After returning to the village and everything that entailed, Amaranth couldn't help feeling bad for the arrangements the hybrids among them were forced into. In the past, she'd very well be dealing with the same things they were and were she able to, she'd trade places so one of them would have some slightly better conditions. Muttering "Sorry..." under her breath as she watched them be led off elsewhere, she decided to walk around and explore the village to take her mind off it. Being able to afford more freedom, she didn't want to put it to waste. This was their chance to learn more, whether to make things easier on everyone or finally find a way back home-

"Oh? That's a curious implement."

Amaranth's thoughts would be derailed as her walking took her near Galaxy Team HQ, and what looked like a caravan that set up shop. She could've sworn it wasn't there last night, but maybe the overload of new information caused her not to think anything of it. Having already stopped, she turned towards the person that spoke up. "...excuse me?"

"Why, that hammer of yours. May I see it?"

"I feel like I shouldn't be handing this to someone I don't know..."

"Then let me introduce myself," he remarked, tipping his hat and flashing a smile. "Volo, of the Ginkgo Guild! The go-to choice for the village's- and I hope your- mercantile needs!" For the moment, his voice bordered on boisterous, a slight departure from his otherwise calm expression and attire. The similar colors between his attire and the caravan suggested he probably wasn't the only member. In fact, she was pretty sure she did see someone else wearing similar earlier; another member?

"...Amaranth." The least she could do was repay the introduction in kind.

"And see, now we know each other. Is that enough to put you at ease?"

"No."

Suddenly, the wind seemed to howl and Volo hung his head. But she would learn that he wasn't one to be deterred so easily.

"Ah, but aren't you curious about the tiki sitting atop? Just a little?"

"You know about this?" She asked, unstrapping the hammer and taking the tiki artifact off of it. She still kept both well out of reach, lest she find them becoming the Ginkgo Guild's newest wares.

"Just a few things. I'll give it right back, if you'll let me inspect it a little closer."

"...fine," she relented, handing over the tiki and watching as Volo turned and twisted it around in his hand.

"...ah! As I thought. I'm curious of how you came across such a relic, let alone in such good- if well-worn- condition. Maybe the they've been around even longer?"

"Who's they?"

Realizing he'd gotten a little lost in thought, Volo perked up and handed the tiki back as promised. "Off in the Coronet Highlands, there was a clan of bird tamers that oft resided in the mountains. A lot of them would carry tikis just like that one, sometimes affixed to other implements- weapons, like that hammer. It was thought they all disappeared, lost to time- er. So, you're not with them?"

Confused, Amaranth shook her head and didn't dare mention that she kinda killed someone who might've been one of its surviving descendants some centuries later. Or about her own affinities concerning the artifact. "I kind of just found it one day. It's been a bit of a good luck charm since then... how do you know about this?"

"What good merchant doesn't investigate the odd and novel? Here, as thanks for appeasing my curiosity!" Again, he gave a tip of his hat before shoving a Potion into her hands. Amaranth got the feeling he knew more than what he'd disclosed. Chances were, a lot more, and not just about apparently rare artifacts. But judging by his actions, he wasn't going to be telling her more right now.

Making a note to tell the others about Volo, she'd go on with her day. The rest of it wouldn't quite be as eventful- a lot of the village, at face value, probably wouldn't be too much help but there were certainly some accomodations if they needed to make use of them. Food and sleep continued to be nothing to really speak of, but as soon as she awoke, she'd rendezvous with Sub at the general goods store, nodding in agreement at Wren as she and the rest continued to the southern side of the village. Her information could wait until everyone was together.

When the hybrids arrived at the shacks, and were separated into the 2 huts, Deo was looking around and sat down on the floor. Not even 5 minutes in and then, it hit deo and it hit hard. To him, the roof, walls, and floor were made of stone. The door was rusty iron bars that were guarded by 2 prison guards and that was not all. What everyone else was seeing was Deo, in a fetal position on the floor, muttering through the tears he was shedding “help me, please, help me, I don’t want more tests, help me”. This muttering would be quiet throughout the night. For Deo, it seemed like an hour was years. He had little sleep and was still in that position until the next morning when the guard poked him with his spear tip, saying “come on, get out”. Deo then awoke from his state, and walked out the door where he would meet up with the other snagems and there, he would follow Sub’s lead, all the while, he would slowly calm down from his state of fear and suffering.

