SubonicXP Aile would indeed find a chest, way off in the distance, resting on a rock ledge jutting out of a waterfall all by its lonesome. It looked pretty easy to get to...that is if you could jump down and land on such a small ledge without getting consumed by the torrent of water and sent to your death. Piece of cake. She could also see Freth and Tristen on the ground below. The Inkay screamed as they were hit by the shots fired by the duo, nearly all of them running away and those who didn't were shot down. 'LEVEL UP!' would appear above the heads of both Freth and Tristen, that white light consuming them both and fading soon after to reveal new attire. Freth was now sporting futuristic body armor that made her kind of look like a Bisharp, almost exactly like one except for her wings, Magmortar blaster, and the helmet which was designed more like a red Luxray head, along with a see through visor that hung in front of her face. Speaking of the visor, she might eventually notice that tapping the side of her helmet caused the visor to enter x-ray mode which was handy for seeing through objects and hidden enemies. Outside of that her body armor allowed for additional defense and could easily withstand nearly any blunt force. Tristen's own look was a skin tight blue and yellow jump suit with some markings that made him think of a Eelektross's skin but brighter. The suit seemed to give off some magnetic force which allowed Tristen to move around so swiftly, as if he was barely touching the ground. As if his boots weren't making movement easy (or problematic) enough already. Another new accessory was his own blue helmet, styled to look like a Metagross and with its own visor as well. Whenever he would go to fire his weapon he would notice that the visor predicted the path of trajectory for his weapon, allowing him to know exactly where it would go. The pair might also notice Aile in the trees in the distance if Freth figured out her x-ray vision. Freth the Bounty Hunter is ready to reap her reward!
Mega Tristen is ready to blast!
Freth and Tristen stared at themselves then at each other. "...you look weird..." Tristen spoke up.
"You should speak for yourself. I'm not carrying the fish for an arm." Freth said.
"I DIDN'T ASK FOR THIS!" Tristen spoke up.
Something then came up on Freth's visor, taking notice. A presence in the trees nearby. "Well...might as well put this to use..." She said. She quickly swung around her magmortar cannon arm, firing the flaming shot towards Aile. |

Youko Kenshi On the other side, Connor had just been shot in the chest by Kaya who had been hiding in the same patch of grass. He clutched at his chest, a slight stinging sensation from the impact. Firing off two rounds back at him, he took off running yet again. The teen looked around before climbing up a tree for a moment of rest. Strange enough, there was a chest on the branch adjacent from him. He reached out to open it, hoping for something that suited him better.
Kaya was easily shot by Connor, his bulk making it difficult to escape from the return-fire. The spot in his left shoulder where he'd been hit sizzled quietly, the metal flesh heated but otherwise undamaged thus far. Regardless, yet another of his little Luvdiscs swam away at the hit, leaving him with only one remaining. "Crap....." He groaned before climbing up and running off. He didn't make it far before he tripped over a chest hidden in the grass. Clambering back up, he opened the chest to see what it might hold.
SubonicXP The large bulk of the Surskit were taken back by the Hex attacks, except for two larger ones that managed to jump on Lykas and began to start wrapping a Sticky Web around him.
Lykas struggled against the web as he was wrapped up, though he had an idea. Continuing to struggle until he was fully encased, he released a Water Spout, which quickly filled the cocoon he was encased in, causing it to explode like a small pipe bomb, hopefully eliminating the remaining Surskit mutants. |

Tesei Utakata Cleaning himself off the floor before mentally commanding his ax to return, Reno felt himself wishing more and more for something to disembowel, maim or otherwise cause the delicious pain he was currently in to occur to them also. Conveniently, a swarm of Kecleon who were armed with masks and pretty hides came streaming out of the woodland to greet him and his increased bloodlust. "I am the leader of the stuff parade! Gimme them!" He screamed at his oncoming opponents, bringing his rifle up to blast away until they came close enough to begin hacking with the ax. Why charge them when you could cause pain at a distance for the moment? Leslie, having managed to finally uncover herself from beneath the tree, would quickly locate the guy who shot her and his target, Darts. Also, it seemed he was sitting above a chest he didn't notice. Time to loot before she ventilated the lot of them.
The Kecleon swarm towards Reno, as Darts brings up the back of the formation in what looked like a bunch of metal crates piled together in a hand-drawn cart, a light bulb winking on the top of it as a pair of the Shy-Kecleon pull the makeshift tank forwards, Darts' golden crest topped with his fancy general hat moving as he pokes out of the top of it. "Onwards! Let no one stop you!" As the rifle shots come towards them, the patterns on their body shift and morph, causing them to blend in seamlessly with the grassy backdrop as they run at Reno, hopefully befuddling him with their endless pattern of appearing and disappearing. |

Requiem of Whyspers Lykas struggled against the web as he was wrapped up, though he had an idea. The last of the mutant Surskit were blasted away, the force of the water 'bomb' proving to be too much for them. After defeating those vile creatures, the words 'LEVEL UP!' appeared above Lykas's head and he was soon enveloped in a blinding white light. Once the light faded Lykas would find himself in an all new outfit. He now wore what seemed to be a king's wardrobe, a fine yellow and black stripped silk suit with various medals. His flowing cape was red with black spots like a ladybug, and the scepter in his hands was made of tightly woven silk which was surprisingly solid and on top of it sat a golden Butterfree figure. His crown was made to resemble a Shedinja and between the points of the halo rested a gem similar to a Vespiquen.
Lykas could also sense the presence of many different Bug Pokemon all around him, especially the fleeing Surskit. It appeared he was now in control of a hive mind and felt like he could assimilate other Bug Pokemon into his 'hive' to do his bidding. Right now he could command several Surskit and a few Masquerain.

Tesei Utakata Staring at the constantly disappearing mass of short people coming his way, the insane man attempted to figure out the simplest solution for killing and obtaining their equipment with them constantly fading in and out like that. Looking to his ax before throwing it at the nearby trees, Reno guided the sharpened edge to cleave through the trees in front of the midget swarm in order to have the trees collapse on top of them. Catching the ax as it returned along the crash of falling trees, Reno proceeded to fire on the approaching squad and the strange metal thing. He liked the strange metal thing. He wanted the strange metal thing. "Shiny! Mine!" The Psycho roared, attempting to intimidate and/or confuse. Even though he fully believed his words, they would likely intimidate or confuse for sheer force and insane wording.
The Kecleon in front give out a squeak of concern as they get buried in the trees, crushed immediately and turn to digitized dust. The rifle fire zings over the tops of the trees now downed as the swarm of Kecleon not already felled by the trees take cover, shivering immobilized by the force of Reno's voice. Darts ducks down in his makeshift tank as the shots round his way, the bullets ricochet here and there denting the tank as they hit. "Hey!" Darts' voice emerges from inside the tank. "This thing wasn't free yanno?"
Behind Reno, a small group of Kecleon appear, black where their fellows were red, a hit squad of sorts that had taken advantage of the distraction provided by the main army. They all unleash a Thunder Wave as one, intending to immobilize this threat to the main vanguard before they disposed of it. |
