✪Walking Pokemon ⇨ Queen Bee the Combee Dallas had almost gotten over the fact that he had screwed up on his directions, and had finally gotten himself in a well enough mood. But not all the way yet. He needed a distraction, something to put him back in the state of mind had often found solace in. That is, the state of mind of a total a*****e. He looked at Queen Bee, and as soon as they locked eyes she started to babble, a slather of honey dripping from its upper left mouth. He couldn't bully the little gal; besides, Poke'mon were just...well, Poke'mon. Mindlessly hurting them was just cruel, after all. A rather half-cocked virtue for a young thug to have, but it was his own way of doing things, and he stuck to it.
Speaking of, an interesting situation came up. "Hey mister, is that your combee? Mind if I pet it?" Judging by the long hair and the outfit, Dallas thought it was a little girl that had stumbled upon the worst person to talk to. Well, ain't this brat brash? Time for a life lesson.
The thug shot a look at the kid, and smirked with a slimy smile. "Oh, you wanna see my Combee, eh?" he said kindly. He turned to face him better from his seated position, resting his right hand on the back rest of the bench. The word 'Riff' was clearly visible on his knuckles. Queen Bee looked at the kid and then back at Dallas, and decided to fly up a little, feeling that she would need to get out of the way. She stopped babbling as well, as if to warn the kid that something was up. "Yeah, why not? Sure, maybe we can set up a little play date and make some sand castles and-!" Dallas grabbed the kid's shirt, pulled in, and then shoved back violently.
"Or, you can go eat sand and mind your own business, little girl," he said with a sneer. "It'll end up a helluva lot better for ya if you do, brat." Dallas laughed loudly, and Queen Bee did as well, but for no real reason other than that Dallas was doing it, too.
It seemed the island was a pretty straight forward kind of place. The main street in deed lead them straight onto the other side of the small island. It'd taken some time, but Tay's excitement was still at 1oo%. She skipped along happily, and when the ocean could be seen again in the distance, the brunette dashed forward, leaving Avikna in the dust for a solid 2o or so feet before she finally came to a stop to look over the area below them. "There!" Tay shouted. Just barely clear in the distance a small house rested on the beach. Yea, just as she'd described it. That must be the place. Looking down at the egg hunters map they'd received Avikna noted one of the locations of the eggs was just within the mountain the lab was close to. "Two birds one stone." Avikna muttered as she caught up with Tay. "Am I really getting a starter?" She asked. A look of forlorn came over Tay's eye as she looked back to the ocean. "I'm sure Tino is happy for me." She muttered. "It's to bad he couldn't of joined us." Avikna stopped beside the teen casting a gaze to the ocean. The way Tay spoke of that Tynamo suggested something bad had happened... she wouldn't put it past her father... having used it to get Tay to play along. She felt her chest tighten and her fist clench, but then... two small hands took her clenched hand. "It wasn't your fault Avikna." Tay concoled the red-head. "Tino... Tino left because he wanted to protect me." Tay let a small mile travel onto her lips. "He wouldn't want me to be sad about his parting." Avikna looked back at Tay and gave a small nod. "You'd know more than anyone." With that, the two of them continued onward.
Tay's enthusiasm rose high once more when she knocked at the door of the Professor's lab. From within it sounded as if he were fighting with someone, but when he came to the door, Avikna couldn't see anyone inside. "Alola! What can I do you you, Cousin and Lil Cousin?" He inquired, leaning forward some with a wide white-tooth grin. "Err..." The red-head pulled a bar of chocolate from her bag and offered it up towards the man. The process of registering would take far to long... so this was the best tactic Avikna could think of on their way to the professor's lab. His eyes seemed to light up when he saw the bar, as if it was were some sort of drug that no professor could resist. "I'd like to pick up a starter for this one." Avikna spoke, resting a hand on Tay's shoulder. The young girl nodded her head rather violently. "Oh? Hmm... Well I wasn't aware of any new trainers arriving today, but... Well, you must know that us Professor's can't resist that sort of candy bar. Alright, come on in and choose one." Leading them inside, Tay was met with her three choices. A Fire-type feline, an Avian grass-type and a Water-type seal. By the way Tay greeted them Avikna'd thought she'd try to pull off getting all three, but then she abruptly snatched up the Bird and hugged it close. "This one, Avikna. I want this one." She cooed happily. "Awesome! Mahalo for choosing this to be your starting region, now he-" Avikna stepped in, holding up a hand. "She's traveling with me, I can give her all the supplies she needs." Avikna interrupted Kukui. He seemed rather unsure about that, but didn't press any further. After all trainer didn't need to accept any of the items he gave out, including the Pokedex. Giving a simple nod, Kukui wished them a safe and fun journey.

