"...oh. That's disappointing, it sounded promising," Cera responded, looking up at Giacomo. Much as she hadn't noticed the differences in the music, her concern was the group's hand was already exposed after the response Giacomo made about it. She'd pick up on Amber's stray thought too as the Ebonite handcuffs were about to be put on her, and while she was willing to go with the plan... something was off. Way off.

Amber and Monique would get a telepathic response to the former's thoughts, though the cuffs would make it harder for the Froslass hybrid to hear them thanks to the interference and mental static that came with it.

"I think I've got a more effective idea, if you'll trust me and follow my lead a bit."

"Though, you know, I wonder how the music would sound if you didn't delay the drop and kept the rest. Give it a sudden punch. You know, like this,"

With her remark came a snap of her fingers, a sudden Aura Sphere forming to fly at the Ebonite cuffs; whatever else those cuffs were made of to reinforce them, it was nothing like a building's walls.

"You're a sharp one. But it looks like we're both playing our hands earlier than we wanted to; knowing the hybrid before you's part Froslass specifically, conveniently having Ebonite cuffs to handle psychics and ghosts... mentioning we're not from Schedar Squad right after calling us her lackeys. Someone's given you information, haven't they? And I'd hope a human suddenly using a move isn't some big surprise to you, or I think I'd actually be disappointed from your first impressions."

The Flamethrower from Charmander would burn through the silk String Shot holding Sub to the tree branch, the Snagem leader released and sent crashing onto the forest floor, feet still tied up by the silk but otherwise free. "Ow! How about a softer landing next time?" He playfully complained as he went about freeing his feet. "Hemlock, help out Tamerlane, that bum." He instructed his flower Pokemon, the Grass type rushing over to help untangle the Pangoro.

Then came Deo's Steelix as it suddenly appeared between himself and incoming Spidops, the spider slamming face first into the iron snake and sliding off its body harmlessly in an almost cartoon-like fashion before falling to the ground. At that same moment a certain angry gremlin finally woke up and chose violence, her frustration in the form of a swinging hammer which would make contact with the other Lunging spider and with an audible 'crack' the Spidops was sent flying off into the thicket, disappearing into the trees. Absinthe's Blaziken would unfortunately have nothing to do at this moment thanks to Leslie.

Grinding her teeth as her sneak attack and intimidation attempt failed the ninja would recall her one spider in range and take out a Smoke Ball, turning her attention to Absinthe. "If you want out leader than come get him yourself. Also you'll do well to remember fire doesn't discriminate." With that said the lady ninja spiked the Smoke Ball onto the ground, busting it open and creating a thick cloud of black smoke around her. Seconds later a stiff breeze would blow away the smoke and reveal that she was gone, no scent nor energy signature to track, as if she was never there.

Seconds after she disappeared the sound of a large bell ringing could be heard in the direction of Navi Squad base up ahead, Sub turning his attention in that direction as he watched the front gates open on their own. "That's...different..." Sub commented as he watched the gates fully open and then stay open, the bell's ringing ceasing once the gates were fully open. "Are they inviting us in?" He asked and in that moment Hemlock and Tamerlane approached him, his Pangoro now free. "Thanks Hemlock but no thanks to you, Tamerlane. You really need to learn to not be so passive. Either way, both of you retreat for now." He said, recalling both his Pokemon.

With that settled he then looked to Leslie and gave her a little wave. "Hello~ Have a nice nap?" He asked her with a chuckle before turning his attention to the open gate. "So, you guys ready to storm the place?" He asked, seeing no reason at this point not to go guns blazing now that their cover is blown.

The cuffs had been clasped onto Amber, the Ghost hybrid immediately feeling 'solid' and 'grounded', a strange sensation that now felt foreign to her but when she was human was unnoticeable. Amber would not have to deal with this feeling for long as a small Aura Sphere zipped straight for the Ebonite handcuffs and shattered them, the two hulking grunts jumping back and looking confused, unsure of what just happened. Giacomo was far less alarmed, in fact he seemed almost happy as he smirked and stared right at Cera, knowing exactly where that came from.

"I'm thrilled that I get to meet your expectations, my little shapeshifter. Why don't you and the illusion caster drop the act? In fact, let's all be our true selves, huh?" Giacomo declared. In response the two male grunts smiled and winked at Monique before their bodies began to distort and shift before revealing them both to be Zoroark hybrids themselves, their head fur done up in matching mohawks except one of the two was a shiny Zoroark hybrid. This would certainly be a blind spot for Monique, how could she have not seen through their illusions? She should have or were the twins more skilled in illusion casting than she was?

