Sasha was beyond sensitive by the time Indra finished singing, the beauty of it bringing tears to her eyes. This time when he kissed her, she went under the spell of seduction easily and readily. It was hours before he finally let her sleep, exhausted and sated. She also felt safe with him curled up behind her with his arm around her waist to keep her in place. He was also between her and the doorway of the bedroom. When she woke, she'd be ready to clean up the island after the fight, finish Dancer's healing, and do her usual routine around the cave. For the first time in a while, she went to sleep happy with no nightmares. Unfortunately for her and Indra, there was still a faction among the dragons that wanted to kill her, or at least claim her as a Mate to gain some control over Bane. Indra hadn't Marked her yet. He'd have to chase her in the air for that. It was instinct and was necessary for a pair to complete a mating flight to cement the bond. Knowing Sasha, she'd want Dancer and Amir on the way home before she risked leaving them here while Indra chased her in the air. It was simply who she was. Still, there was that risk... And now, for some strange reason, RRT was wanting to capture her to learn about her healing ability. Michael would do his best to secure her island home, but the core of the threat had to be taken care of. Hopefully he'd get what he needed from the priest and the rest that were left alive. Until then... Well... Until then Sasha would continue to be who she was and live her life. It was simply who she was....

Indra Indra held Sasha close as she slept, enjoying the feeling of laying with her and ensuring that she would be safe. He knew there were still threats out there that wanted to hurt her. They had stopped a major threat for now, but there were still an unknown number of dragons that wanted to kill or Mate with her in order to gain power over her father. And now RRT wanted her, too. He would need to remain vigilant in order to keep her safe, and his mind was already racing with ideas and plans for fortifying the island. But he knew that such plans would have to wait for now. Sasha was sleeping peacefully right now, and he knew that she would be pulled from that sleep if he got too worked up over everything.
Indra distracted himself from his racing thoughts by beginning to lightly trace over Sasha's many scars. He still couldn't understand why anyone would want to cause her such pain and try to ensure that no one would ever want her. But some small part of him took a bit of joy in getting to spite that monster. He truly did view Sasha as the most beautiful person he had ever met, and seeing her scars and knowing that the suffering she had been through had failed to break her spirit only made her more stunning.
He simply smiled and tightened his grip on Sasha, his eyes finally closing as he started to drift off to sleep. There were still a lot of threats to be concerned about, but that was something that could wait for just a bit. For now, he was thrilled to simply fall asleep with Sasha in his arms. Spending this time with the one he loved was the most important thing in the world to him right now. There would be time for everything else later.
Amir Amir slept peacefully with Dancer in his arms. He saw a few brief flashes of his traumatic memories, but Dancer's presence quickly chased those dark memories away. He slept through the night feeling more content and happy that he could ever remember being in his life.
He eventually woke up to find Dancer still sleeping peacefully in his arms. He smiled and watched the other male sleep for a few moments, wondering how he had gotten so lucky as to earn the other male's love. It didn't make sense to him that anyone could truly love someone like him. He allowed a frown to form for a brief moment as that thought crossed his mind, surprised that he had such a negative view of himself. He knew that it was rooted in the trauma and abuse that he had only just remembered, but he found it alarming that such negative thoughts could simply slide in without him being immediately aware.
He shook his head a bit and looked back down to Dancer, his smile returning. He pushed away his negative thoughts, deciding that they simply didn't have any place with him. Dancer loved him, and there were others who cared about him. That was more than enough to make him realize that the negative thoughts that had been forced into his head didn't have merit.
He eventually shifted their position a bit and leaned in to wake Dancer with a loving kiss. He flashed the other male a pleased smile after the kiss ended. "Good morning," he said, his voice a husky growl that he knew would tease at Dancer a bit. "I believe that a bath is in order for the two of us. We have things to do today, and I'm eager to start my day with you."

