before, except he was on the ground. 'Magna-magnemite! Magnemiiiite!' Zap was overjoyed to see Seth standing, as if nothing had happened. He had everything on video that had happened outside of Seth's mind, but nothing on the inside. 'Augh, my head... I really hope that you got everything on video, Zap. I have one HELL of a headache.' Seth stretched out for a moment, before seeing Afterburner come over and tug on his leg. He let out a puff of smoke, showing that he was glad that he was alright. The Wobbuffet, however, had not stopped swaying. It began to lumber over to Seth, Zap, and Afterburner. 'Woooooobbuffeeeeet...' The creepy, shiny Pokemon came to Seth's side, and tapped him with it's tail. Immediately, Seth lost his headache, and looked around. 'What the hell? Where am I?' He looked down at Afterburner and up at Zap. Both simply shrugged, and Zap handed him his SNAG device. 'Thanks, Zap...' Seth smiled, somewhat skeptic of his adventure in here...

Later on that night, when he would watch the video on his SNAG, he would remember that he would have to give the video over to the Research Department, for analyzation. But, one thing he couldn't shake... What was up with that freaky Wobbuffet?

What if?

Difficulty: Varies

What if? A question people tend to ask themselves a lot through out life. Most of the time they wonder what if they never made an irreversible mistake, would their lives be better? Sometimes you are better off never knowing the answer to your question. Sometimes things happen for a reason that you cannot understand. But this is your chance to get an answer to your darkest question. I can't ensure you that you will like the answer though, so be careful what you ask.

Now you are probably wondering what the heck I'm talking about right? Well, I thought I would give Snagem a little "gift", I had issued a challenge to someone to capture one of every type of Unown there is. And that person was successful, now if you haven't guessed yet I plan to use the Unown's power to answer your questions. Below our HQ I have set up a stone slab lined room for the Unown to stay and rest, travel down there via the elevator if you wish to have your question answered.

One question is all it takes and the Unown will put you in a reality based on your question, maybe you would like to see the world if you never were born? Any question is acceptable, and don't worry, anything that happens in the what-if reality won't affect your true reality. The Unown only have the power to create a reality based on one simple question, so don't try to get too complicated. One last thing, when you are put into your reality you will be escorted around by one of the Unown so they may take you back when you are done, do not lose track of that Unown! If you lose your Unown escort there is little chance you will ever return home. Good luck, and I pray for you.

(Disclaimer: This mission is just for fun, so go crazy!)

Objective
---Go to the Unown and ask your "what if" question, you will be taken to that reality. Do not lose your Unown escort! It's your ticket home. Also be warned that each Unown have their own...unique personalities.

Opposition
---You tell me.

Pokemon
---None, nothing can be taken out of this alternate reality.

Rewards
---Rewards will be based off the quality of your mission and question.

Seth had something in his head that he needed to do. He'd heard a rumor about an old Mission that was in the back of the Filing Cabinet. Something about Unown, and an alternate reality... Sounds interesting... Maybe I should check it out. When he went to the Cabinet, he had to really search for it. Way in the back, there was a leather-bound folder that contained old, yellowed out papers. It read 'What If?' at the top. 'Well... This looks like it's the thing...' He read over it, and then worked his way to the elevator. 'I don't know how well I'll be able to take you guys with me, so why don't you all wait back in my room?' He said as he let his Pokemon out for some air. 'Don't destroy anything, please... Or better yet, go play with Dakota and his Pokemon.' He smiled, knowing his Pokemon would have a fun break with his friend.

Taking the elevator down, Seth found the correct floor, containing the slabs lined up everywhere. 'Unown, I summon your power! I ask of you this question - What would have happened if I hadn't joined Team Snagem?' He felt a slight shake, as his question rang into the stone room. A light appeared, and a single Unown came to him. 'So, you're the one that wants to find something out, then? Alright, come with me.' The Unown spoke in human language, which astounded Seth. Really, both of my missions, and Pokemon are starting to talk to me? Following the Unown into the light that had mysteriously appeared, he found himself back home - back in Mahogany Town. He looked around, and saw the Unown he was supposed to follow. It was shaped like an L. 'So, you want to know what would happen if you never joined Snagem? Well, here's your chance. Why don't you take it?' It glared at him, somehow, and floated in front of him.