"Oh and the ghosts too." The man also known as DJ Vice declared, his two hybrid grunts responding by lashing out with Shadow Claws and snatching up Spooky and Arauth in their claws, one for each of them. Their invisibility did not escape the eyes of the Zoroark hybrids. "Good, now then...who are you people? And what do you want from Team Star?" He asked them, resting an elbow on his table and resting his check on his fist as if to signify he was bored or tired. Did he not know they were part of Team Snagem? He knew a lot clearly but the Segin Squad boss seemed to hold his cards close to his chest. "Hopefully I don't have to break out the Starmobile like Mela, I hate playing the same track twice but I on the other hand always finish my set." He mocked them.

"Oh and by the way? I want you to pay really close attention to your surroundings. You feel that? The miasma of Dark energy heavy in the air? Got some nifty machines from a benefactor, they make nasty little Psychic tricks more difficult primarily with a bonus on making stuff hard on Ghost types too. Most important of all Teleporting is not possible within the confines of this base so no easy escaping for you three." He grinned. This guy was smart, cunning, and planned ahead. Coupled with being a Dark type specialist? He was a lot like...Sub, actually.

"NO! No, no no no nonono!" Leslie bellowed, glaring daggers towards Sub as he spoke to her. "All I needed to do was finish the upgrades to my hammer and set myself back to my own personal mission! I am not getting roped into this again!" Swinging the sizable hammer around herself with a quick twirl before setting back on her shoulder, the Tinkatuff hybrid would begin her slow walk in the opposite direction of the gate. Already hard at work getting her SNAG on so she could figure out where she was and how she was getting back to school. GRAY had better have determined where that Rookiedee had gone, because she was going to make sure her final hammer would turn it to dust.

Sub would smile to himself as Leslie turned her back and took out her SNAG. "All according to plan..." He thought to himself as he waited for the next phase in his plan to play out on its own.

Leslie would inquire on the whereabouts of that hated Rookidee, having instructed GRAY to help track it down. It would take much prying for GRAY to display a map on the SNAG for Leslie and reveal what GRAY believed to be the exact location of the Rookidee; Tagtree Thicket, conveniently where Leslie was and most importantly deep within Navi Squad base.

Was this all way too convenient for Sub? Absolutely, because it was all planned. Sub had took it upon himself to find this Rookidee once he realized Leslie's obsession with it and tagged it with a tracker so that he and GRAY might always know its location, but Leslie didn't need to know that. Now was it coincidence that the Rookidee was here? Probably not either. It wasn't hard to get a Pokemon where you want it to be, especially when it's prime bait for a certain tiny pink ball of anger you wish to weaponize.

Either way it was here and so was Leslie and she would have to go right through Navi Squad base to reach it, just like Sub wanted. If Leslie thought about all this for just a bit she might realize the trick but Sub was betting on her blind hate denying her the ability to do so, that instead of questioning anything she would simply focus on one goal; bonk that damn bird.

Monique felt very, very exposed. Her act had been seen through, while she had not been able to notice them. Was it because she didn't actually know any other Zoroark? Had she been too confident in her illusion-casting abilities? Was it something about being twins?

Nonetheless, it was time to drop the act. Her hand had been forced. "Hi," she let out meekly. "I'm Monique Ka‘ana‘ana. Former sheriff." She took a moment to collect herself, but she was visibly flustered. She had no idea what to ask Giacomo at this point. "...Why in the world does Team Star exist?" she blurted out.

Amber had been more than willing to let them take her to Giacomo's quarters, had resigned herself to this plan, but Cera shattering the Ebonite cuffs changed that line of thinking. Not that the Froslass hybrid minded; she hated beating around the bush, anyway. Then Giacomo revealed that he'd known all along they were frauds, and she blinked in surprise at the fact that both the grunts were Zoroark hybrids, albeit one was a shiny. That was certainly something she hadn't been expecting, and from the look on Monique's face, she hadn't been, either. The thing that made her blood run cold was when he ordered the two Zoroark hybrids to capture Spooky and Arauth. Both were constantly invisible, there was no way he should have known about them, unless....

