Mission: The Disaster Pokemon

After a few hours of stumbling down the mountain path from Blackthorn, I decided to take a break and took a rest in a grassy patch.

"Sheesh, that didn't go as i had planned." I sighed to myself as i sprawled onto the grass. I tossed all my pokeball's into the air and out came Mizu, Ion, and Bismuth to surround me. "Hey guys, lets take a break here we all deserve a rest." Mizu snuggled up with me, while Ion and Bismuth chased after each other. "Guess you don't want to go off and play with Ion and Bismuth?" I asked while petting Mizu. Mizu looked up and me then shook his head while chirping out a "Pip."

"Alright little guy, but I'm not gonna help you out if Ion and Bismuth pick on you." I said is i leaned back onto the grass and stared at the clouds. As i gazed on one of the clouds reminded me of that Pokemon with the White Coat. I never really got a good look at it but that coat was the biggest thing that stuck in my head. I began to wonder, what caused that pokemon to appear, why did it save me?

The questions began to eat at me so much that i couldn't relax. I never saw that pokemon before, even with the journey's I took through Johto and Kanto. I felt like i needed to find that pokemon, no, I had to find that pokemon. If i could meet that pokemon, i think i'd feel better. "Hey guys, time to pack up. Were gonna find a specific pokemon. Someone we owe our lives to." Ion let go of Bismuth and they came back to me. Mizu hopped up with me as i stood up. "Lets get going guys." I said as i returned everyone to their pokeballs.

"Piplup!" Mizu popped out of his ball with his chest puffed out. "Mizu! Quick, Water gun!" Almost instantly Mizu spit out a stream of water at Larion, it winced at the water being sprayed at it then stacy blurted out, "Larion! Take down!" Larion tried to follow orders but couldn't move. "Ha! The paralysis is working!" I said with a smirk. "Dont get cocky, just because my roar failed in giving me the upper hand doesn't mean this is over. Larion will crush you! Come on Larion! TAKE DOWN!!" She barked pointing towards Mizu. "Mizu hold steady, Bide!" Mizu took a deep breath and stood his ground as Larion was able to break out of its paralytic lock and charged at Mizu.

Mizu was hit hard and was tossed a few feet back, but he stood up after taking a deep breath. "Larion! one more time!" But Larion was stricken with paralysis again. "Go! Unleash the energy!" Mizu shouted out and charged directly at Larion. Unfortunatly it looked like the attack did nothing. It glanced off of Larion and Mizu held his head after wards. "Ha, look at that, you cant even scratch Larion's tough armor. Get up larion, Superpower!" Larion roared out and slammed into mizu then chucked him into the ceiling with a loud crunch. Mizu hit the floor in almost a squeaky toy fashion. I bit the bottom of my lip in fear. "Mizu!" I shouted out as i ran over to him and picked him up. "Mizu? You ok?"

"You shouldn't get into a live battle. You could get hurt and id probably have to patch you up again." She said with a smirk "Larion, Take them both Down." Larion glared at us both and began stamping its front left foot.

"Mizu. Mizu! Speak to me! Come on little guy. Lemme know your ok!" I said through tears welling up inside of me. "Mizu! Im sorry, i shoulda called you back, i thought after all that training you'd be able to handle this." Larion let out another roar and charged at us and Mizu lept out of my arms intercepting Larion. In shock i looked at Mizu and he started to change. "Piiiiii- PRINPLUP!" Mizu had evolved and tossed aside Larion. "Mizu!" I shouted out in joy. "It evolved mid battle? Pah, pathetic, that was just luck. Larion, get up. Just cause it evolved doesn't mean it'll beat us." Larion slowly got up and let out another roar and began to charge. "Mizu! Attack!" Mizu let out a cry and slammed larion with his fin almost tossing Larion aside. "That looks like Metal Claw..." I said noticing metal shimmer when he struck Larion. Larion was gripped by paralysis again and it fell to the ground exhausted. "Mizu stop!" I ordered as Mizu was about to hit him with another metal claw. "He's in no shape to keep this going on. Give up, i don't want to hurt your pokemon." I said looking at Stacy as she was gritting her teeth. "Finish it Mr. Former-Champ. You think your so big? END IT!"

I searched for what felt like hours, the bitter cold was becoming unbearable. Mizu was following close to me. He seemed to like being out in the cold. "H-h-heh, At l-l-l-least you l-l-l-like the c-c-cold." I said through chattering teeth. Mizu just looked at me with a happy chirp.