The first place to go was undoubtedly Ten Carat Hill. It was right there. Sure, it meant coming back to Route One, but he'd already known traveling by foot was going to be a hassle. If only he had a Pokemon that could use Fly....And, he actually had the capability to teach that Pokemon Fly. Such was the fate of a new trainer. Well, at least they should be breezing through at least the first couple gyms when they finished hunting for eggs. Though, that depended on how much they trained and traveled. ✪Walking Pokemon ⇨ Queen Bee the Combee Dallas was having a good chuckle at the kid with Queen Bee, but suddenly, she looked behind them, and started to get nervous. Dallas glanced over at her without seeing what the big deal was. "What's up with you? Is the kid crying for his mama-"
The blond-haired thug was slammed forward to the ground, and hit down hard. He felt into the sand, and his duffle bag flew off his back and landed beside him with a thud. He grunted as he started to get up. "Ugh...what the-" Another hit, this time across his shoulder that made his arm crumple underneath him again. "Gah! What the hell!?" Queen Bee hovered near his face, trying to make sure he was okay. In all the pain, Dallas was very, very confused. He spat some sand out of his mouth, and he had barely wiggled his big toe before he felt a stick or some such thing pressing into the middle of this back. And then there was a voice, and a simply command. Stand down.
"Stand down..." Dallas muttered the phrase. STAND DOWN?!" He growled and threw himself up off of the ground, getting the pressure off of his back. "I'm about to stand on your freaking grave, a*****e!" In a rather fluid movement, Dallas grabbed a fistful of sand, and the handle of the bat that he kept in his duffle bag in the other, and, in a dirty one-two, Dallas chucked the sand into his attacker's face before swinging the bag and the bat within with as much force as he could muster, aiming for the head.

Walking back down to Route One, the trainer and Pokemon trio took notice of some kind of fight they'd have to walk passed in order to get to Melemele Meadow. He sighed a bit, his record of just walking passed someone else's brawl without being dragged into it not being the best, but he'd try nonetheless. They did have a deadline. None the less Saru just barely avoided getting hit in the face with the thrown object. Training and instincts took over. Quickly stepping back he in one fluid motion swept the incoming object aside with his free arm avoiding the risk of getting struck full in the face as he recoiled back partly blinded while sweeping the ground with this now dislodged staff. Saru couldn't tell what but he hit something solid. Almost instantly Saru rotated to the side sweeping high with the opposite end of the staff seeking to hit chest level but if he did or didn't be left to luck.
"Master Saru!" Came the shrill voice cutting Saru's attack short. His head snapped back around to see Chibi confronted by three more persons dressed in black and white. His pan-trio had finally caught up and were blocking their advance, or at least had tried to. One thug backhanded Chibi sending him crashing to the ground before another kicked Pansear. Saru silently cursed his luck. Four team skull thugs in one, and so soon. Alola was plagued by these vermin. "Buddha guide me" Saru muttered snapping back a second later to deliver the final blow to his initial foe. He'd lost the momentum to continue his previews assault so instead Saru pivoted in place hooking the man's leg with his own and pulling it from under him before rushing to Chibi's aid.
Saru wasn't but halfway to his mark when the Team skull trio of grunts noticed him advancing and released their Pokemon, two each. Saru accepted the unspoken challenge request releasing the remainder of his team as he skipped to a standstill by Chibi's side. His Pokemon engaging in their respective battles. Saru scooped Chibi up. He a large red welt in the shape of a hand print across his face. his check swollen. Saru wasn't sure made him madder. The fact the thugs were willing to stoop so low as to hit a kid or that they were trying to steal his Pokemon. It didn't matter though. The conflict was over as long as soon as it had begun with the thugs, save the one from the bench, scrambling to escape.