"How do you know so much about us, Giacomo?" she asked, clearly not happy with this turn of events. "More specifically, how the hell did you know about my two Ghost-types? There's no way you could have known unless.... ah, that's it, isn't it? You either had a spy amongst Mela's crew, or someone on the outside is feeding you information. Hmm, if you placed a spy in another base of your own team, then I wonder what it is that you're so paranoid of? What's the matter? Afraid that someone will try to usurp your position as boss? Or is it more that you decided you have to keep tabs on all the other squads to make sure they're following orders? Perhaps you don't really trust your followers or fellow Team Star bosses, and you have to make sure they do everything, down to the tiniest little detail? Is that it?"

She was grasping at straws, she knew she was, but there was no way in hell she was letting him get away with thinking he had the upper hand. Sure, she had no idea how he could have known about her two constant companions, both of whom were now visible and struggling against the Shadow Claws that held them. She glanced at the two, getting their attention before subtly shaking her head, causing them to calm down before they hurt themselves trying to get free, then turned her attention back to Giacomo.

"I have to admit, you took me by surprise with the Ebonite cuffs," she said, tapping her chin thoughtfully. "Knowing how to handle Ghost-types, especially hybrids, isn't something just anyone knows, and I'm almost certain that Ebonite isn't cheap. So you've got a cash cow of a benefactor who's willing to pay for nice toys for you punks without any questions asked. But I have to wonder. How much do you really know about this 'benefactor' of yours? Do you know what their motives are? Are they really in line with what you're doing, or are they just using you for their own ends? Oh, and one more thing. I have no intention of making an 'easy escape', not after this little stunt." After saying this, she looked Giacomo straight in the eyes, and all of a sudden, it was as if a switch had been flipped.

"For all your knowledge about me and my companions, there's one thing you didn't know," she said, her voice icy and her eyes hard. "Yes, I have two Ghost-types out with me at all times, and yes, they are the ones I rely on most when it comes to situations like this, so I can take my opponents by surprise. However, had you bothered to do your research, you'd have learned that they are not my only companions that are versed in stealth. In fact, I think a little surprise of our own is in order. Turace, dear, you can come out to play now." As she said this, the air temperature around and near her dropped considerably, though it wasn't of her own doing. From her shadow, a white, ghostly form appeared, the mask adorning her face doing nothing to hide the pure, murderous hatred in her eyes for the one who had targeted her beloved trainer.

"There's a reason I don't use this one in battle often," she explained, keeping her eyes trained on Giacomo. "See, she has no issue with battling against female trainers, but when it comes to men, as you can see, she holds a grudge against them all. Not sure why, but who am I to question it? Turace, please be a dear and use Thunder Wave on the two idiots holding your teammates captive." The Froslass whipped around and executed the order, but she wouldn't stop there. Oh, no, these fools would learn just why it was a bad idea to piss off a Pokemon that was well-known for holding grudges against the male members of society. Following the Thunder Wave (even if it didn't hit), she would immediately execute a Snowscape and use the ensuing snowstorm to 'disappear' before firing off two different Ice Shards, one aimed for each of the two Zoroark hybrids.

Segin Squad

"If you're fine with staticy telepathy," Cera remarked, her form shrinking and reverting back. The energy she was feeling throughout the base made her reluctant, feeling the transformation would let her communicate better. But if everyone was dropping the act, doing the same in turn was the least she could do. Her eyes would reopen once she was just floating in place, ascending slightly to meet Giacomo's eye level better. "Can't talk to you any other way unless you want a hybrid translating for me. Now if you want a name to attach to the face, it's Cera. And mostly... we just want to talk. We were made aware of Team Star and matters going on, with a request to do something about it. But..."

Cera paused as she looked around, surveying the surroundings and remembering a different, yet similar sight back at Schedar Squad's base. "Ignoring the Donphan in the room and any benefactors for a second, the worst I've otherwise seen from Schedar or your squads has been staying away from the Academy and there's gotta be a reason beyond just feeling like it. Wasn't even faking the remarks about your music by the way, it's good. So I guess I'm echoing Monique's question, because for the remarks about causing issues, I've seen more of the squads at odds with each other and hanging around in the base than being some threat. Except for the device and already knowing about us, that seems more like a threat to us explicitly."

Based on the energy permeating the base, she was way too familiar with what the device likely was... and made a mental note to ask Sub why the hell anyone had one of those in a post-Ein world. That mental note came only shortly before seeing Amber go on the offensive, already having a feeling the next step was about to be Starmobile 2: Dark Reprise. "Also can we not immediately agitate and assault the people we're talking to on their turf!? Or did you actually want the Ebonite accessories?"