Sasha slept peacefully. That actually surprised her when she woke up. She wasn't used to not having a nightmare, so it was more than surprising for her when she didn't have one. After that thought, she felt Indra curled up around her and blamed her lack of nightmares on him. Something about him kept them chased away. Like he was protecting her even when they slept. She felt that she liked that. Feeling safe, that is. She closed her eyes and snuggled back into him a bit more as she pulled his arms around her a bit tighter. For a change, she wanted to stay in bed for a bit longer. And for someone that never slept in, that was a big change. She knew she had to finish healing Dancer. She also knew that she was going to have to help Amir as well. But she knew that it could wait for a little bit longer. For now, she wanted to enjoy the sensation of being held, of feeling safe... Dancer grinned up at Amir after that kiss, deciding that he enjoyed the playful side of the hyaena in bed with him, "Bathroom is down the hall, I'd guess. Knowing Sasha, it'll be a nice one," he said simply then pushed up enough to give Amir another kiss before he pushed his way out of the bed and led the way down the hallway to the very nice bathroom. He'd been right about that bit. Of course, he could also smell the stew Sasha had started the day before. Apparently she'd set it up perfectly enough that it was just now ready to eat. As they cleaned up, Dancer couldn't help but tease at Amir. Honestly, it was just the way he was. Well, it used to be... Amir seemed to be bringing him out of his depressive state. Still, he'd earned that state. Losing Michael had been worse than painful in so many ways. He suspected that Sasha had helped with that when she'd started his healing. He wasn't going to complain about it. For now, though... "I need Sasha to finish what she started. Then we can go back home. And on the way there, I can show you... Well, it's safe to tell you at this point..." he started but still hesitated a bit. It wasn't that he didn't trust Amir. It was just that he was very protective of his dad... "My dad... Mao...." he hesitated again but hoped that Amir would understand in the end. While he worked on talking, they dried off and headed back to the bedroom to get dressed. He smiled when Amir claimed his hairbrush and gave him his back so that he could brush his hair out, "My dad is a selkie, one of the seal shifters. He didn't die. The sea called him and he couldn't resist it anymore. It's a thing for selkies. Eventually, they get lost to the sea. I can feel it too sometimes, so I understand it. But unlike his adorable harbor seal... I got a leopard seal form... Unlike a true selkie that has a skin for their shift, mine is like my leopard or your hyaena. It's simply another form I shift into..." he spoke softly as Amir brushed his hair then let him braid it down. Once he was finished, he turned to look at him, wondering how he'd react to the new knowledge. He hoped that Amir would understand how protective he was of his dad. Even in the paintings of him, it was easy to see that Mao was a sweet and quiet kind of person. Most days, loud noises startled him badly and he absolutely hated violence. So it was easy to be protective of Mao. Also, the selkies were very, very, very secretive about themselves and what they could do...

Indra Indra slept peacefully with Sasha in his arms, though part of him was always alert for danger. He stirred when he felt her snuggle back into him and pull his arms tighter around her. He smiled and leaned in to place a kiss to the top of her head. "Good morning," he said, his voice husky from sleep. "I'm glad you decided not to get up yet. I'm enjoying getting to hold you, so I would have had to get up and pull you back into bed for a bit if you had gotten up."
He chuckled a bit and shifted their position a bit so that he could see her face. He couldn't help but smile as he looked at her. "Did anyone ever tell you how damn gorgeous you are in the morning?" His tone was light and fun, but his smile told her that he was being completely serious. He truly thought that she was absolutely beautiful.
Amir Amir couldn't help but return Dancer's grin as the other male mentioned that the bathroom was down the hall and would probably be a nice one. He happily kissed Dancer back and then got out of bed to follow him to the bathroom. He made no efforts to hide a few appreciative sounds as he followed, clearly enjoying the view quite a bit.
He let out a few growls at Dancer's teasing as they cleaned up, obviously getting a bit worked up from it. He was never great at hiding his desires in general, but Dancer was able to get him going like no one else before him. He guessed that probably had something to do with being totally and completely in love. He didn't have any reason to hold anything back anymore, so Dancer would be able to pull some fun reactions from him.
Amir immediately shifted his focus when Dancer started to talk about more serious things. He gave a simple nod as he mentioned that he needed Sasha to finish what she had started. "I think that I need that, too," he said. "She helped a lot with it already, but I think that there are still a few pieces missing and a few edges to smooth out."
He followed Dancer back to the bedroom after they got dried off and immediately claimed the hairbrush with a loving smile. He started to brush Dancer's hair in the way that he knew the other male loved, finding a bit of satisfaction in it as well. It seemed a bit strange, but he found that he enjoyed getting to give Dancer this sort of attention. He enjoyed getting to pamper him a bit.
He listened carefully as Dancer told him about Mao and found himself intrigued when he heard that Mao was a selkie. He braided Dancer's hair down and then leaned in to place a gentle kiss on his lips when he turned to look at him. "Thank you for telling me about him. I know that you're protective when it comes to your dad, so I know that it means a lot for you to be able to tell me about him and what you can do."