Seth went back to what was his house, and found his mother waiting for him. 'Oh, Seth! Honey, I was so worried about you! Where have you been?' She hugged him close, his face becoming buried in overly exposed cleavage. That was one of the reasons he left his home - all of his mother's clothes and all of her one night stands. 'Mom, I'm fine! Jeez, get off me!' He pushed her off, obviously getting annoyed. 'Okay, honey... So, where have you been, then, hmm? You have some explaining to do.' She stood with her hands on her hips. 'Heh, well, Mom, I've... I've been traveling with Rayne.' Rayne had been his best friend for years, but mere days before he'd left and joined Team Snagem, Rayne had been killed by a member of Team Cipher, which had prompted his joining of Snagem. 'I just came back to grab some things before we left again.' He lied to his mother with practised ease, knowing she was gullible enough to believe that. 'Okay baby. Don't be gone too long, now!' She planted a kiss on his forehead, obviously exciting the man who had peeked in the window on his walk by. 'You wanna get going, buddy? We've got stuff to do, and Rayne's waiting out there for you.' The Unown pointed towards the door, meaning his friend must still be alive, and it really had taken him into an alternate reality where he hadn't the reason to join Snagem. 'Alright, Mom, I'll see you sooner or later!' He waved, and left his house again.

Outside, he found his friend Rayne waiting for him. 'Hey, Seth, let's get going! We've got a big day ahead of us!' Rayne laughed and ran off, Seth following closely behind. A few minutes later, they'd left Mahogany Town, and were working their way as best as they could, since neither of them had Pokemon. They avoided any battles as best as they could, but when something tried to attack them, they simply scared it off. After a while, Rayne stopped walking. 'You ever wonder why we were never given Pokemon, Seth?' He turned, and looked kind of sad. But, in a flash, his face turned to anger, to rage. 'We should be given Pokemon too! In fact, we should go steal some. And I know just the place, too...' His eyes glinted with real evil in them, and Seth knew that his friend was more malicious than he'd ever believed. To steal a Pokemon without reason? I know it makes me a hypocrite, but to steal a Pokemon without reason to do so is wrong... But I do it for the greater good.

Rayne had begun walking, when Seth put a hand on his shoulder, causing him to turn. When he did, his jaw was slugged with a punch hard enough to knock a normal person out, but Rayne and Seth had been training, so it didn't knock him out. It just hurt a hell of a lot. While Rayne got back up, Seth heard the Unown talking. 'Well, you've got a nice arm. But you just made the wrong choice on the wrong day... Isn't it the worst, when those closest to you end up killing you...?' The Unown confused Seth until he felt something in his gut... Something sharp, and painful. He turned back forward, and saw that his best friend since childhood, Rayne, had stabbed him in the stomach. 'Why...?' He could barely squeak out the word. 'Because I deserve better.' Rayne spat on him as he fell, and then the Unown piped up again. 'Well, that was fun, wasn't it? But it's time I took you home. Your blood loss won't affect you there, but it's taught you quite the lesson, hasn't it?' A bright light appeared again, and Seth found himself once more in the Snagem basement, lying on the floor. He felt his stomach, trying to find the stab wound, but nothing was there. He lifted his shirt, looking for a scar. It was in vain. It was as if it had never happened. 'Well, that was a good workout for me... But, I think it's time for me to go back to sleep. Next time you ask me to do something, bring me something sweet, will you?' the Unown slipped back into the tablet, back to sleep. Seth took the elevator back up to the main area, and began to search for his Pokemon.

SubonicXP
Tier Advancement Mission #1

So you finally made it to the end of tier six huh? Just to think, not long ago you were a fresh member, having no clue on what you were doing, just starting to trainer your Pokemon, and you already made it this far. You might think you've hit the big time by getting all the way here and choosing to take on the advancement mission but you're about to learn otherwise if you don't take this seriously. But enough of my speech to instill dramatic effect, let's get on to the reason why you're here, and that's to prove you're worthy of advancing to tier five.

This is the first of several missions you will be required to advance to each tier, once you reach the final rank of a tier that is, fortunately you've already met that requirement and now feel that you are ready to advance, so good for you! Now, your mission is a simple one, in theory that is. Our headquarters is situated within Mt. Silver, as you should know by now, which is home to many fierce Pokemon that test the strength of trainers through out the world. Because of their immense strength compared to your average wild Pokemon, and their seclusion from humans, the Pokemon here can sometimes by rather dangerous. Despite all the warnings people are given about the dangers of Mt. Silver and the Pokemon that inhabit it, one group of hoodlums though have completely disregarded these warnings and could possibly endanger not only themselves, but others, which could include us. The group I mentioned call themselves Team Ninja, though they are really nothing more than a small group of adolescent trouble makers from Johto who take their pranks, and love of all things 'ninja-like' way too far.