She had been intending to simply go with returning to school, but the temptation to see if GRAY had any information on her mortal enemy was too much to not at least take a small glance towards before committing. "Okay, GRAY. Any news on that avian assailant before I march back to school and set to work on learning and preparing my armaments for their next appearance?" Leslie asked into the device, watching to see if she might get some sort of information on the map. "And here I thought you were only going to venture once you, in your words, put together a weapon to kill god or die trying? Obsession finally prove too much?" GRAY told her, the map immediately setting itself to show the entire region rather than indicate any particular area.

"Well, unfortunately, the boss kidnapped me from my ventures into the realms of bludgeoning and education. So I figure if you've been doing like I asked, then maybe I got lucky and this bout of kidnapping has put me near that blasted bird. Then I can really test out my current iteration of the hammer before I truly begin my efforts to expand this from maiming to apocalyptic destruction." Leslie told, breathing growing heavy as her thoughts turned to the Rookiedee.

"Can't you simply just pick another Rookiedee in the schoolyard to declare bloodfeud against, take care of the thing, and then get back to whatever it is you were doing before this?" GRAY said.

"No! That one in particular, it knows what it did. Now then, you wouldn't be so evasive if you didn't have anything. Now spill!" Leslie bellowed at her SNAG, eyes darting across the map to see if any detail might have slipped GRAY's effort to keep her from seeing anything.

While nothing would be said, a quick flash would illuminate on the map before just as quickly fading away, almost like something had slipped through that hadn't been intended. A point that as Leslie took control back of the map and zoomed on where she had sworn it was, proved to be very close to her. "You slipped for a second there. You should just make sure I know where that thing is. Otherwise, I might be wandering these woods after that thing for a real long time and who knows what might happen to me during that time?"

"Fine. The Rookiedee is located to the southwest, still within this thicket." GRAY relented, flashing up an approximate area for where the small bird to be located. Nodding at the device as she moved to close it, Leslie would turn to face the direction GRAY had indicated and immediately charge forward without any regard to what was in her way. Which quickly sent her dashing between Sub, Deo, and Abby towards the depths of Navi Base. Eventually the fact that this was the immediate direction this pointed to and the convenience of it all might occur to her. But right now, she had Rookiedee in her eyes and a hammer that needed some more testing against the heads of anything that aimed to stand between her in this pursuit.

Monique, it turned out, had been more laconic than her Snagem comrades, who each had much more to say to Giacomo. Amber felt incredibly exposed herself, so much so she had called on Turace to immobilize the guards. That move overwhelmed Cera and Monique, who were making a valiant attempt at dialogue before Amber set off a firestorm—no, an ice storm—with her attacks.

The sheriff huffed. "Giacomo, I will not hesitate to attack if need be, but should that come to pass, you should know that I'm kinda like Turace." She glared at Giacomo, smirking. "Had the Duosion split the other way..." It was true for reasons as related to her upbringing as anything else. The massive human toll that construction of the Dome took, plus chemical imbalances attributed to early Smog, meant her generation and life experiences had mostly revolved around women. She grew up in a household of three mothers and three daughters, but she never knew her father. Her colleagues in New Po, not to mention her former superior, were women, and her cycle had even synced up with one of them while on the force. She worked at a lesbian nightclub, for crying out loud. Those things were not accidents, even if some were happenstance. Sure, she could work with men, something she had gotten used to especially after joining Snagem and finding herself in a more balanced reality overall, but it was always strained.

"Anyway, if you want to avoid that, my first question is simple." Monique, in spite of everything, had managed to gain composure and cast that stare that wasteland criminals grew to know. Maybe it was the high level of Dark-type chi. "Why do you exist? Clearly, there is some trauma around the academy, but... How did it grow to this?" The Zoroark gestured to the tents and other fixtures that barely rated as structures and not collections of furnishings. "This ain't much worse than some places where I'm from."

"Why wouldn't I be keeping tabs on Mela or any of the other Team Star bosses for that matter? Knowledge is power and if I want to come out on top over this little power struggle then I need all the power I can get. You can call it paranoia but I call it being smart. Trust is for fools." Giacomo said in response to Amber, finding her notions to be humorous. "And none of you need to worry about who is helping us pay the bills, though I'd certainly like to know who is paying you, and I will find out." He sneered. "At least one of you had the decency to give a name, even if it's a cop."