Sasha gave a pleased sound when Indra held her tighter and kissed her head. But when he looked at her and said she was beautiful, she blushed crimson. She wasn't used to compliments. Especially compliments on her human form. "I'm not used to that. The only compliments I usually get are about my healing skills or my scales in dragon form," she told him honestly, her voice still hoarse from the sounds he'd pulled from her last night. For all of her quiet confidence that he'd seen from her so far, it was obvious that he was seeing the real Sasha, the part of her that no one else had seen, the part of herself that she'd kept hidden. All of her usual confidence was a front, a way of protecting herself from the other dragons she healed. But right now, she wasn't hiding from Indra at all. He also had to consider that she'd been raised among humans. And among humans, she would have been concerned plain. She would have been easily overlooked among the humans since they rarely looked beyond the surface basics. Sasha was the kind of woman that might seem plain at first but was so richly warm and caring. Her looks carried a warmth and richness that one had to really pay attention to see. Her hair might be brown but there were highlights of honey and a metallic sheen to it. Her eyes might be brown as well but there was gold and bronze mixed in that made them almost magical. Her skin was lightly tanned from working on the island, but she has some adorable freckles that softened her appearance to something sweeter. Her human form had been overlooked by all but three males in total: Rail, her first mate; Cedric, her second mate; and now Indra. Considering that she was over five hundred years old, that was a lot of time to be overlooked... Dancer smiled as he leaned in to give Amir a light kiss that was as teasing as it was sweet, "Thank you for understanding about my dad. Before he left he made me promise to keep what I could a secret. He understood about close relationships and he trusted my judgement, but he asked me to give him my word on it and I didn't hesitate to promise. He meant so much to me . In a lot of ways, he was like Sasha. Only he..." he hesitated at the end. He didn't want to sound like he was talking bad about his dad but there wasn't a different way to say it. "I don't mean anything bad by it but... In truth he wasn't as strong as Sasha is. I know she inspires others to protect her just by being herself. With Mao... He was..." he hesitated again because his dad wasn't weak. Not at all. He just was strong... Part of him felt bad for how this was coming out but he just didn't know how to say any of it right. It was frustrating for him because he truly loved his dad. In so many ways, his dad was the best mom he'd ever seen and he didn't think badly of him in any way. But Mao was truly a good parent, just not a strong person. Even after being safe on the island for so long loud noises startled Mao and he was afraid of being alone. The only call Mao couldn't resist had been the ocean...

Indra Indra couldn't help but grin at Sasha's blush, finding her even more beautiful when she did. He gave a soft chuckle when she mentioned that she wasn't used to compliments because the only compliments she would were about her healing skills or her scales. "That's a shame," he stated. "Your healing skills are incredible, and your scales are stunning. But anyone who thinks that's all that's beautiful about you just isn't really looking at you."
He leaned in to press a quick kiss to her lips, his fingers trailing over her body. When he broke that kiss, he had to give her another grin. "You're going to have to get used to compliments, Sasha. Because you're so unbelievably beautiful."
His fingers trailed up and gently moved through her hair. "Everything about you is stunning. The slight metallic sheen to your hair that makes it glow in the right light. Your eyes that are just magical. Your adorable freckles."
He leaned in to place a few quick kisses along her body, drawing her attention to a few of her scars. "Can't forget about the scars, either. Someone tried so hard to make you unappealing to anyone, but all they did was create a display of your true nature. After everything you've been through, you're still so kind and loving and willing to help others. You've got one of the biggest hearts and most indomitable spirits of anyone I've ever met. Even after the pain you've suffered. So be ready to hear lots and lots of compliments from me. You're the most beautiful person I've ever met, and I don't plan to let you forget it anytime soon."
Amir Amir let out a soft growl at the sweet and teasing kiss, finding himself distracted for a brief moment. He gave a quick nod when Dancer spoke and thanked him for understanding about his dad. "Of course, Dancer," he said softly. "I know how much he meant to you. It means a lot that you feel comfortable telling me about him."
He was quiet for a bit as Dancer considered what he was trying to say about Mao. He placed a kiss to Dancer's forehead. "I get what you're trying to say. He wasn't strong in the same sense as others. But there are a lot of types of strength. It sounds like his strength was in things like being a parent. And that's not a bad thing. He wasn't weak. Just strong in a different way."
As he finished speaking, he had a few brief flashes of the time he was still missing. His hand moved up to rub at his throat without any sort of thought, almost like he was checking for something as he seemed to zone out a bit. He blinked a few times and returned to the moment with a sheepish smile. "Sorry, I think I kind of disappeared for a few seconds. Like I said before, there are still a few edges to smooth out."