"Desire? Ha! You are a deceiver, a liar! Why would I want anything from you, demon?" She sneered at Darts, keeping her eyes closed, trying to keep her 'hold' on the evil being bound by her magics. "How pathetic though, the Renegade bound by the power of a mortal like me. Not too surprising I suppose, I am the most powerful sorceress this side of Hisui, after all." She said, opening her eyes and grinning. "That much I am certain. Not even the Noble Pokemon can resist my binding charms." With that she closed her eyes again and yet continued to speak. "Besides, if I'm powerful enough to contain you there is nothing you can possibly offer me. You're as weak as you ever been, Renegade, you said so yourself. So be silent and fade back into the prison mighty Sinnoh once banished you to, where you belong."

"Oh how wise, mighty sorceress..." Darts laments, languishing back against the wall of his cell with his arm thrown up. "You are right I have nothing to offer a being as powerful as you... the mysteries of life beyond death, the power over reality and time itself - mere trinkets in your grasp." He peeks out over at her maintaining her hold on him, trying not to grin despite his little act. "I should just resign myself to my fate - I've babbled on enough and you've seen through my charade. Perhaps I shall see the outside at the end of your mortal lifespan. Curses!" He resolutely closes his mouth beneath his crest and shuts his eyes again, two red pips winking out of existence below his golden brow.

Beau wasn't trying to actively fight or scare the locals when they returned with Darts chained up. He had already resigned himself to the same sort of mistreatment he remembered him and Larrimore experiencing during their journey in the more hick towns of Kalos. And so he was going to skip the part where he attempted to endear himself to the few locals he could and just take up his time making the small residences that had been offered to the hybrids more hospitable. He barely even noted the guards that had wanted to escort them towards the huts at the edge of the farmland as he was practically walking ahead of them.

But something caught his attention as he drew close to their new dwellings. With how much his mind had been focused on his lessons from La Ruche, it was impossible to miss how poor quality the food these fields were growing. How exactly were they attempting to grow things in this place? Slowly drifting away from the path to the huts, Beau would find himself staring into the nearby storage. And while he could find some buckets for water and racks for drying out what looked like grains, there was barely anything else. While he was sure the pointed farm implements were simply being kept away since the hybrids would be nearby, the lack of any sort of fertilizer was glaring. As this thought dawned on him, a second thought would settle alongside it. Fertilizer tended to be highly combustible. It was part of why Vivillon powder was used so much in La Ruche as fertilizer. Now how to get them grabbing the stuff....

Looking over the field again, he was able to identify one patch that was growing much better than the rest. And he could even spot somebody working away at it. Sidling over to the farmer, Beau would make sure to start conversation before he could look up. "So why are these ones growing so much better here?"

"No idea. Bidoof keep trying to eat them, so you'd....think....they'd.....die....." The farmer trailed off, having turned to take in the visage of Beau standing over him.

Simply brushing past the faltering farmer's reaction, Beau continued. "Y'know, I think it might be the droppings from those Bidoof making it grow so well. See it all the time out in the wilds. Pokemon droppings and other discarded bits seem to feed plants something that just pure water can't."

The farmer would continue staring up with a fish-eyed look as he attempted to process what he was told, eventually offering a, "Thank you. Maybe.......maybe we'll try that out? Can't......hurt?"

Nodding curtly to the man, Beau would finally feel like going back towards the hybrid residence. Well, they would either start gathering some potential arson fuel for him in their own self-interest or he was going to be ignored as some 'devil creature' trying to make them farm worse. No skin off his back either way. He just needed to make that quick effort once it entered his head.

After that, it was a simple night of making sure things were well set-up, keeping out of view of Larrimore so no questions were asked about the sword, and waiting for the next day so that they could potentially meet up with the rest of the Snagems and begin plotting. And also making sure that he still had the single shot firework. That thing might end up important here.