So what are they doing exactly? Well there is a very elderly Scizor that lives in the forested area at the base of Mt. Silver. This particular Scizor is unique in the fact that it is what is called "shiny", as in it posseses an alternate coloration apart from normal Scizor, in this case, it's a yellowish green. Now normally there is no problem in capturing a wild Pokemon, but their target is the leader of a pack of Scyther that thrive in the forest and removing the Scizor from its habit could severly disturb the hostile Scyther of Mt. Silver. Not only that, but the shiny Scizor is very old, as mentioned earlier. It can't fight much on its own, and it's almost always accomanied by other Scyther, so for Team Ninja to obtain it they would have to go through many Scyther, further disturbing the area, and with us having our headquarters in Mt. Silver, this won't be good for us. Though don't worry about Team Ninja finding out about us being here, they aren't that bright.

Now, your mission is, if you choose to accept it, to location the ragtag group of adolescent punks and stop them from capturing the shiny Scizor and disturbing the wild Pokemon of Mt. Silver. These kids have absolutely no concern for the Pokemon of the mountain and only treat them as toys. Now if it wasn't obvious already Team Ninja specialize in ninja-like Pokemon such as Nincada and Zubat, so Fire and Psychic types will be beneficial. Team Ninja themselves aren't very strong and not that much of a threat, just very annoying and reckless in their actions. So do us all a favor and give these guys the boot off of our mountain.

Objective
- Prevent Team Ninja from capturing the shiny Scizor.
- Don't allow them to anger and rile up the Pokemon of the mountain.
- Send them packing.

Opposition
- Team Ninja of course. Going by their numbers I would imagine you would face at least two members of the group with between two and three first evolution Pokemon each. You may also have to face the leader, a red headed scarf wearing teenager named Takashi who uses three Pokemon, them being Nincada, Koffing, and Ninjask.

Pokemon
- You'll mostly encounter the wild Scyther of the mountain who are extremely active in protecting their leader. You may capture/snag one first stage Pokemon (Includes non-evolving)

Rewards
- Advancement to Bronze Snagger in Tier Five!
- Varies from there.

Seth accepted the new mission from Sub with a thank-you and a bow. He went back to his room and gathered up his Pokemon. 'Alright, guys, this is it. This is our chance at the big time. You guys ready?' Afterburner, Zap, Krypton, and Chan Li all jumped into the air, ready to go. 'Char!' 'Magnemite!' 'Gaastly, Gaaas...' 'Rogue Rogue!' Seth smiled, and gathered his Pokemon in his arms. 'I know we'll all do alright. I have faith in you all.' He put them each in their Pokeballs, which he had, in his boredom, painted in different colors based on their types. Afterburner had the normal red ball, Zap had a dark yellow colored ball, Krypton had an indigo ball, and Chan's ball was a brown color.

He gathered up his belongings, his SNAG, and he set out of the base, taking a quick look around, but nothing was in direct sight of the Team Snagem base. So, Team Ninja hasn't gotten here yet, it seems... He started walking, making sure that the Scythers that weren't part of the Scizor's group around here knew he was there to help them. They all knew Team Ninja was trying to capture their leader, so he enlisted a few of them, with some help from Chan Li, to find the members of Team Ninja a little faster. What he didn't account on was that he'd find one of the members sooner than he thought.

The first encounter with Team Ninja went rather smoothly. He seemed to be a new member, since he looked rather young, and only carried two Pokemon. First p was a Nincada, which was a Bug-Type Pokemon. With a quick Ember from Afterburner, the younger Trainer was forced to send out a Zubat. It took a little bit of work, some Scratches, Growls, and an Ember or two, but eventually the rival Team member was sent off of the mountain. Hearing rustling behind him, Seth turned to see something darting towards him, at a high speed. He jumped to the side and dodged just in time to see a large, snakelike Pokemon rise from the ground, where it had missed him. It was a Seviper, and a male from the looks of it. 'Sssssevipah!' The Pokemon hissed at them from a few yards away, and Seth had Afterburner use Ember again. The Seviper easily dodged the first shot, but a second one hit it dead in the face. It got burned, from the looks of it, and it was ANGRY. It charged at Afterburner and used Bite, and the Charmander took the hit, pretty hard. But, he took it like a champ, and it seemed to pump him up to fight even more. Another Ember shot and the Seviper seemed to be slowing down, so Seth took his chance, and threw a Fast Ball at it. A couple of seconds, and a couple of shakes later, the ball stopped moving, and Seth cheered, for he had a Seviper now! 'Alright Afterburner! You got us a new friend!' He smiled, and pulled out a Potion from his bag. He used it, and his Charmander immediately looked relieved and stronger. He picked up the Fast Ball, and started walking again.