✪Walking Pokemon ⇨ It looks like his sand n' bash maneuver didn't work out, but Dallas was still pretty fired up and raring to go! "Hold still, you b*****d!" he shouted. He finally got the bat out of the bag, and went for another swing. But instead, he got his legs swept out from underneath him, and he felt to the ground with a thud. He winced when he hit the ground, but when he opened his eyes, he saw the staff coming down once again. But this time, Dallas cross-blocked the blow with his bat, a smirk on his face. "Nice try!" he spat out mockingly. He kipped up, back on his feet in a quick motion. "Okay, round 2, mother-hey, where are you going?!"
The monk (who appeared to be some guy named Master Saru) was taking off towards the punk kid again, in a real hurry. "Hey! We're not done here!" Dallas started to storm off towards Saru and the battle, but Queen Bee intercepted, babbling worriedly. "Hey, hey, I'm okay, I'm okay," Dallas whispered. "You're screwing up my rep, Queenie...we'll hang out later." He returned the Combee, and took off towards the scene.
It looks like there were some other thugs looking to start trouble, and they were making it double by sending out two Poke'mon a piece. Dallas thought about getting involved, but decided to hang back, and hopefully watch this Saru guy get his a** kicked. But, as the battle started, it became clear that either these goons were total losers, or the monk was a total badass. The guy took out the opponent's Poke'mon with ease. Once the whole thing was over, Saru had went to check on the kid. Dallas swung the bat over his own back, and wrapped his arms around it in a casual way as he approached.
"Okay, Karate Kid," Dallas said with a laugh, "That was pretty rad. Looks like you're as good a battle as you are a sucker-puncher." He smirked, and glanced over at Saru's Poke'mon. "You're Poke'mon are cool, but they could totally use a good brushing or something. I mean, take some pride, dude." Dallas digressed, and let out a sigh. "Anyways, I've decided that I don't wanna kick your a** anymore, so just apologize for attacking me, and I'll be on my way."
These guardians sounded a lot like Legendary Pokemon. The Legendaries didn’t like to be around people so that was why not a lot of people saw them. From what Terrance was saying it seemed that people worshiped these guardians, and in turn these guardians protect the people. Not every Legendary was so kind but there were stories of Legendary Pokemon helping people from time to time. Well, there was no guarantee that she was going to remember the name of the guardians that inhabited each island. Perhaps she should get Terrence's information so that they could keep in contact. It was a bit alien since it would be a first. Though there was nothing like giving new things a shot! ”Say Terrence, I was wondering if I could get your number or I could give you mine and you could call me, maybe?” The girl turned as she watched the male trail behind her along with those wonderful Pokemon of his. Ah! That did remind her that she had made a promise. ”Let me introduce you to my partner though!” Taking out Venusaur’s ball Misa gave it a toss. The creature burst forth in a ball of light and stood next to the girl. The dual-type was much taller than both humans present. ”Meet my partner Venusaur! He...he doesn’t have a nickname but if he did then it would be sassypants!” The flowered creature grunted as it eyeballed the human girl. ”Go on and say hi to everyone.” Misa urged her partner to socialize a bit. Venusaur took out a vine and placed it in front of the girl. ”I don’t need to socialize with your vine, and your vine should socialize with our companions here.” “Venusaur….” ”I’m sorry about that, Venusaur is more of a Pokemon of action than of words.” She could only smile uncomfortable while rubbing the back of her head. ”Oh! But I would love to learn more about this place, wouldn’t you Venusaur.” “......” The creature looked away and just took a glance at the surrounding trees. ”Yup! He is most definitely interested.

Terrence didn't know if Misa wanted to know more about the guardians or not, but Terrence was always willing to talk about them to the best of his ability. Some visitors claimed that they were legendary pokkemon that just happened to be here at the time to save them from calamity. Terrence always denied these claims, the guardian deities were here not out of a whim, but because they want to be. There is a deep connection between them, the islands, and the people. They wouldn't just leave because they no longer want to be here, on the contrary they would never leave us unprotected. They held a deeper love for Alola than any pokemon or human. It was a foolish to think they'd just leave, at least to Terrence anyways. He turned his attention back to Misa as she called his name. It was then that she asked if she could have his number, and if he could call her sometime. A light pink dusted his cheeks, but the more he thought about it the more it made sense. It might be a good thing to have someone else to talk to every once in a while, and Misa seemed like a good person. He nodded "I don't mind, um let me write it down for you" he said, as he moved towards his bag.