The Snagems would try to gather in front of the hybrid's living quarters however the looks and attention they were getting was too much for the Snagem leader so instead he suggested they head out the southside gate, the guards more than happy to let them through (hoping they don't come back). Instead of heading to the beach they woke up on the Snagems gathered at the practice field, it's here where Laventon would exercise his Pokemon and run other kinds of tests for observation.

Finding a spot to sit on a fallen tree Sub took a moment to collect his thoughts, having spoke to some of the other Snagems before settling down here. It was time to share their gathered information and make a plan. "So, here is the deal. We can stay here in Jubilife Village as long as we want to, now that we've given Darts over. According to commander Kamado, the leader of this place, we could live the rest of our days out here. Though I have plenty of doubts that is even remotely true." Sub began, hinting at his suspicions of Kamado's personal motives.

"That said I certainly have no intentions on staying here and thus fully plan on finding a way home and I think we're already on track to finding a way. Thanks to Aile she learned through the local professor, Laventon, that the bubble we found ourselves in yesterday is a relatively new phenomenon here in Hisui called a time-space distortion. His knowledge of them coupled with our own knowledge of the future confirms a couple of things. One the distortion as the name implies is a contained and localize bending of space and time, meaning it only affects things inside of it, so anything inside of it disappears with it. See; Aile's arm." He said, looking to Aile, flinching slightly.

"Two, the distortion acts as sort of a corridor for Pokemon, pulling them from different locations of this reality and time period, such as a different region, and pulls them from different points in time in this reality, such as the future. Porygon is a good example here. Three, all these distortions appear to be directly connected to the main distortion that occasionally appears above Mt. Coronet. They only started showing up after a 'tear in the sky above the sacred mountain' appeared, according to the locals. This has led them to believe that 'mighty Sinnoh', their fabled god and the future namesake of this land, is angry with them. This brings us to the final bit of information, number four; the distortion above Mt. Coronet has affected the Noble Pokemon. This part is likely irrelevant to us but confirms for them their god is angry as the Noble Pokemon are the descendants of Pokemon of their folklore said to have been chosen and gifted by Sinnoh itself. Now with the distortion they have gone wild and been running amok." Sub finished explaining.

"So this brings us to my own train of thought one getting back home. As we witnessed yesterday Darts' jacket reacted strangely to the time-space distortion. Some of you may not know that the jacket is kind of an entity of its own, directly tied to the 'gifts' bestowed upon Darts by Giratina and thus has a connection with the Distortion World. Whenever Darts utilizes Shadow Force to travel to the Distortion World its by his jacket, which is what makes his abilities so limited in the first place. For example when he took myself and our prisoner, Ein, into the Distortion World to abandon the later there it almost killed him. Neither one of us knew it would take so much out of him to take a passenger, let alone two. If you haven't figured out my theory yet I have reason to believe that Darts, or rather his jacket, has the ability to traverse the time-space distortions." He started to explain.

"From the information I have on Darts, what he has provided or I've otherwise observed, and yes I snoop on all of ya, shocker I know..." He smirked. "His jacket wants to be in our reality, or rather in the 'mortal realm' specifically, the world blessed by Arceus' light. Like Darts it possesses a fragment of Giratina itself who envies the world blessed by its creator, jealous of those who get to enjoy what it considers paradise while it languishes in the discarded remains of reality in the Distortion World. Furthermore the jacket was created in our reality, the mortal realm, thus it is essentially 'anchored' to it. Ever wonder why Darts always comes back to our reality, in essentially the same location, every time he uses Shadow Force, rather than getting lost in the infinite expanse? That's why. The jacket has to, or rather wants to, return. It would explain why it acted so crazy upon sensing the space-time distortion, it sensed a way back. It doesn't want to be here. Giratina wants Darts in the Distortion World but Darts' own will, the love of his jacket, is what keeps him coming back home. Which if I'm correct it confirms another thing; Darts can't use Shadow Force in other realities, least not normally. Why else did it frantically seek out the space-time distortion? Meaning outside of rampaging and fighting his way out of his prison he's stuck there. He may be part Ghost but the ability to become intangible isn't one he's a particular master of." He went on.