A couple of minutes later, he could hear the sounds of battle, and it sounded like one of the battlers was a Scyther. He rushed towards the sound, and saw that a Team Ninja member with a couple of Pokemon standing behind him, another Nincada and a Zigzagoon, and the fighting Pokemon was another Zubat. Seth rushed up beside the wounded Scyther, and yelled across the battle. 'Hold it right there, you little punk!' He let out Zap, and yelled. 'Zap, use Thunderbolt!' With a flash, the Zubat nearly fried. Zap cheered at his first real battle, and then got serious again. To the side, Seth whispered to the Scyther. 'It'll all be fine, Scyther. Just rest now...' He smiled, then turned back to the battle. It seemed the Ninja member was shaking to see a Snagger here, but he had sent out his Zigzagoon. It used Tackle, and hit Zap, but the little metal guy took the hit and then returned with a Thunder Wave that would have made the legendary Red's Pikachu proud. The Zigzagoon couldn't move anymore, so the Ninja took it back and sent out his Nincada, which Seth could see was shaking and fearful. 'You treat them like toys, you little punk...' He withdrew his Magnemite, and walked over the field to the Ninja, who backed away. 'N-no, stay back!' He fumbled around for something, but couldn't find it in time, as Seth's wicked left hook connected with his face, immediately knocking him out cold. He turned to the remaining two Pokemon. 'Take the punk off the mountain, and then take your Pokeballs off of his belt, and go free.' He smiled at them, and then realized he'd completely not heard something...

There were a bunch of Scyther nearby, and he could hear another voice, and it sounded like a boy of about 12. He snuck around, and there were many Scyther nearby, and he could see the old yellow-green Scizor behind them. The boy was wearing a scarf over his head, so Seth assumed that this must be Takashi, the Ninja leader. 'TAKASHI! I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle!' He came out in full fledged glory, with each of his four Pokemon behind him, making him look like a great General, but in truth, he was shaking in his boots, because the Scythers looked very agitated. 'Well, then... It looks like we've got a Snagger. Don't go taking my Pokemon, you thief.' Takashi smirked and threw a Pokeball into the air, and out popped a Nincada. 'Let's see if you can handle this one!' Seth walked out and turned. 'So, who wants to try this one?' Afterburner simply shoved his way out to the front, and shot off an Ember before anyone could do anything. The Nincada flipped over, and landed in Takashi's arms, as it's trainer's mouth went agape. 'Well, I guess Afterburner's taking this one... Got anything better, you little hooligan?' Seth smiled and patted Afterburner on the head, and made sure he was still holding the Charcoal he had gotten from his first Mission. He was, and Takashi had thrown another Ball out. This time, a Koffing popped out of the ball. It used Smokescreen, to try and blind Afterburner, but he fired a couple of Ember shots out, and one lucky hit got the Koffing, but it didn't go down easy.

'Koffing, Explosion! Haaahahahaaha!!' Takashi's Koffing exploded, sending Afterburner flying. It dropped, fainted, but Afterburner wasn't looking too hot either. 'Char... Char...' His Charmander wouldn't be able to fight, unless he wanted to sacrifice himself. He put Afterburner back in his ball, and then saw that Takashi had sent out a Ninjask. 'Anything else for me, Snagger?' He laughed again and then Seth turned to his Pokemon. 'It's a long shot, but... Chan, I want you to try this battle.' His Tyrogue nodded, and ran out onto the field. The Ninja member saw the Tyrogue, and jumped for joy. 'Ooh! A Tyrogue~! I want it!' He was giddy, but Seth saw through it. 'Well, kid, you might get a Tyrogue if you found a willing donor!' He smiled, and Chan Li used Focus Energy, getting ready to fire off his Hi Jump Kick, when the Ninjask came over. It didn't, though, because it used Pin Missile. The Tyrogue didn't take much damage from it, but it was visible, so before the opponent could do anything else, he ran as fast as he could straight at the Ninjask, and jumped, and used his attack. The enemy Pokemon spun around in the air, and then fell to the ground, right after Chan Li did, in a theatrical martial arts fashion.