He didn't have a lot of contacts as it was, just his parents number, a number for his siblings, and Ezra's number. He stared at the name for a moment longer than needed, guilt climbing back up again. He shook his head, no no no. He didn't have time to think about that right now, he'd go back after he found all the eggs. For now though Misa needed his number. Once he found it, she scribbled down the number and handed it over to her "here" he said softly, offering her the paper. It was then that Misa switched topics again and stated that she'd introduce her partner to him. He watched, interested in what pokemon it would be.
When he saw the rather large Venusaur, he could only stare. That was a pretty high leveled pokemon! He blinked as she stated he didn't have a nickname, but she'd call him sassypants if she could. Was that supposed to hint at him being sassy? He let out a weak laugh, as Misa asked him to say hi. However, it didn't seem like the grass-type wanted to be social at all. He jumped as a vine came out of no where all of a sudden, and he swore he felt one of his pokeballs shaking violently for a moment there. Uh-oh. He could feel the stare of a pokemon, and he knew which one it was. He started sweating as Misa conversed with her pokemon. Terrence really hoped nothing bad happened, he really did. Misa stated that her pokemon was definitely interested and that's when a voice spoke out "and where, do tell is he pointing that vine at?" questioned a smooth voice. Terrence groaned softly, as he turned to see Ivy staring sharply at the two in front of him "Ivy! Don't be rude" he said, hands on his hips.
Ivy seemed to look at him before ignoring him, and used her head to push him aside and behind her. Terrence voiced out a complaint, that was simply ignored again "you" Ivy said, turning her head towards Misa. The legendary studied her, before moving its eyes back towards her Venusaur. Even Ivy could tell it was a higher level than she was, still she wouldn't back down "how do you expect me to leave Terrence with you when your pokemon lacks manners, I do not appreciate his rather... bad behavior" he said, glaring at the other grass-type. Terrence flushed red embarrassed as his hands rested on Ivy's rather soft fur "Ivy! Com'mon stop that! Misa isn't an enemy!" he pleaded. Not that it mattered, she was too high leveled for him to control. This was probably going to go badly... again. Ivy looked at him "hmph, I'll be the judge of that" she stated firmly, before looking back at the other two. Oh boy.

The girl scrambled to attain the device’s number. There was indeed a function to communicate with others though she used the PC system in the Pokemon Center than the fancy device that was given. Truth be told, there may be around two to three contacts in that device. Should have someone inspected it they would have clearly seen that it was hardly used. ’Oh well, I can start somewhere and be happy with that. Maybe I can even breed his Pokemon with other Pokemon. I would just need permission from Terrance and, badda-bing badda-boom! I wonder if he wants to breed too. I wonder how breeding works for humans. Should I try it out? Ah but is breeding Pokemon and humans different? I must study this to make absolutely sure. Oh! I wonder if Terrance knows? He seems like he is a bit older than me so he must have experience! While Terrance was looking through his phone Misa popped him a question. ”Terrance, have you ever breed before with another human?”
’I wonder what’s wrong with Terrance? Is he uncomfortable with big Pokemon?’ The girl took note that some sweat was accumulating on his face. Taking out a handkerchief she stood in front of him and wiped it off his face. ”If we’re going to fast then I don’t mind slowing down. We can go at a pace that suits us both, okay?” The girl was implying that they could slow down their pacing in regards to their journey. Though the teen wouldn’t deny about showing their Pokemon to one another. Too bad the girl wasn’t a mind reader or else she may have had a better idea of what was making him sweat.
A voice broke out that didn’t belong to either she, Terrance or any of the Pokemon present. Taking a double take there was actually a rather lean and tall Pokemon besides Terrance. It didn’t look at all happy as it mentioned something in regards to Venusaur’s behavior. ’So, this is Ivy? I wonder if it is short for Ivysaur but that doesn’t make sense since it is clearly not an Ivysaur. If it is then I’ve seen a more elegant Ivysaur in my life.’ ”Well, I think originally the vine was for me. Clearly giving me sass since it didn’t want to be told what to do. Ah but that is just a part of Venusaur’s charm. I don’t think he means anything bad by it.” Venusaur was Venusaur, there was very little room to change its behavior towards others.