Sasha, of course, blushed again at his words and kisses. She couldn't help it. But she did give a shy smile as she cupped his cheek so she could meet his eyes. "Just keep telling me, Indra... Tell me until I can see myself through your eyes instead of my own," she said in a soft whisper then lifted her head to give him a soft kiss. Her statement said a lot about how she saw herself and how she'd been treated over the years. After she pulled back she gave him another small smile, "I need to finish healing Dancer and Amir so they can go home. We need time for us. And I think it's about time that I demanded something from everyone that comes to me... We need time for us..." she added softly, coming to a decision that she was going to take a break from everyone except for herself and him. Basically, she was going to put up a proverbial vacation sign. She gave him another light kiss then got up to get dressed. Dancer moved to hug Amir, grateful that he'd understood about Mao. Of course, Amir was likely to get a bit of a shock when he finally his seal form. After a quiet moment of that simple hug, he pulled back and pressed a kiss to his forehead, "Come on... Let's finish getting dressed so Sasha can finish healing both of us," he said softly. Of course, he deliberately didn't say anything about how he'd been adding his own healing to Sasha's so far. It was simply his way. Much like her, Dancer didn't like anyone to realize what he was doing. It was healing. It was meant to be unnoticed. He turned away and collected his clean shorts to slide them on. He wouldn't need a shirt until they were ready to leave. And he likely wouldn't need the shorts for the last of the healing, considering where he needed the last bits done. The damage to him below the waist had been very... inventive...

Indra Indra chuckled as he saw her blushing again and gave her a loving smile as she cupped his cheek. He listened to the words she whispered and gave a simple nod. "I'll tell you as many times as it takes," he said. "I'll tell you again and again every day for the rest of our lives if that's what it takes. And I'll never get tired of doing it."
He returned her soft kiss and then placed a kiss on her forehead once she pulled back. "I think that sounds like a good idea. You've done so much for so many, even when you were hurting. You've earned your chance to demand a bit of time for yourself. There are things that I know that we want to do now that we're together, and I don't plan to let them get interrupted for a bit. Things like our mating flight. And putting your playroom back together."
He watched her for a moment after she got up, not bothering to hide that he was enjoying the view. He eventually got up as well and pulled on a pair of dark pants. He moved up behind her and placed a kiss on the side of her neck. "I've got a surprise in mind for you for a bit later. I'll wait until after you've done what you need to for Dancer and Amir. But just know that you have something to look forward to."
Amir Amir hugged Dancer back, taking a moment to simply enjoy having the other male in his arms. He gave a simple nod when Dancer suggested that they finish getting dressed so that Sasha could finish healing them.
He froze for a moment as he caught another flash of a memory that he wasn't quite ready to face just yet. He gasped as he felt the sting of a blade sliding into his throat and coughed a bit as he came back to reality and realized that he was fine. He rubbed at his throat for a moment and took a deep breath. He just had to deal with the flashes for a little bit longer. Everything would be fully unblocked and dealt with soon enough.
He shook his head and found his own clean pair of shorts and moved to slide them on. He turned back to Dancer and offered his hand with a smile. "I'm ready when you are."