Smiling at his Trainer, Chan Li began to walk back over to Seth when all of a sudden a net fell around him. Takashi was trying to abduct him! Seth ran over, with a cry of 'No!' and then pulled on the net, before it got too far away. Takashi was strong, but Seth had the full of the net by him. The Scythers saw that Seth was trying to aid them, so one of them jumped out of the crowd and cut the net. Then, they gathered around Takashi in a tight circle, and stepped closer. A puddle formed on the ground where he was standing, and then he ran, crying, off of the mountain.

The Scyther tribe slashed the net so Chan Li could get out, and then began celebrating the victory by rubbing their bladed arms together. It made a music unlike any Seth had heard before, unlike what he had thought it would be. He would have to make sure he told someone about this when he got back to the base... He began to walk, when he felt something tap him. He turned, and the shiny Scizor was standing in front of him, and it bowed. Seth, seeing the respectful manner of the Pokemon, bowed back, and then turned back, towards the Snagem base.

Mission Complete!

Objectives Completed: Stop Team Ninja from capturing Scizor-sensei (Yeah, I added that, because I'm awesome).
Don't allow the opponents to anger the Pokemon of the mountain.
Send them packing. (How about crying, pissing themselves, and knocked out? LOL)

Seth entered the Snagem base, and laughed heartily. 'Do I have a story to tell!' He looked around for anyone to hear it, and when everyone was there, he explained everything, and that they needed to make a Scyther orchestra.

Dunas Westbrook
Mission: Press Button, Receive Pokemon

Difficulty: Easy-Medium

Well this makes some sense.

In addition to a rash of theft in various cities in the Johto region, devices have been popping up in cities. These booth-like objects are dispensers; for a fee, they'll distribute a Pokemon in a Pokeball, which is automatically registered as belonging to the buyer.

The problem is that the owner of the dispensers, a booming company called EngeCo., has been investigated thoroughly- there's no sign of any thievery or foul play, and indeed, the Pokemon dispensed from the machines seem to have very little in common with the ones that are stolen.

They're supposedly abandoned Pokemon, which have been put up for adoption- the idea is that in this way, the Pokemon are more easily adopted. Maybe it's true, maybe it isn't.

What I want you to do is discover the truth. Are the machines connected to the thefts? Are the thieves working for EngeCo? Or are the two completely unrelated?

EngeCo.'s CEO, Andrew Richards, has announced plans to expand into Kanto and Hoenn. If they're bad guys, we need to stop them before they can do that.

Objectives:
Investigate EngeCo., the Vending Machines, and the thefts as thoroughly as possible. If there's a connection between EngeCo. and the thefts, put an end to the company's public presence by proving it and taking them down. If not, stop the thieving, and clear EngeCo.'s name.

Opposition:
The thieves are likely to try and stop you- and if they're connected, EngeCo. will definitely send hired thugs to deal with you as well.

Pokemon:
You may snag one Pokemon available at your rank from the thieves, or capture one wild Pokemon.

Rewards:
Vary. You may receive an egg if you do an outstanding job on this mission.

Seth, with his newfound rank of Bronze Snagger, went back to the faithful Mission Locker, and searched for something-- 'Ah! This looks interesting. "Press Button... Recieve Pokemon?" Weird. Not the way I'd go about getting myself a good few Pokemon, but hey, people don't know what they don't know.' He looked at his SNAG and noted which Pokemon he'd be taking on this mission - Fang, definitely, since he protects him constantly and slithers around by his side. Afterburner, who was finally beginning to warm up to him. Krypton, who was still as mysterious as the Team Snagem leader who had given the Gastly to him. Zap, the faithful little Magnemite who never ceased to amaze him. Chan Li, the Tyrogue with an indomitable spirit. Each of his Pokemon listened well to the description of the mission, and then each of them, save Fang, went back into their balls. 'Sssseevipah!' Fang hissed, ready to go. 'Don't worry, Fang. I'm ready too.'