"So to simplify Darts' jacket will keep seeking out the distortions to get back to our reality and time and the space-time distortions are how it believes it can. It wouldn't be a stretch to saw Dialga and Palkia are involved in all this somehow but that's not important at the moment." He continued. "What I can confidently say is Darts has the means to get home however likely only with himself, considering Shadow Force almost killed him in our time with just two others. Traveling this far with just one other person might be completely impossible. So while he is our ticket back, and we will likely have to break him out of prison at some point, we need to find a way to better hone Darts' Shadow Force, to somehow allow us all to travel with him without him killing himself to do so, or worse all of us getting lost in transition in the Distortion World." With that he sighed, listening to himself he sounded like a madman but was it really that crazy, considering the world they lived in?

"If only we knew more about this world, maybe there is something here that could help us. However these people in the village are all ignorant, they know little about Hisui, besides the professor." Sub said, wishing for more knowledgeable natives. "So, anyone else have anything to report? Any ideas or suggestions? Find something of interest? Besides getting home we'll need to figure out ways to free Darts as well. That said it means we'll have a fight ahead of us. Not just when we free Darts but if we do find a way back I have a feeling these people will stop us. Especially if we have to use the distortion above Mt. Coronet. They worship that mountain, imagine their reaction if we took their dark god to the top." He warned.

Keiko sighed, letting her insecurities fade into her psyche. The main reason she was fearful of the locals was because she was worried about ruining things by being forced to defend herself. But if conflict was inevitable... well, there's no point being afraid of the inevitable. She did smirk when Sub admitted to snooping on everyone in the team, but that didn't surprise her. The leader of a team like Snagem would need to know everything about the people working under him, and they didn't exactly have a lot of time to sit around and chat, especially in recent history.

Unfortunately, with her avoiding the natives, she was somewhat out of the loop and thus had nothing to offer in terms of getting home. He hadn't heard anything here, and she knew basically nothing about travelling through time. Or space, aside from where her feet could take her. Once again, she lamented not having her husband with her. She was certain, as nerdy as he was, he could come up with something.

Freth listened in to Sub's explanation. As he went on, part of herself lamented the fact that she didn't go out like a couple of the other hybrids did. Too worried about causing trouble when they were barely on anyone's good graces to begin with to no fault of their own. Though, frankly...the sum of it, they were on borrowed time, no matter the circumstance. Listening to Sub's plan, on the other hand, left her a bit dubious about the whole situation as well. "Well...?" Freth would softly speak up, harkening to the consciousness within her.

"Its a shaky theory at best that he is working on." the hunter spoke. "One incident involving the Giratina hybrid's freaky jacket and it gives him ideas. Once is more often than not a fluke, twice a coincidence. If this constantly happened in front of us then I'd be more willing to say investigate it to the best of your abilities. Though that's severely limited to where we are, even if you had Darts's help. The other problem you have is to Sub's admission, trying to go slip through the cracks of space and time doesn't seem to be good for Darts's health if he's having to take on passengers. You all could make it home in one peace at the expense of Darts's life, at the super optimistic best case scenario, or worse case scenario, dies in transit and lose everyone to...wherever. Whenever. The question is, does Sub know this for absolute certain? Was this straight from Darts himself? Because these temporal distortions for as any one is concerned could take someone or something to a new time within the confines of this reality. Those Pokemon could have been from any point in time, forcefully pulled in and just as easily ejected when that distortion was in effect."

"So what do you suppose we do? Just sit here?" Freth asked. "You said it yourself yesterday, we're not exactly in the best of situations to begin with. And I'm on the stance we can't exactly stay here, not with what Sub just said."

"I'm still trying to figure that out, because keep in mind, I'm in relatively the same boat as you. And if anything happens to you, I'm gone too. It's still in my best interest to keep you alive...despite whatever objections you got, at least. Though I have to admit something concerning as well, despite our current situation here and now."

"What's that?"

