Kaori took a moment and tried to determine how much chakra she had gathered, and frowned. Was that a little- Kaori jerked as she went sailing off the platform once more. She didn't even protest, just got up, dusted herself off, and took several deep breaths before she began the climb back to the top of the platform. She was getting really tired of being smacked clean off of the platform. Her hair was an absolute disaster, and would take hours to straiten out and untangle. And her clothes were now filthy. If she looked like this, she would like to be able to say she had come from a good, heart wrenching, battle. Not been smacked around by a giant tiger of mythological status. She shook her head and took a deep breath, "Again." She snarled, irritated, though Toragetsu would be able to tell it was not at him, but rather at her perceived failure at being able to master the gathering of the appropriate amount of nature chakra. Toragetsu chuffed, the tiger version of a laugh as he watched her climb back onto the platform. (7/10)

Once more Kaori was on the platform that she was very much coming to hate. And once more she was attempting to fall into her meditative state. She could do this, she would do this. She would succeed and she would not get smacked off of the platform again. She breathed in through her mouth and out of her nose as she began to breathe on the seven count once more. It is nearly an instant thing now, her ability to connect to and feel the Nature chakra in the air around her. Now what she needed to be near instant was the ability to know how much was too much, and how much was not enough. It's not like this stuff came with a manual. That's what she needed Toragetsu for. And she would make this skill he's to manipulate as she saw fit. (8/10)

Kaori inhaled and exhaled, sinking deeper and deeper into her meditation, feeling the very air move across her skin, through her hair and over the flowers that had wound themselves around her tightly. The feeling was exhilarating, and more than just slightly terrifying, in it's own way. There was so much, almost too much. And not just chakra, but the feeling of being connected on such a level to everything around her was something like she had never experienced before. In that moment, she knew her place in the universe, she knew her role and her purpose. Her past and present stretched behind her, and her future rose before her. All within her grasp. It was a heady feeling, and enough to make one fear for their own sanity. (9/10)

Kaori's pale, multicolored, eyes snapped open and she let out a roar, sounding more like a tiger than she ever had in all her years. Her pupils, though she was not aware of it, were slitted like Nova's and Toragetsu's, and she could see clearer now than she had ever before in her life. Everything was sharper, she could see colors she had not even known existed, and nearly every strand of fur on Toragetu's paw stood out in extreme detail. She did not need the King of the Cats to tell her what had happened. She had done it, she had succeeded where so many usually failed. She inhaled deeply and looked up at Toragetsu, "I did it! I succeeded in learning how to properly attain Sage Mode, and how much chakra I can maintain at once!" She beamed at the massive feline and stood up, the moment of Sage Mode fading to leave her in her normal form, eyes still multicolored, but with her normal pupils. It was time for her to return to Sunagakure, her partner, and her Kage to inform them of her success. "Go, little Tamer, and destroy all who would dare stand against you. For if they stand against you, they stand against me. And I will not suffer such foolish individuals to live."Kaori nodded once, sharply, and jumped down from the platform, bowed to Toragetsu, and hurried to return to Suna. (10/10)
