Where can I change the background colour so I can easily read posts with a very light coloured text? As I'm older (but not senile blaugh ) and also have problems with my eyesight- light texts on white background makes it extremely difficult to read.

For the most part it is according to the site you go to. You can't change the color of Gaia's background. confused But you can hit CTRL+ to enlarge the text.

For sites that do not have an embedded background you can change the background. If using FireFox go to Tools > Options - in Content tab there is "Font & Colors" Click on colors and you can change the background. Gaia though has an embedded background, so it would not change it for you. sad

I have the same problem, X-antippa. When posts appear in those obscenely light colors, I highlight everything either with Cntrl-A or click-selecting with the mouse.
If the text is too small, such as 7 or below, I quote the post to view it in the preview, or copy and paste it onto the URL or Notepad to see it properly.