While Amber's Froslass did act quick enough to get a Thunder Wave off on the non-shiny hybrid, the one holding Spooky captive, she wouldn't have a chance to get the other one as it moved like a flash as it leaped forward and Sucker Punched the Froslass directly in the face with its free hand before she could use Snowscape. The Dark move was empowered by this strange Dark energy in the air making for one extremely damaging move. "Move even an inch and this one pays." The shiny Zoroark hybrid said to the Froslass as he held up Arauth in his other hand, provided the Froslass didn't suffer a OHKO from the Sucker Punch. The non-shiny hybrid grinned, amused by his brother's actions even though he was now feeling twitchy.

"Heh, such hostility coming from the individuals that trespassed on my turf, as the pink one said, and even have the audacity to try and lie their way in. You don't get to claim the moral high ground, ladies. You don't get to come up in here and threaten and intimidate me. It now feels like you meant me harm before you even set foot on my base. For all I know you were trying to assassinate me but now you want to talk? Ask questions of me? Please." Giacomo huffed, offended that they were trying to, what felt like to him, talk down to him. He fiddled with the devices on his DJ stand for a bit, pushing buttons and tapping a screen, before looking back at the trio.

"Now then, all that aside, that is an interesting question you presented to me; why does Team Star exist? Why indeed? Why would the bullied band together to protect themselves? Why would they want to become stronger? Strong enough to never be hurt again, strong enough to demand respect from those that denied it to them before. Why on Earth would the kicked dog bite back?" Giacomo said, tossing a Timer Ball off of his stage, the ball landing just in front of the trio, the device popping open to release a Mabostiff, the dog snarling at the three as it appeared.

"Now then, I'm done answering your questions..." He said, gesturing to the shiny hybrid and another random grunt, the hybrid holding Arauth letting the Misdreavus go by throwing it at Froslass before walking up to the other grunt who had fetched a Full Heal on Giacomo's orders, the shiny hybrid immediately uses it on his brother to cure his paralysis. "Now it's time you answer some of mine and mine aren't optional." His dog growled as if to give emphasis, the two hybrids not standing behind the dog, arms folded. "Who are you people? Where did you come from? Who sent you? And what do you want with Team Star?" He demanded to know. "Answer wisely because I may already have the answer to some of those questions and I'm done being taken for a fool."

If the trio was paying attention not only was Giacomo threatening them with his Pokemon and hybrid grunts the surrounding run-of-the-mill grunts all had at least one Pokeball out clutched in their hands, prepared to unleash their Pokemon at a moment's notice. As if the unseen machine pumping out all this Dark energy wasn't hint enough he wasn't asking nicely nor okay with them just leaving peacefully the armed grunts made it more clear. He was going to get information out of them one way or the other, he was just giving them the option on how painful it was going to be.

Furthermore, was it getting darker outside? In the middle of the day? It did seem more dim outside than it was a minute ago. Weird.

Giacomo was not backing down. As he talked, something—the dark mist? the words coming out of his mouth?—started to really amp up the Sheriff of New Po. By the time he was finished with his diatribe and had sent out that dog Pokémon she did not recognize, Monique was like a Rolycoly with Steam Engine, raring to go.

"Giacomo, I'll have you know a few things. I ain't no normal freakin' cop. In my time, I fought against a king. And I don't kill people.

Anyway, my name is Monique Ka‘ana‘ana, member of Team Snagem. I came from somewhere that doesn't exist yet and, tapu willing, will never exist. And if you wanna know more, then you're gonna have to fight me for it."

Even as Monique hurled out a Poké Ball, she was digesting the new information. Giacomo had mentioned bullying, and Mela had talked about an "ignored fire". Something had clearly gone down at the academy. It made Monique concerned. Something was missing from the picture, almost as if someone back in Mesagoza wanted it that way.

As the Poké Ball released its contents, she sighed at seeing the one Pokémon she didn't want to see in this moment: the blue and silver Orthworm, thrashing about. She hoped this unproven worm had as much fight in it as she did right now. Otherwise, she was not gonna look good.

Turace wasn't expecting the Sucker Punch, though thankfully, she executed an Endure just as it hit, knowing how much that would hurt otherwise. The following hit by her fellow Ghost-type being thrown at her didn't help matters, causing the two to tumble to Amber's feet. The Froslass hybrid quickly turned her attention to Turace, seeing that her Pokemon namesake couldn't take another hit, and recalled the Froslass to her ball before turning her attention back to Giacomo. As he answered Monique's question about the existence of Team Star, Amber had to stop and listen, really listen. Wait, these guys were the victims of bullying? That explained a lot, such as why they were avoiding the academy.