”I’m actually more surprised to see a talking Pokemon. I’ve heard about Psychic Pokemon using Telepathy to communicate with other people but...well, I guess it is really different seeing it for yourself.” She approached the lean figure that stood, in a sort of protective stance, in front of Terrance. ”Since this is my first time meeting you, my name is Misa and you seem to have…..umm…..seen Venusaur over there.” The girl gestured towards the 6 foot creature that was now staring off to the verbal Pokemon. ”Bad manners? I think Venusaur hasn’t had enough time to socialize with other people. He doesn’t say much to Pokemon either. I think his kindness and good nature come through when action needs to take place. I know he doesn’t have the best personality but that doesn’t make me love him any less.” The flowered Pokemon glanced away with a slight blush painted on his cheeks. ”Well….I….I’ll also be in Terrance and your care.” Misa gave a small bow towards the verbal Pokemon. ”I hope that I can receive your blessing to be with him and travel with him.” Her expression, up till now, seemed like she was lost like a child who had lost sight of its parents. ”Thank you Terrance, I’m sure….gee I don’t think I got your name. Though I’m sure your partner just wants the best for you. I can understand that since I’m sure Venusaur would do the same. I’m sure every Pokemon has a different way of showing affection to their partners.”

Terrence watched as Misa seemed to scramble for his number, did she not use the device the professor gave her for communication that often? Then again it wasn't like Terrence used it all the time either. He waited as she seemed to be doing her own thing, but he was brought out of his thoughts as Misa spoke up again. He fiddled a bit with his own calling device before Misa's words rang through his head. Had he ever breed with another human. He froze, his called device falling to the ground with a loud clank. He coughed, turning pale. What?! Did she just ask him if he.... if he did THAT with another person?! His face turned scarlet, and it was as if steam was radiating off his skin "n... no of course not!" he sputtered, embarrassed. How could she has that with a straight face? He put his face in his hands, before squatting down a bit to hide his scarlet face. He gulped "you... don't tell me you have?!" he squeaked, looking up at her. She was way too young! They both were! Mamma Terrence mode activated, and he rushed over "Misa, breeding with humans is very different than breeding with humans! You can't just... just you know... do it with just anyone! Humans typically don't b... breed until their much older, and they pick one person they breed with for life! You have to pick carefully, and... and... just... you can't breed with another human yet, ok!" he said, flailing a bit. Oh, his poor heart.
He blinked as Misa seemed to use a handkerchief to wipe his face off. He sheepishly looked at her as she mentioned that if they were going to fast that she didn't mind slowing down. He looked at the ground, still flustered from before "no! I mean, no I'm... fine" he said, a bit too loudly. He chewed the inside of his cheek, hoping Misa didn't find out about his illness, that was the last thing he needed right now.
Then the whole Ivy incident happened and Terrence had absolutely no control over it. He watched helplessly as they conversed between one another. Ivy listened closely to Misa's words, and remained silent as she talked about her Venusaur. It seemed like Ivy at least approved of Misa, if only a tiny bit more than before. Terrence rested against Ivy, trying to catch his breath a bit "Ivy is um... actually a legendary pokemon that's er... why she can use telepathy but she sort of has a mind of her own and doesn't listen to a word I say... that and she practically attacks anyone who gets close so... I'm sorry" he said weakly. Ivy snorted "if you were stronger I would listen, but you have yet to get the appropriate number of gym badges needed to prove you are worthy to command me to do anything. I am your guardian, I'll crush anyone who's a threat no matter the situation. If I deem them an enemy I won't hesitate" she said sternly.
Terrence fiddled with his fingers, still embarrassed... again. He just couldn't catch a break could he? Ivy then turned her attention back to Misa and her pokemon. She narrowed her eyes as Misa seemed to say she'd be in their care. Ivy turned her head "hmph who'd want to look after you! I already have someone I must protect, I cannot and will not care for anyone else" he said. Terrence paled "oh... oh but we can look out for one another while we're looking for eggs in the alola region! Ivy um... seems cold but... but she means well!" he said. Ivy stared at him, her eyes softening a bit before they hardened and looked back at the other two.