It was funny how i intentionally searching for this white coat pokemon and i cant find him, but out of a mix of curiosity and almost dying it showed itself. I had a sick thought of getting almost killed again to see if it would show itself but i honestly didn't want to go through that again.

"Prin! Prin!" Mizu tugged at my leg and pointed his flipper over to a large cluster of ice. "What is it? Find something over there?" I asked Mizu as i looked over where he was pointing. Mizu waddled over to the ice cluster and began pecking at the ice. "Prin!"

Out lept the White Coat Pokemon as Mizu pecked at the Ice. He must have scared it out.

"Absol!" It roared out as it stared at me. It was like staring at a long lost friend. I ordered Mizu to come back then said "Your the one who saved me aren't you?" The pokemon stood it's ground and nodded at me. "I wanted to thank you. If it wasn't for you id probably be dead." It started to relax its stance at it listened to me, then it gestured to follow it. "You want to show me something?" It nodded. It lead me through a small chasm that overlooked a large room i had never seen before in my travels before. "Ab." It started at a certain spot in the room and i looked over. The ceiling of the room had dozens of Stalactites hanging over head and a large group of Sneasel's standing in file and one man, dressed in black hoodie with silver sleeve's Standing before them.

"It is almost time my friends! We will force this whole place collapse, Blackthorne will be crippled for months, even years, the only viable way is through the Dark Cave, and its next to impossible to climb up the mountain trail to blackthorne. the palce will be cut off from the outside world! The best part is, it will all look like a natural disaster!" He said with a hearty guffaw.

"Ab-sol." The pokemon pointed at the guy and then at me with the blade on its head. "You want me to stop him?" It nodded. "Well i cant let this thug get away with a faux disaster." It took an aggressive Stance. "Your gonna help me?" It nodded again. "Ok lets go then, Come on Mizu, time to stop this guy." I said as i lept form the ledge, Mizu and the White pokemon followed me.

"Stop right there!" I shouted as i pointed at him. The guy stared at me in confusion. "Who the hell are you, and who do you think you are, acting all heroic and all?"

"I'm Kotsuko, and I'm gonna stop your mad plan. I don't give a damn if it makes me sound all wanna be heroic." I Said as Mizu and the white pokemon stood next to me.

"Pheh, that Absol has dragged you into this now eh? It must be getting desperate for help. Silly thing thinks it can get out of being a stereo type for disasters. Anyway your not gonna stop me, look at all these sneasel's, they all belong to me and I'll use em as i see fit." He said with a slight chuckle. I looked at the White pokemon. "So your Absol eh? I think i saw a post about you at the manor. So you've been blamed for disasters. Has this guy been framing you before?" I said looking at Absol then at the guy. "Oh yes, ive been causing a bit of trouble before and thankful this absol has always been caught in the aftermath. He's mad my job sooooo much easier. But enough talk, your wasting my time. I want to get my plan going now." He let out a whistle a gestured for his sneasel's to move. "People like you make my blood boil, framing innocent pokemon just to cause havoc. Mizu! Absol! Lets go!"

The sneasel's lept at us. "Mizu! Metal Claw!" Mizu struck the first sneasel with a glistening flipper and made it fall to the ground almost instantly. I stood in shock for a second, it looked like Mizu had gotten so much stronger since it evolved and the experience he had with Sneasel before he must have learned a few things. Absol slashed at two of them with the blade on its head knocking them back. Sneasel's began to surround us, i had misjudged how many we were up against. "Ion! Back us up!" I said letting out Ion.

"Do you honestly think, Steel will really save you? Your out numbered, your going to die. Before you do though, remember my name, Silverstream! Sneasel's, Beat up!" All the sneasel's lept out and attacked us. "Ion! Mirror Shot!" Ion let out a shinning shot. "Mizu! Metal Claw!" Mizu struck out and hit two attacking sneasel's while Ion's Mirror shot blasted through an entire row and Absol continued its slashing motions cleaving through. "Your not gonna beat us Silverstream." I said in defiance as i dodged a sneasel. "Bah! You hero types are all the same! "your not gonna beat me, im a super hero, bla bla bla" Pathetic! Its like you all read from the same damn hand book. you ever think realisticly? That the mean old bad guy will win? Your out numbered, your gonna get exhausted, and i WILL WIN." Silverstream spat in frustration. "Hero's may sound recycled, but I'm a stubborn one. Even till my last breath ill fight. To crush people who believe pokemon are just weapons, a mean to achieve a goal, to win no matter what even if it means a pokemon getting serioulsy hurt, HONORLESS COMBAT! I cant stand it! Ion! Mizu! Absol! Press the attack I'm gonna take this b*****d down!" While Mizu, Ion and Absol continued to fight i charged through the middle towards Silverstream, trying to dodge Sneasel's, getting nicks and cuts. I rushed through all the way till i finally stood face to face with Silverstream.