He left the base with his head held high, since he'd advanced and was now a full-fledged member of the Snagem team, and headed his way towards Azalea Town, where there had been multiple reports in the past week of Pokemon being stolen. Upon arrival, he began questioning the townsfolk, and Bugsy as well. No one had anything too helpful, but they said that Kurt, the man who made specialty Pokeballs, knew something about the thieves. Thanking them, he went to Kurt's home, and knocked on the door. 'Agh, ragh, what, hold on a second, hold-- Oh, you're a Trainer. Come in, come in!' Kurt changed his mood very quickly, when he saw the young Trainer at his door. He probably thought that he'd be here to have Kurt make some balls for him. Getting right down to business, Seth immediately began to ask questions. 'So, what do you know about the thieves that have been stealing Pokemon around here?' He rested his hands on his hips, and Seviper was coiled behind him, watching intently. 'What do I know? Hah! My grandson is the one who's leading those punks!' Kurt guffawed at the notion that Seth would defeat them, but the Seviper behind him began to change his mind with a sharp glare. 'Alright, so my grandson is leading the thieves. What else do you want?' Seth smiled, glad for Kurt's cooperation. 'Well, Kurt, aside from at some point maybe asking for some specialty Pokeballs...' Kurt's eyes lit up as he said this, and Seth continued. '...Do you know anything about an "EngeCo." with their Pokemon Dispensers?' Kurt spat on the ground when the words "EngeCo." left Seth's mouth. 'Those crooks hired my grandson and his hooligan friends to steal for them! They even gave him an executive position for doing all this for them. He almost stole Poke-poke here too!' He gestured to the Slowpoke behind him, which yawned. 'Yeah... Not a fan of... Thieves.' The Slowpoke spoke! Seth walked over to it and crouched down. 'Poke, do you know where the Thieves are based, still?' The Pokemon nodded, and pointed out the window. 'The thieves were based in the Well, but the company is over in Ecruteak City.' The Slowpoke yawned and succinctly fell asleep. 'Well, you heard it. Go kick my grandson's a** and we'll see what I can do for you.' Kurt nodded and Seth turned on his heels. 'I'll come back soon and I'll bring some Apricorns for you to make Pokeballs out of!' He waved, leaving, with Fang at his side.

On the road to Ecruteak, Seth was met by two men wearing dark red outfits. They introduced themselves as John and Clarisse. 'So, young man, I'll have to ask you to hand over that Seviper...' John smiled evilly and Clarisse continued, 'You see, we're in a bit of a rush, because we haven't met our quota, so even if we have to... Acquire your Pokemon, through force, we will.' Seth took a defensive position in front of his Seviper, but Fang wouldn't have it. He reared up all the way, and hissed at the thieves. Seth smiled, and then popped out Afterburner from his Pokeball. 'So, you're going to try and take them? You'll have to beat me first, you losers.' He put his SNAG in front of him and pushed a couple of buttons. Nothing would happen, but the thieves looked distraught. 'Rrgh, okay, punk, listen here, we will WIN!' John threw a ball and released a Drowzee, and Clarisse had thrown a ball containing a Koffing.

Seth let Afterburner and Fang take the field. With lightning speed, Fang used his Bite move and Afterburner had fired off a well-timed Ember, at Drowzee and Koffing respectively. The Drowzee took good damage from the bite, and staggered a bit, but the Koffing looked like it had only taken a hit. They returned fire with Psychic and Smog, both attacking Fang. The Smog attack did nothing, but Psychic had thrown him into the air. Being a clever Pokemon, Fang used that to his advantage and used Poison Tail, crashing down on the Drowzee's head. The Psychic-type couldn't take any more punishment after that, so John was forced to stay out of the rest of the battle. Afterburner tackled the Koffing to bring it down, and it tried to use Smokescreen to get away, but the Charmander already had it's sights set on the enemy. With one swift Ember shot at point blank range, the battle was ended. Seth, Fang, and Afterburner were the winners. With a sigh, the thieves had run off, and Seth was ready to keep moving. He tried to return Afterburner to his ball, but was blinded by a flash of light - Afterburner was evolving! A few seconds later, Seth opened his eyes, and was greeted by a dark red Pokemon about the height of his waist. Afterburner was now a Charmeleon.

No longer accepting going in his Pokeball, Afterburner traveled on foot with Fang and Seth now. Seth couldn't say he was ashamed of this, for the two Pokemon made for some very intimidating guards. Now coming into sight of Ecruteak City, Seth picked up the pace with his Pokemon trailing behind. They reached the city, and were assailed with questions about where he got his Pokemon, and if he would trade them for something else, or if they would be given to someone. He gladly explained how he got Afterburner and Fang, but the rest of the questions, he waved off. There would be no way he would give up his two star players. He began asking questions of his own, such as where he could find EngeCo.'s HQ. People scoffed at him and pointed him towards the building. Seth wasted no time, beelining towards the headquarters of his next target.

