There was a part in the manga that I liked so much that I thought would be perfect for my OC's storyline. So know what I did? I decided to color selections of the manga, edit the text, and create my own manga page that surrounded Kyoya and my OC. *laughs* Boy was that a lot of work. Took me 3 days to do... but I'm proud of the outcome of the whole thing. Especially the portion that I transformed Tamaki and Haruhi into Kyoya and my OC, respectively. Yeah! I did it! And my Kyoya looks darn right good too! Booyah!

After watching and reading Ouran Host Club, I of course was in the mood to watch Fruits Basket again... since it's been awhile since I last watched it. Man, do I love this anime.

I'll probably watch Azumanga Daioh again too while I'm at afterwards. And maybe Chobits too... Go and have an anime flashback with some of my favorites. ^.^;

Last night I was thinking about the anime guys I've been attracted to... there's only been two... well, three I guess, though I don't count one of them as a 100% attraction thing as with the other two.

So there's Mamoru/Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon (the one I'm iffy on whether I actually had feelings for him or not). Then of course I had feelings for Shigure from Fruits Basket, and currently Kyoya from Ouran Host Club.

Good afternoon-almost-evening everyone! Today was the first day of a heat wave. Got up to the mid-90s, which pretty rare occasion around here... especially up where I live. I soaked in some sun rays and watched some Fruits Basket on my Dad's Kindle Fire (when Mom wasn't playing Mah Jong).

My parents kept teasing me while I was watching FB - especially my Mom. They couldn't see what was going on, so all they heard was the audio portion of the episodes. So I kept having background commentary and teasing remarks going on basically the whole time. *sighs* Hard to enjoy anime when they just don't understand things. Especially when I tried explaining what FB was all about and then came to the conclusion that I was watching "anime kid porn about animals and whiny brats". Ugh... that's so not it.

Though I guess some of the anime shows I do watch are a bit... unique... on what they portray.

Like Ayame barging into Shigure taking a bath. *blinks* Now that I see this photo... I never realized how much is left to one's imagination. *laughs* Oh Shigure... you naughty dog you!

But I guess there's always been a divide between my parents and I and the shows we enjoy. Sure there's a select few that all of us like... but then there's a whole lot of others that I like to watch but my parents aren't all that into. For example... Grimm. Mom wasn't fond of it from the start... and Dad lost interest over time. I'm going to continue watching it on my own though, because I like Monroe. :) He's my favorite character.

It's really amazing sometimes at how close the anime can be to the manga version. Both Ouran Host Club and Fruits Basket do pretty well on that account... even though they don't display everything that occurs, unfortunately. But still... I'm quite impressed.

Are you young at heart or an old soul?
Both?

What makes someone a best friend?
Someone who has always been there for and with me through the good times and the bad. Someone who maintains a strong friendship with me despite whatever is going on in our lives (i.e. schedules, distance, etc.). Someone who I feel safe and loved around, and always has a way of making me smile, even during the worst days.

What Christmas (or holiday) present do you remember the most?
Um... my entertainment center, I suppose... since it's still in my room and I've already pretty much filled it up to the brim with all of my books, movies, and CDs. *laughs*

Tell me about a movie/song/TV show/play/book that has changed your life.
Doctor Who. When I was younger, my Dad used to go to a computer part store, which had a bunch of computer screens set up on display. They always had a show playing at the time, and I'm pretty sure it was Doctor Who that was playing. I don't remember much about the episodes I saw, but I just remembered that it had to be Doctor Who. Over the years I constantly heard about the show but never got around to checking it out. It wasn't until about a year or two ago that I became friends with some Doctor Who fans. It was because of that that I decided to check it out... and well... let's just say I'm now a major Doctor Who fan. *laughs*

Name one physical feature that you like about yourself and one you dislike.
Like: My hair. It is basically my pride and joy about my body. I love the natural coloring of it and the natural curls/waves... and thickness.
Dislike: None.

Would you like to reconnect with any friends you’ve lost contact with?
*thinks* I know there are some friends that I miss hanging out with, but I don't know if reconnecting with them would be worth it. If they truly wanted to stay in touch with me, they would have. But since we drifted apart, obviously it wasn't meant to be.

What’s more important in a relationship: physical attraction or emotional connection?
Emotional connection.

Name a movie that you knew would be terrible just from reading the title.
Oh, I'm sure there's quite a few I've encountered... but I can't think of any right now.

What holiday do you most look forward to?
Halloween and Christmas, usually.

How is the relationship between you and your parents?
We're best friends.

You’ve got the TV on, but you’re not really watching. What channel is the TV on?
If I'm not really watching the TV, then there's no reason for it to be on. But if I had to have a channel going on in the background, I would want Discovery Channel.

Name a song that never fails to make you happy.
Um... there's quite a few I'm sure, but I'll just random list one... "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga

You know at least one person named Michael. Tell me about him.
I've known quite a few Michaels in my life. The one I'll talk about is one of the professors at the university I attended; never had him for a professor myself, since he teaches a class below the years I arrived at the campus at. I got to know him through the Pride Club I was part of. He's got an appearance somewhat similar to Spike from BTVS. He has a beautiful dog named Luna who always looks happy. And... he loves comic books.

Have you ever read the “missed connections” on Craigslist? Have you ever posted one or wanted to?
No.

If you could pick anywhere to live the rest of your life, where would it be?
Around here where I live right now... or in the U.K.

Can money buy happiness?
Not on a long time basis.

Do you drink? Smoke? Do drugs? Why or why not?
Occasionally. No. No. And I don't see why I should explain myself.

Is there anyone close to you that you know you can’t trust? You don’t have to give names.
Those people haven't stayed in my life. *shrugs*

Where was your favorite place to go when you were a little kid?
Outside, to adventure in the woods on our property.

Have you ever spent a night in the hospital?
No.

Do you enjoy being with only one or two friends or with a large group of people?
Depends on the occasion.

Do you like the type of music your parents listen to? Do your parents like the type of music you listen to?
My Dad loves country, my Mom loves Rock/Oldies, I love Pop. Mom and I share the most similarities when it comes to music tastes. I love country because its what I grew up listening to, since Dad works from home.

Have you ever been bullied? Have you ever bullied anyone else?
Bullied? Not exactly, but I have been teased. And I would never bully someone.

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Um... not sure.

If your partner wanted to wait until marriage before having sex, would you stay in that relationship?
I'm be very pleased that I found a partner who shares the same mentality/decision as me, because I too wish to wait until after marriage before having sex.