"The rift over Coronet."
Freth would look towards the mountain peak, seeing the gigantic crack in the sky. "It looks like a Ultra wormhole trying to form, as if something massive tried to make its way through but then gave up. I wonder if it is what's causing these smaller distortions to form in the region. I almost kind of wonder just how much borrowed time the village is running on? Who is to say that a distortion wouldn't open up over the village itself eventually?"

"Ugh, I would rather not think on that one..." Freth said.

"You might as well accept that as a possibility."
the hunter retorted. "All in all, back to the point, rather if this is something to be investigated or not, its still going to involve Darts, and considering that the village is not going to free their 'Dark God' so willingly means overrunning the village is perhaps back on the table."

"We are not doing that."

"Still worried about what would happen to this reality if you were to do that? Freth, need I remind you that you and the others being here has already changed it. These people are sure to pass tales about this down through generations and stigmatize the ever loving hell out of hybrids in particular alike. Like it or not, the damage is done."

"I would rather avoid doing any more damage than what has already been done." Freth snapped back.

"So what do you suggest? The way Sub sounded, this Kamado doesn't sound that amicable."

Freth thought for a moment, took out her Pokeballs and started to twirl about three of them about her fingers as she impatiently thought. Freth then looked at the balls, a realization coming to her. She looked back at the village, realizing the time frame and all, then stashed two of the balls back around her belt, holding up one. "Hey Sub? I might have an idea for Darts's jailbreak."

"Oh no. Are you about to-"

"Oh yea."

Monique followed the crew to the area where the hybrids—minus her—were staying. This wasn't a place to stay for long, that much was clear, and so the party left for the nearby practice field outside of the gates.

She hadn't talked to anyone and had no reconnaissance to provide, but she listened intently to Sub's explanation. Everything seemed to revolve around Darts. Who was stuck in who-knows-what conditions in the custody of this "Galaxy Team" outfit. The locals did not have technology or Pokémon ability—indeed, New Po Town was ahead of them in a few key ways—but they had superstition enough to fill the Dome. And, apparently, people who thought they ran the place Flower City-style.

"Hey Sub? I might have an idea for Darts's jailbreak," Freth piped up. When the Zoroark turned her gaze to the source of the interjection, she was holding up a Poké Ball, and Monique thought she heard a word or two after that.

"And what might that be?" Monique asked, hoping for more context. This place was not somewhere she wanted to be for much longer—that was for sure.

Amaranth was quiet as she listened to Sub's explanation of everything, trying to take it all in. She couldn't say she was keen on staying here any longer than required, apprehensive about how long Kamado's word would actually hold true. The space-time distortions and Darts' jacket, she really didn't have much to say on; both topics went a bit over her head, though what Sub was saying did sound like it made sense.

"If only we knew more about this world, maybe there is something here that could help us."

Hearing Sub's lamentation, she'd suddenly speak up, reminded of her earlier encounter with Volo last night. "What about someone who probably isn't from the village? I ended up chatting with someone from the caravan near the Galaxy Team's HQ. Part of the Ginkgo Guild merchants...? Anyway, he said his name was Volo and I feel like he knows a lot more than he lets on," she said, holding out her tiki artifact for a second. "He knew about this. Said there used to be bird tamers with them in... I guess what'd be Mt. Coronet in our time? I doubt it's the only topic he knows a lot about, but he came off like he was keeping some cards close to his chest."

Aile followed everyone out, finding a tree to sit her back against once they found their talking spot. She sat in a fairly relaxed way, resting her right arm on her knee and leaning her head against the tree as she listened to the leader with her eyes closed. One of them would open when she heard her name mentioned, just staring at him as he flinched, then gave a slight grimace as he smirked at the comment that he snooped on them all. She wasn’t a great fan of the idea that Sub knew as much as he did, though if he didn’t before, she probably caused that sort of paranoia with her… antics in the past, to put them mildly. Thinking about it that way, she couldn’t blame Sub.

Everything she took away from Sub’s long winded explanation was that Darts was the potential key to getting out of here, but they needed a way to not kill him before they could even attempt it. The woman had no ideas there, though apparently Amaranth met someone that seemed to be holding back information. That could be interesting, depending on how much he might have actually known. Though, Freth chiming in with a potential idea to get Darts out definitely piqued her interest. “Hm? Freth, what are you planning? And what help might you need?” Her remaining arm finally moved off of her knee, moving it to where her Pokéballs were held out of sight.