"Bravo, i must say, I'm impressed, you left your pokemon to die just to fight me. It will truly be a delight to fight you." Silverstream said with a wicked grin creeping across his face. "They wont die, they're stronger than you think." I growled as i took a swing at him. He dodged out of the way. "But look! Your Prinplup is getting hurt bad!" He said pointing behind me. I quikcly turned and saw Mizu get attacked from behind but quickly turning and slamming its attacker to the ground. As i turned around to retort i felt a fist collide with the left side of my face. "Pft. Stupid bleeding heart, you let your guard down." After rubbing where he hit me i glared at him. "You wuss. Can only sucker punch?" I said swinging a right hook. It connected and he stumbled backwards. "A lucky shot, you wont best me so easily." I gave a shot to his stomach and he let out a gasp. "Oh yeah? That's two of three, odds are lookin in my favor." I said with a smirk as i lept back. "Maaaaag." Ion floated next to me. "Done with them already?" I asked Ion as i refused to break my gaze on Silverstream.

"Prin!"

"Absol!"

Mizu and Absol took position next to me. "Looks like you just lost all your sneasel's." One sneasel limped past Mizu and i placed a hand infront of him and Absol. "STUPID WORTHLESS SNEASEL'S!" Silverstream shouted out and he kicked the sneasel down as it tried to get behind him. "You b*****d! He's looking for help!" I Shouted out. "I DONT CARE! WORTHLESS!! THEY CANT EVEN BEAT THREE POKEMON!!! WORTHLESS ALL OF TH--" I Charged into him and started to punch him repeatedly. "Your trash! A monster! You deserve nothing!" As i raised a fist for another punch that same wounded sneasel had grabbed my arm. "Sn-eas" It whimpered as it tried its best to hold me back. I looked at it in shock. "How could you show sympathy for this beast?" It looked at me with concerning eyes. Almost as if it was saying "This makes you no better than him." Silverstream coughed up blood as i lowered my fists and slowly got up. "Come on guys, lets go home. Lets leave this animal to stew in his own defeat." I said as i withdrew Mizu and Ion. Absol followed me as we headed straight for the exit of the ice path.

"Yeah, there's a shady guy in the Ice Path, he was talkin about collapsing it, you should probably check it out. ---- I heard him say his name was Sliverstream. ----- I'd prefer not to say who i am if that's ok. ---- Ok, thank you." I handed back the cell phone i had borrowed from a passing by trainer. "Thanks, for the help." The trainer took back his phone and said "No problem, it would suck if the Ice path was collapsed, i wouldn't be able to complete my league run if it did." I waited till the trainer was gone and said "Its ok Absol you can come out now." Absol walked out from behind a large cluster of bush and trees. "I wanted to say thank you again Absol. This time i was able to fight by your side and it was a honor." Absol nodded. "I would really like if you came with me." Absol shook his head, then motioned his head towards the Ice Path. Then danced around like it was fighting. "I get it, you want to keep the place safe from people like Silverstream don't you?" Absol nodded. "I understand, i hope we run into each other again." I said as i reached out to pet Absol. Absol moved in and i pet him on his head. "Bye Absol." Afterwards he sprinted off back into the ice cave. As i stood up to leave i heard a noise. I turned back around and saw the sneasel from before looking at me. "Sneas." It weakly called out. "Whats up Sneasel?" It limped over to me and reached out a claw to me. "Do you want to come with me? What about Silverstream?" Sneasel let out a hiss and slashed at the ground and winced from its prior wounds. "Whoa calm down it looks like your still hurt bad." I said kneeling down to Sneasel. I noticed a tear on its ear. "Did Silverstream do that to you?" I asked concerned. Sneasel nodded and started mimicing what happened, then motioned like Silverstream had grabbed Sneasel by the ear and tossed him. "Dont worry, If you want to stay with me ill take you along, first i need to get you some first aid." I said picking up Sneasel then headed to Mahogany Town.