Sasha gave a shiver when he kissed her neck, giving him a nod as she reached for one of her sheath dresses. This one was in a pale bronze as she slid it over her head, not bothering to put on anything else. Of course, that revealed that she'd been wearing these simple dresses that way the entire time he'd been here... "You can do anything you like, Indra. This is your home as well," she said simply as she started brushing out her ankle-length hair then braided it down so that it would be out of the way. She turned to head for the door but paused there briefly with a small teasing smile, "I just hope that you can catch me in the air. I had to let Raid and Cedric catch me. After I was hurt originally, I learned to fly better. Now, only Ebony can catch me in the air. And she has to use the shadows to cheat," she informed him in a slightly prim tone. It was a minor challenge for her to issue. Then again, dragons tended to thrive on challenges... Then she was out of the room and headed for Dancer and Amir. Dancer let a small tendril of magic tease at Amir to help him past the pain but pulled it back when he came back. He covered it by sliding on his shorts then opening the door to see Sasha headed their way. He simply nodded when she motioned.for.them to follow her into the healing cave and take their places on the central island, "I'll finish healing both of you now, so lay down there. Dancer, lose the shorts. I'll need to see the rest of the physical damage," she looked at the other male and gestured to where she wanted him while Dancer slid his shorts off then laid down, "Amir, lay there so that you'll be with Dancer but not touching. I don't trust him to not try to help more than he already has. For you, I'll be finishing what was started yesterday. You'll go through the flashbacks but you must remind yourself that it's a memory. It has already happened and you cannot change it. You can only change who you are now. I'll also be enhancing your healing talent and sliding in a bit more healing knowledge to help you along," she informed him as she moved to each crystal around them and channelled her healing magic through them. "I'm also adding a stronger compulsion to sleep. The less you two move the easier and faster this will be," she added then headed for the last crystal. "Oh! And Amir? If your parents show up, tell them to come see me. I have a few choice words for them after Sebastet is finished with them," she finished, then sent them both to sleep. She tapped the last crystal then moved to both males as they fell asleep. She touched both their chests and closed her eyes. The crystals enhanced her ability to heal to the point that she was able to heal them both fully within moments. But she left them asleep until they woke naturally. Finished, she headed back to the living area and checked on the bread, noting that it was ready to bake. It didn't take her long to get that sorted out and baking. When the boys woke up, she'd be able to feed them before they left. She finally pulled out the sweet tea from the cooler and poured glasses for herself and Indra.

Indra Indra couldn't help but give a michievous grin when he saw Sasha put on her sheath dress without putting anything else on first. He realized that she'd been wearing them this way the whole time he'd been here, and he decided to keep that in mind for later.
His grin didn't falter as she told him that he could do anything he liked because it was his home as well. "Oh, I'm so going to enjoy the knowledge that I can do anything I like," he said, his tone teasing. "I've never really been one to hold back on my desires when given free reign. Especially when it involves a woman as gorgeous as you."
He gave her a teasing wink before she turned around and had to chuckle when she paused and gave her teasing statement. He knew that he was going to enjoy himself quite a lot very soon.
As she moved to work on Dancer and Amir, Indra started to look around the cave for the materials that he would need for the surprise that he had in mind for her. He found a cluster of crystals near the entrance and knew that they would be absolutely perfect.
He moved back into the living area as Sasha was pouring glasses of sweet tea for the two of them. He slipped up behind her and placed a kiss on the top of her head before taking one of the glasses. "I found exactly what I need for the surprise I mentioned before. So when you're ready, I'll show you exactly what I have in mind."
Amir Amir followed Dancer over to the door and then nodded at Sasha as she motioned for them to follow her. He moved to lay down where Sasha indicated and worked to get comfortable despite his nerves. He listened carefully to what she had to say and gave a simple nod. "I'll make sure to remember that," he said softly.
He was a bit surprised by Sasha's statement to send his parents to see her if they showed up. He tried to think up some sort of response, but he wasn't able to before she put the two of them to sleep.
As he slept, he found himself in the memories that had been locked away. He had already gained back a fair amount, but he found himself suddenly reliving so much more than he had realized was possible. He moved through years of abuse that he had been made to forget, doing his best to keep Sasha's words in mind about them being memories that had already happened.
He started to lose himself in the memories as he arrived at the moment he had been having flashes of. He fully remembered the moment that he had driven a silver blade through his own throat in order to share that damage with the man that he had once loved. He remembered staying conscious just long enough to make sure the b*****d died, and then he remembered waking up in despair because he hadn't wanted to wake up at all.
All of the memories started to run together and overwhelm him as he relived the years that Ra had spent trying to put him back together. But somewhere in the middle of all that time, he managed to force himself to remember that these events had already happened. He was able to think of Dancer and realize that all of this pain had ultimately led to him meeting the man that he loved so completely now. That allowed him to finally relax and accept the horrible things that had happened.
His body fully relaxed as he slept, reliving and understanding all of the things that he had been made to forget. While the pain had been excruciating, he knew that it was important to remember it all. He couldn't change all of that, but he could learn and grow from it.