As soon as Giacomo made his demands, however, any sympathy she might have felt for the Team Star members went out the window. So that was how they wanted to play, then? Fine by her. "My name is Amber, also from Team Snagem," she said. "As for who sent us and what we want with Team Star, you'll have to take that up with the Academy. I don't know many details, but they seem pretty damn certain you guys are some kind of criminal organization. Myself, personally, I think they just want to punish the ones they can't control, by any means necessary."

She glanced at the grunts surrounding them, noting that each one had at least one Pokeball out and at the ready. So they were ready to fight at a moment's notice. Wait, why was it getting darker? It was the middle of the day. "I don't like this any more than you do, Giacomo," she said, her voice calm now. "I hate trying to force others into submission just because someone else says to. But if you think your hound is going to scare me, you're sorely mistaken. I may sympathize with you because of the fact that you've all endured bullying, but don't for a second think that we don't know what it means to suffer at the hands of others.

"You think you've endured pain and torment? You have no idea what suffering is until you've held your baby sister's dying body in your arms as you watched the life leave her eyes. You don't know of the torment that comes after from the people that blame you for your sister's death, saying that if you'd just stayed home that day, she would still be alive, that the burglar wouldn't have messed with a trainer. Oh, and let's not forget the ones that say it's your baby sister's fault that she was a was killed, that she must have done something to draw the burglar's attention during the robbery."
Normally, she would never reveal such information unless she knew someone extremely well or trusted them implicitly, but it seemed something in the dark energy in the air was making her feel a little more cynical than normal.

As she was speaking, if one were to look closely, they would be able to see a single tear roll down her face. She didn't even bother wiping it away, locking eyes with as many grunts as she could before looking back at Giacomo. "You ask what I want with Team Star?" she said. "I don't want anything from you. I'm merely following orders. What I want is for everyone to just get along, but because some people think that just because someone is a little different, or doesn't 'fit in' like they think that person should, that can never happen."

Segin Squad

"Causing issues, sure, but I wouldn't say criminal," Cera remarked at Amber's answer. "But I didn't hide anything with my name. I'm a Mew. I call myself Cera. It's not that deep. The worst I did was keep out information that wasn't needed, you tend to learn that pretty quick when some of it's sensitive. You of all people should know that, right?"

Throughout all of this, even as the Dark energy seemed to shround the entire base should've began overwhelming her, the worst that came from her was a wary glance at the Mabostiff snarling at the trio before her attention went back to Giacomo. It was almost like she was talking to a much younger Sub, in more ways than she'd willingly admit in the moment. "The Academy sent us, but the info I gave is the info we have. And not once was Team Star called anything criminal. Or anything about a bullied band, which lines up a little with Mela's remarks... clearly there's details they- and we- aren't aware of. And as the other two said, we're from Team Snagem, perhaps you've heard of us." She'd pause as the others continued, making sure it could be seen that she wasn't going for any quick movements. Just floating, maybe the occasional swaying of her tail, but nothing that suggested she'd do anything else.

"And I know all about kicked dogs and cats biting back, got the t-shirt to prove it. I keep it on the dresser next to the emotional scars so they don't feel alone at night. Clearly I can only speak for myself because we're certainly proving certain others right, but I didn't come here to be hostile or for a fight. I came here to find things out, that's what I want with Team Star. And what the Academy wanted out of us, too."

“Leslie? Wasn’t she a human? Also, Aval! Return!” Deo would say as he withdrew his Steelix and was pondering what Sub was up to with a concerned look underneath his shades that fit perfectly onto his snout and fit just right to where he need not make adjustments to them. The breeze left him smelling artificial smoke and the smell of the natural forest and a nice scorch of web burn. He felt his hair stand up as the gates opened. Something wasn’t right. Just letting us in? Bull.

“I won't go ahead yet.” He would say as he would then use his X-Ray vision to scan where the wall was, not just for creatures, but for traps and other Star members. He took off his shades for this and it was visible that he was using this, not visually, but to Sub and the rest, they could tell he was using this ability as he looked side to side, slowly. Up and down, slowly. If anything, he was more cautious about this mission now that traps were set up.

All the while, the psyduck decided to make sure he was out of sight, but also kept a close eye on the group, so they would not be in danger.
