People won't see your thread any more if it's in the first, second, third, or fourth slot.
Talk in the main guild forum, you'll actually be able to draw more attention to your quest thread that way. (you can advertise the thread I suppose, but don't quote me on that, with all the subforums the rules on the threads positions gets a little fuzzy.)