Inside, he was greeted by a seductively dressed secretary at the front counter, who tried to use her charms on him to make him give up Fang and Afterburner. 'Oh, now, don't you want to hand over those nice, strong Pokemon to me? You look like a tough boy, I think you could handle yourself without them.' She winked, leaning over the desk, and Seth's eyes momentarily drifted southward, but then he caught himself. 'Listen, lady, I know the drill. You try to charm me into giving up Fang and Afterburner here, and I walk out thinking some crazy-hot secretary is into me. Not happening. Now tell me where the executives are!' He would have continued, but she had stood up and pushed a button. The building alarm sounded, and the doors had sealed shut with a large, iron door. She stepped out from behind the desk, and a hologram appeared on the floor. It was a Pokemon Battle field! She sent out a Poliwag first, but Seth could see there were more Pokemon she had, from her necklace.

Seth sent out Zap, his Magnemite, and told him to use Thundershock. The Poliwag got out of the way and tried to use Splash, but everyone knows that's a useless move, so it did nothing. With another Thundershock, the weak Poliwag was down, and the secretary had sent out a Pidgeotto. Seth switched out Zap for Krypton at this point, eager to see the reaction on the woman's face when he won. The Pidgeotto used Aerial Ace, hitting Krypton pretty hard, but the Pokemon withstood it, and was able to use Confuse Ray. The Pidgeotto began flying around in circles, and when it tried to use another Aerial Ace, it flew into the iron door, hurting itself. Krypton then used Psychic and threw it against the opposite wall, taking it down to size. 'Gaastly, Gaaaaaas...' The Pidgeotto had knocked itself out, flying into the door again. The secretary was down to her last Pokemon, but she smiled and clapped. 'Alright, I give. You win. If you want to fight my last Pokemon, I'll send her out, but she's rather weak. I'd prefer she not get hurt.' She shrugged, trying to bluff him into letting her go. Her last Pokemon was one that her superiors did not know she had, and she didn't want to be caught with a Persian. 'Fine. Open the doors, and take your Pokemon. In fact, I think you should wait for me outside. I'll take you to a place where you can stay, and you can do some good for the world, instead of... Well, this.' He raised his arms, gesturing to the whole building. She bowed, and thanked him. 'Yes, I'll wait for you. But first, the executives are up three floors. You'll have to go through a couple of Scientists, and maybe another EngeCo. Executive before you get to Donovan... He's the one who brought the thieves here in the first place.' She gave him a hug, and then pressed the button, raising the doors and shutting off the alarm. That would help, because the others would think he'd been defeated.

He went up the first flight of stairs, and all was well on the second floor. There weren't any people around, but he saw that there were Pokemon in cages. Those fiends. Caging Pokemon isn't how you hold them. That's what Pokeballs are for. He thought furiously to himself as he went up the second flight of stairs. On the third floor, there were some scientists in his way, and one of them caught sight of him as he tried to sneak by. 'Hey, you! What are you doing?! This is a private area! Authorized personnel only!' The scientist saw his Pokemon and sent out his own, a Growlithe. Seth sent Fang over to fight him. The battle didn't last long, but it attracted some attention. Fang had used Bite and Poison Tail to take down the Growlithe with no problems, since it had only used Tail Whip. Another Scientist came over and took over the battle, sending out a Snorunt. It used Powder Snow, and Fang got a quick case of the chills. Seth switched him out for Afterburner, and quickly dispatched the Ice type with Ember. One final scientist came over, and he had the look of a boss around him. He sent out an Electabuzz, and it used Shockwave to hit Afterburner. It connected, but Afterburner, being the fighter he is, powered through it, and fired off Emb-- No, that wasn't Ember! That was Flamethrower! Afterburner was definitely getting stronger, because the Electabuzz took the hit, and one of his head antennae lit on fire. The Pokemon frantically tried to put it out, but he'd used enough time that Afterburner was able to fire off another shot of Flamethrower. The scientists were appalled at how they'd been defeated by a teenager. Each of them slumped away, with the sweatdrop effect implied on them.