Wren listened as everyone began to put their gathered information on the table, taking from everyone else about the same thing as anyone had. Darts seemed to be key to all this. When he felt ready to speak up, he shifted his weight slightly and began. "I have very little beyond what Aile learned from the professor, however..." He paused for a moment and looked to Sub, then Freth, and finally to Monique. "I did learn this world seems to have at least a few Pokemon none of us are likely familiar with, possibly extinct in our world, possibly unique to this one. One example is that white Pokemon leading the Stantler herd that saved us yesterday. It's called Wyrdeer and it evolves from Stantler in this world. As far as I know, Stantler doesn't have any such evolution where we come from." He explained. "There's seem to be a few others that are unknown branching evolutions or regional variants we've never heard of and several of them are among the 'Noble Pokemon' scattered around the region. I couldn't find out anything else about those, though." He explained. "I don't think that information is going to help us get home but it does trigger a deep curiosity to look into Sinnoh's past when we finally do get home, at last on my part."

Sub, Freth and Monique seemed to be the most relevant to hear this information mainly due to the strange interactions the three had had with the Stantler herd. "If we had more time with the professor's books, we might be able to find out more but it's doubtful he'd let just anyone look at them and I'm only one person, it could take me weeks to go through everything that man's collected if he even allowed it." He sighed at this point, knowing he wasn't providing a whole lot of useful information.

When Freth spoke up, holding a Pokeball, he gave her a curious look. "I'm going to guess you're planning some kind of 'raid' by a local 'wild Pokemon'?" He questioned, eyeing the Pokeball. Freth and Blizz weren't like some of the other trainers in the team that trained mostly a single-type of Pokemon so he had to wonder, if that was truly what she was thinking, what Pokemon did she have in mind for such a thing? She seemed to be more familiar with Sinnoh's history than he could have hoped to be so just maybe she knew something no one else did and it was only now relevant? He almost began to hold his breath as he waited for her to explain, not wanting to risk interrupting or causing her to lose her train of thought before she got it out.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 12, 2022 8:12 am
"Not just any 'wild Pokemon', Wren." Freth would speak up. She would lob the Pokeball close by and allow it to pop open, releasing the Pokemon inside. A white furred Dark type that Sub was very familiar with.

"Aaaabsol." The Pokemon cried out upon release.

"Hey Absol, how you doing?"

"Sol?" The Absol spoke up.

"So. In our day in age, we know Absol to be highly in tune to nature, predicting natural disasters and things of the like. Its in their nature to generally be in a place that's about to get a new one reamed into them. Them showing up in a place is usually a warning to the area that they need to prepare for something major happening. You know; earthquakes, landslides, hurricanes, you know, things like that. However, back in the times of myth, paranoia, and ignorance to Pokemon and their intentions, you know, a place like this, Absol were severely mistaken to be harbingers of destruction. Literal white-furred divine angels of death. We're going to scare everyone right out of that building. Maybe the village too, but eh...we'll worry about that later."

"And you're talking about not trying to do damage to this reality's future." the hunter chimed in.

"It shouldn't if these people realize they've been duped after we're gone." Freth said to her.

Sub perked up as he heard Amaranth and her mention of a man named 'Volo' and the Ginkgo Guild. He had heard of the later from the commander, a guild of merchants who roam the land of Hisui in search of rarities and other wares to peddle to the people of Jubilife Village. They definitely sounded like people who would know a fair bit about this land and its mysteries simply by the nature of their work. "Once we're done here I'm going to try and find this Volo person and speak to him personally." He answered Amaranth, his gut told him there was definitely something to learn from this person.

Then came Freth's idea and the appearance of a certain Pokemon which received a mix of emotions from the Dark One, first surprise, then sorrow as it reminded him of Luna, and finally happiness as he grinned at the thought of what would happen should they carry out Freth's idea. "Oh Freth, I have to say that I think I'm rubbing off on you. That positively sounds like something I would do! I love it!" He exclaimed.

