"I love you too, sweetie." Van said with a smile as he picked up Larai, holding her in one arm while noogying Kai, much to the boy's annoyance. "And the same goes for this little trouble-maker whether he likes it or not!"

Larai giggled, having cheered up much since her falling into the giant crater. It almost seemed like she didn't even remember it at this point.

"Oo, I just had an idea." Van said with a happy grin as he walked in to find Mala, still toting Larai in his arms. "Hey, you wouldn't happen to have any magics that could create water, would you? We've got a massive crater in our own backyard now, I figured we could turn it into a lake or something."

Mala raised an eyebrow, grinning at Van now. "I do, in fact! I just need a small glass of water so I can magically multiply the ammount so that it could fit into the crater."

"I think that can be arranged." Van said as he set Larai down to get said glass of water before handing it to Mala.

Mala took the glass and stood. She headed over to the shelf, pulling out the proper spellbook before heading out the door. "I'll be back once I'm finished. If any of you want to watch this monontonous spell in action - feel free."

"Come on Kai! Your mom's making us a swimming hole if you want to watch!" Van called once they were back outside, Kai having run off somewhere, as usual.
"Oo! I wanna watch!" Kai said with a grin as he scampered down from the tree he'd been climbing before dashing after his dad and sister to catch up with the pair.

Mala, before long, was standing at the giant crater. She held the spellbook in one arm, now wide open so that she could read from it, and she held the glass of water in her other hand.

Mala threw the glass towards the middle of the crater, capturing it with a sort of magical barrier afterwards. She then began a strange chant, swirling the water around in the barrier bubble until it began to increase and grow slightly more violent inside. Once it was filled, she opened it up slightly and poured the contents inside the crater. It was like a strange waterfall, starting off small yet spewing rapidly.

This continued until it was filled to a certain point. After this, the barrier emptied - dicintigrating into small sparkeling bits that fell down into the water and faded. "Ah, there we go!" she exclaimed as she now pulled the emptied cup towards her. "Finished~"

"Now, who wants swimming lessons~?" Van said with a smile as he clapped his hands together. With no local lakes, the kids hadn't gotten such an opportunity until now.