Seth ascended the final flight of stairs, and reached the 4th floor. Upon entry, he was greeted by a door that was locked. A voice played on a speaker, and he recognized the secretary. 'Snagger, I'll open the door for you, in return for your kindness. I came back after I saw you'd left, to help you. I've been watching, and the scientists came down and offered to come with us as well when I explained what was going on.' He could hear the scientists agree in the background. 'My name is Sarah, by the way... Good luck.' With that, the door's keypad light turned green, and he was granted entry to the final floor. He saw three doors, one which led to a casual lounge, one that led to the office of the CEO, and one that led to the "Product Manager's Office". Seth would try that door, to find it locked. Not wanting to fail his mission after coming so far, he kicked in the door. Inside, there was a teenager of about his age, maybe a little older, who was sitting and playing video games. 'I knew you'd come eventually, Seth. I've been waiting for this day, for a long time, ever since you decided to run off and join that Team Snagem, instead of come steal the Professor's Pokemon with me. We would have been an amazing team...' The chair swiveled around, and who would be sitting there but Rayne, Seth's old best friend, who he knew would have stabbed him, killing him. 'You son of a... WHY?!' Seth was aghast at the exploits of who he had once called something like a brother. 'Oh, Seth, don't you know? It's much more fun being on the winning side...' Rayne laughed maniacally, and Seth brought up his bracer with his Pokeballs. Rayne's eyebrow raised at this. 'Oh, a Pokemon battle? And just how many of them are actually YOUR Pokemon? You know, being a Snagger is just the same thing as what I do, except more vigilante, more... Oh, we'll call it moral.' He brought up three balls. 'I'll let you pick who I start with in this fight. My Bayleef, my Electrike, or my Nidorina.' He gestured to the balls, now on the table. Seth pointed to the middle ball. 'So, it's Nidorina to start with? Alright, let's go.' He picked up all three balls, opened Nidorina's ball, and the other two were in his belt, all within two seconds. The table lowered to create an ideal battle space.

Seth sent out Chan Li to fight Nidorina, and the Tyrogue was definitely raring to go, after seeing his friends fight and not being able to himself. 'Tyrogue! Tyrogue!' Chan wasted no time in using Low Kick, hitting the Nidorina in a weak spot. It returned with Slam, hitting Chan Li into a wall, and taking damage from the impact itself. Chan wavered for a second, but when he shook his head, he was back to fighting. He used Focus Energy to charge up for a Hi Jump Kick, but he didn't get the chance to use it, because with another Slam from Nidorina, Chan Li was out cold. Seth switched him out with Fang, and Fang immediately used Poison Tail, taking out Nidorina without any problems. Rayne then sent out his Electrike. It used Growl to try and make Fang cower, but it returned with Scary Face, lowering the speed of the Electrike. Fang would now be able to move first, so he used Bite to begin whittling down the opponent. It looked like a decent hit, but the Electrike further lowered Fang's attack with Growl. The battle continued the same way until Fang finally used Poison Tail to finish it, almost doing no damage, yet finishing off Electrike. Having been heavily wounded, Seth switched out Fang for Afterburner. 'Chah-meleon!' The Charmeleon was ready for battle, and Rayne looked somewhat worried. 'Well, this is a pickle...' Seth heard him mutter under his breath as he let out the Bayleef. 'What, Meowth got your tongue?' He smirked and Afterburner used Flamethrower, giving Bayleef a reason to cry. Some serious damage was done, and Rayne freaked out. 'No, no, no! Don't hurt her anymore!' He moved in front of his Pokemon, tears forming in his eyes. 'I only started stealing because I knew I'd be going all over - I thought I would find you and I could leave! But then Andrew came along and offered me all this...' He lowered his head and closed his eyes for a moment longer than a standard blink, and then he was crying. 'Rayne, you know I can't let this go on. Where is Richards?' He pointed to the CEO office door, and Seth nodded. 'Sarah is coming with me, along with some scientists. Maybe you could come along as well?' He extended his hand to the crying boy, who looked up, and smiled, taking his hand and standing up, wiping his tears away. 'Definitely. They're all waiting, downstairs, aren't they?' Seth nodded again, and Rayne put Bayleef back in her Pokeball. 'I hope the Snaggers will be good to us all...' Rayne left his old office, eager to join with Seth and the Snaggers.

Mere moments passed between Rayne's exit and Seth discovering Andrew Richards, CEO of EngeCo. in his office, cowering behind his desk. 'I-I don't have any Pokemon! Please, spare me! I was only trying to help other people!' He begged at Seth's feet when he entered the office. 'You're going to close down EngeCo. and you're going to turn yourself in to the authorities.' The corrupt CEO nodded, and gave him a key. 'This is the key to the building. You'll be in charge of it... I'll go turn myself in now.' He sighed, and began walking. Seth was behind him, making sure he'd leave the building, and head to the police station, which was right across the street. When he was safely in the hands of the law, he turned around to face the secretary, Sarah, his regained friend, Rayne, and the three scientists who he had defeated. 'So, off to the Snaggers, then?' He smiled, and they all followed him back, intent on joining and now doing good for the world, and everyone in it.