Looking back at the Galaxy Team building he begun to consider the commander again. He was definitely keeping his own cards close to his chest, would he really allow Darts to escape so easily? Sure, these people who primitive compared to themselves but look at what they managed to build in an inhospitable land, these weren't weak people nor were their leaders, this village was proof of it.

"This is what we're going to do. Freth's Absol will certainly make them panic but we're really going to sell it to them. When we know they see it Beau, Amber, Amaranth and Aile, you three cause some explosions, some gusts, and maybe a mild quake, nothing big, just enough sound, sights and vibrations to startle them. Wren, Keiko, Deo, Larrimore, and Leon, you four are going to pretend to 'defend' the village against the Absol. Look like you're rescuing people, whatever. Make them think we're on their side so by the time they realize Darts is gone they won't have a clue whether or not we were involved or not. It won't completely fool Kamado but it may cause enough confusion to slow them down. Plus I don't really want them hurt so actually try and try and protect people, make sure no one gets crushed or something." He ordered his teammates.

"Monique, I want you to disguise yourself as a Galaxy Team member and rush into Galaxy Hall and free Darts. In the panic and with your illusion no one would think for a moment to question what you're doing. He's being kept in the bottom most floor, just look for the only door being guarded." With that he turned to Freth. "Give me an hour to question the Gingko Guild and slip out of the village before you release Absol." He told her. "Once Darts is free all of you are to leave the village as well. Let's meet up at Deertrack Heights, the place Wyrdeer took us. I don't know how long I'll be but I shouldn't be gone too long. Once we meet up we'll make a plan on where to go from here. If there is anything you need from the village within the next hour you better collect it because there is no coming back after this." The man pointed out to his team.

"If we're all good I'm going to head out, hopefully I'll learn something useful. See you all soon!" He said to his teammates, giving a small wave before walking off. Larrimore would give him a nod and watch the Snagem leader leave. He himself would then remember something and approached Beauregard. "Now would be a really good time to have my-...the sword." He said to the butterfly man, he wasn't really expecting much of a reply or anything else of the sort as he begun to watch the town folks staring at them, but part of him did hope that maybe Beauregard would finally relent. That and he still had that strange feeling about the sword from earlier.

Beau had been quietly listening as they were beginning to outline what they had all done to the village over the previous day. And while he felt like there might be some materials he could use for explosions, there wasn't going to be anything to it unless they had ways to either get him close to Darts' cell or capitalize on it with others. Which, as Freth's idea with the Absol was revealed, came into sharp focus quickly. So they needed some mild anarchy and localized disasters? Well, there was the obvious for him but he knew one other Poke.on of his he could bring out to truly make it look like a world gone mad because of an Absol. And as he was beginning to plot this out, whilr his mind was settling itself elsewhere, was when Larrimore came over asking about the sword and the possibility of getting it back.

It was a perfect storm for something to alip. And slip it did.

"Larrimore, you're about a day late for that one. Unless you can recover Aile's arm, we aren't getting the sword ever again." Beau shot back with, scrambling to get out the homemade firework tube he had built a few days back. And stopping as he placed his hand on the device, what he had just said finally registering. And Beau was stuck, torn between trying to explain better or simply fleeing immediately.

"I hope you get whatever info you're looking for and I hope its useful. At this point, we're committing ourselves to this because once it gets out we're putting the veil over their eyes, we're probably for sure not coming back to this village succeed or fail. So yea, if you guys got any thing you need to do, best take care of it." Freth said to no one in particular.

"You're going on one severe gamble for a lot of unknowns."
The hunter spoke up.

"Wouldn't be the first or the last time."

"I'm aware. I wish you people would stop already."

"You can't convince me that you haven't done the same in whatever this job you had before. Surely there was a mess of things that you had to deal with traveling ultra space." Freth replied, skepticism abound.

"There was a bunch of things, but we do well to get intel. We leave next to nothing to chance if we can help it."

"If being the operative word. And if you can't?"

"Then we take as long as we need. Sometimes leaving things well alone is just as viable an option."

"Leaving Darts in a cell is no option."