She watched as Misa gave a small bow and asked for her blessing to travel with Terrence. Misa then stated that her partner and her were like Ivy and Terrence and that they were the same. Terrence looked up at Ivy as he noticed a small glint in her eyes "I do not think of you as a friend girl, but... perhaps I will allow it for now. However, if I deem you are a threat, or will lead Terrence into danger I won't hesitate to act" she said, leaving the threat hanging in the air. Ivy them moved elegantly to the side, before looking back at Venusar "you should stop being so stubborn, one day your attitude will lead to your humans down fall. There are some that aren't as forgiving as I am, and won't just talk it out with you. Change is hard, but understand when it is necessary to put aside your sass for the good of your trainer" she said, before moving towards Terrence.
With that Ivy nuzzled Terrence's neck affectionately, surprising even Terrence "take care, and be careful. Your body can only handle so much before it'll break" she whispered softly. Terrence's eyes softened and he smiled softly as Ivy went back into her pokeball. Terrence stared at the ground "i'm... i'm so sorry for that, Ivy doesn't really listen to me and... and... sorry" he said, a bit shamefully. He felt bad, Ivy went too far with that talk. He rubbed his arm awkwardly "I understand if you would rather part ways" he added sadly.

Was the question so bad? From the way Terrance reacted it looked like a bomb went off or something. His face grew so red that if she were to take off her headband and compare it to his face, there might be very little to distinguish the two apart. It was rather cute actually. Of all the men Misa encountered no one actually crouched down on the ground and try to hide themselves from the rest of world. Terrance looked like a cute Ground type, like maybe a Sandshrew or a Sandslash. ’Is he choking? No, I mean he did turn pale but then he ballooned into a coral. What does one say in this sort of position?’ ”Me? I’ve never bred with a human. I mean, I always thoughts human bred once they pair up with someone. Like us! We paired up and we are on our adventure! When Ivy appeared, it seemed that a different sort of serious atmosphere took place. ”A Legendary Pokemon?!” Misa eye’s grew bigger once more as she gazed upon now a majestic creature of the Pokemon World. ”So even Legendary Pokemon will only listen if you have enough Gym Badges.” That meant that Terrance didn’t have the number of Gym Badges to be able to control Ivy. Control was not a word she would like to use. Maybe...having more Gym Badges would just help a human communicate with another Pokemon, even a Legendary. Yet, she was only exposed to the Kanto Legendaries and not other regions. Every Legendary had a role and she grew curious as to what role Ivy fulfilled.
”I understand Miss. Ivy. Should we face any trouble then I’ll do my best to help Terrance with all of my power and the assistance of my Pokemon friends.” Misa placed her hand upon her head as if she was going to salute the Legendary Pokemon. First off, it was odd to find a Legendary Pokemon with a human but it was even more odd that she was adamant about protecting him. Whatever Ivy saw in Terrance then maybe this was something Misa needed to see too. ”I’d love to do nothing more than that Terrance. I don’t mind if Ivy doesn’t share the same sentiment of watching each other’s backs. I’m more than happy knowing I won’t be alone in the region.” Venusaur, as big as he was, was already by Misa’s side with a vine around her hip. Legendary or not if a Pokemon threatened Misa then they were threatening him too. ”Venusaur, it's alright.” She placed hand atop his vine, ”I’m honored Ivy, I’ll do my absolute best to throw myself into danger before Terrance can.” “Venusaur!” The dual-type squeezed the human girl a bit tighter. There was no merit for it to see the human toss itself in harm’s way. The only who would be exposed to danger was Venusaur itself.
“Venusaur Ven Ven-saur (I’d rather be myself around the human girl and protect her from the shadows.) By this point the Legendary returned to its own human’s side and then back into its ball. Misa’s Pokemon just watched how on one side the Pokemon cold, demanding and difficult; the other side, being strange sort of kindness, was only shown to Terrance. It seemed like a lot like itself but it would have never exposed such vulnerability to anyone. ”No worries Terrance, I could tell that she meant well. Ivy reminds me of a mother so maybe Venusaur could be the daddy.” Misa laughed to herself as Venusaur unraveled its vine from around the human’s body.. ”Are you kidding? I want to stay by your side even more! After all, you still got to teach me a few things about breeding.” Misa gave a wink as she returned her partner back into its ball. Beckoning Terrance to follow.

