o-o? you shouldn't have to wait 3 days for it?
as far as i knew you needed to have 500g then you were good to go?

They changed it. 3nodding Your trading pass is given to you three days after your registration for free. I don't know the exact reasoning behind this change, but you're always free to do your own research. Based on what I've read, this is to keep people from creating multiple accounts for illegal purposes (I.E. botting, scamming, flooding the Cash Shop with fake credit cards [true story], etc.)
It also comes with its benefits that affect you. Since you don't have to use 500g on a trading pass, you can use it on other things.