Part of Terrence really hoped that Misa was joking, that she was just pulling his leg. However, he was pretty sue that the girl was 100% percent serious, was she really that innocent? Did her parents never have the 'bird and the bees' talk? He gulped rubbing his arm nervously as she continued to stare at him with some sort of wonder? Curiosity? It was then that she stated that she had never bred with a human, and she always thought that humans bred once they paired up. He was about to agree until she added the 'like us' part. He started at her, his mouth wide open. Misa stated that they paired up and are on an adventure and that she didn't know if she was going to pop an egg out or not while on this journey. Oh Arceus help him! He felt like he was going to faint, this girl... this girl! Terrence groaned, how was he supposed to explain this to her without practically ruining the purity she so clearly expresses? He pursed his lips, he'd better just tell it out to her straight, he didn't want people taking advantage of her in the future "Misa, you're not going to pop out an egg randomly on this trip. Yes, female humans do have eggs, but they're very different from the 'eggs' pokemon have. Plus you don't just have a child by pairing up with someone and traveling with them. Pairing with someone is very different for humans. You have to do certain... things... before you can even have a child, and even then you might not have one" he explained.
It was then that Misa asked if humans bred different than pokemon, and she did admit they weren't pokemon, but she thought they were very similar in how they bred. In a way she was right, but there were some major differences between the two species. She then added she didn't know there was even a rule for breeding. Well clearly she didn't know them. She then asked if he'd teacher her the ways of breeding and then stated that if she understood how pokemon Bred, then she might get closer to understanding how pokemon bred. Oh Arceus, this girl was impossible.
Now he was feeling uncomfortable "Misa look, didn't your parents ever talk to you about this? I mean I'm not sure that I'm the right person to explain all of this to you, and there are a lot of things about females that I don't really understand all that well myself" he admitted. He blushed further as she stated that she could trust herself to him, and that she might not be at the right age or understand a lot of things, but if she didn't get experience then how could she give advice to her pokemon partners. She then clasped his hands, before she looked him in the eyes. She then told him to teach her well. This girl was insane! He shook his head "Misa! We don't even know each other you can't just... can't just say that to a stranger! First off you have to love the person you eventually end up with, do you know anything about love? If you don't there's no way you can possibly understand the first thing about true breeding. That goes for pokemon and humans. I'm sorry, but I can't teach you how humans breed. I could probably tell you the physical bits behind it but... but real breeding comes from emotions, strong bonds. You can't just stuff two humans or two pokemon with one another and expect a baby, they need a good relationship... good connections to one another, do you understand?" he asked weakly.
Terrence was at least glad that the topic moved back to Ivy and how she was a legendary pokemon. When she stated that legendary pokemon would only listen with enough pokemon badges Terrence looked at her "just like any other pokemon, you need badges to prove you're worthy of training them. At least for the higher leveled pokemon" he chimed in. Misa then explained that she understood Ivy, and that should they face any trouble she'd help him the best she could. He gave her a grateful smile, but his frown faltered as she stated that she'd throw herself into danger before him. He clenched his fist "I don't need a babysitter! I can handle myself fine, don't go throwing yourself into danger for a stranger... I hate people who don't cherish themselves" he said, muttering the last part. It was true, he didn't need other people getting hurt for him, it made him feel nothing but sadness, guilt, and anger at himself. His life wasn't higher than anyone else's. It was sort of a childish outburst, but one he felt necessary to say. Don't be a hero, was the message he was trying to get across to her.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair, as she told him not to worry, and that she could tell he meant well. She also said that Ivy reminds her of a mother, and her Venusaur was like the father. He laughed, yeah he could totally see them having fights over the stupidest things. He blinked as she stated that she wants to stay by his side, and that he needed to teach her about breeding. He sighed, that again? He crossed his arms "just don't try to be a hero ok... and for Arceus sake i'm not teaching you about human breeding!" he added, walking towards the next area.