Sasha shivered when Indra walked up behind her and slid his arm around her, loving the way it made her feel safe and loved. At his words, though, she shook her head and gave him a small smile over her shoulder, "Surprise me with it, Indra. I know that I'll love it, no matter what it is," she said softly as she leaned back into him. She closed her eyes as she felt his arms move to hold her against him and had to smile again, "I feel so safe with you... I've felt safe since you arrived. Even when that gastly priest was trying to kill me I knew you'd come and save me. You make make me feel safe, Indra... In truth, I haven't felt that in a long time," she told him, pulling his arms around her a bit more, "I feel loved as well. I missed that and I didn't know it until I woke up with you holding me. I loved my mates, don't get me wrong on that. But what you make me feel is so much more than that," she finished that in a whisper as he held her. Such a simple thing, to just be held and be content with that. But she also wanted to curl up with him in dragon form in the sun on the beach. She wanted to see if he could catch her in the sky. She wanted to see what his skills were in the playroom. She wanted meals with him. She wanted to sit in the living room and read with him doing the same in contented silence. She wanted years upon years with him... And she wanted his Mark on her shoulder... But for now... She wasn't sure how long they stood there like that. It felt like just a moment but the smell of the bread baking beside the fire told her that at least an hour had passed. She finally pulled away with obvious reluctance and moved to get the bread before it burned, setting it on the table to cool. She finally gave him one of her softer smiles and moved up on her toes to give him a kiss to his cheek before she went to check on her patients. She found Dancer awake, dressed in his shorts and sitting with his eyes on Amir. She didn't say anything to him. She simply crossed to Amir and placed her hand on his forehead with her eyes closed, passing the healing knowledge to him. She had a feeling that Amir would need the extra knowledge. She also gave his healing ability a big boost while she was at it. As she pulled back, she saw Amir's eyes blinking open and smiled at him, "Good... Now, Dancer has something to show you. Then you both need to eat before you go back home," she told Amir softly as she headed for the living area to set the table. Dancer got to his feet and offered a hand to Amir to help him up then led him outside to the beach. There, he gave Amir a brief kiss as he shed his shorts then turned to walk into the water. He walked out until the water was to his chest then dove in, silently enjoying the water around him as his shift happened. He swam for a brief moment then breeched up out of the water before diving again. After another moment, he moved up onto the beach, revealing that his seal form was huge. While his leopard was closer to the wild animal in size, his leopard seal form was easily half a size larger than the wild animal. A natural leopard seal could reach eight feet long and was bulky enough to deter an orca. Dancer would make a pod of orca think twice... He leaned his head in and tilted it at Amir for a moment then twisted his head to look at him sideways in a playful movement. All playfulness aside, Dancer would be lethal in the water. But he was showing Amir that he'd never harm him, that he was still the same playful leopard. Sasha, meanwhile, set the table for the four of them. The stew was ready and the bread would be cool when Amir and Dancer were ready. But she had a feeling that Dancer's seal form would solve a few teasing comments Indra had heard from Cassius over the years. Dancer loved swimming with the Siren. But leopard seals weren't usually found in these waters. They were usually found further south in icy waters...

Indra Indra returned Sasha's smile and gave her a simple nod as she told him to surprise her and that she knew she would love it. "Oh, I was always going to surprise you," he said, his tone light and playful. "I simply need to know when you're ready for me to show you what the surprise is."
He wrapped his arms around her and held her against himself, taking the time to enjoy just holding the woman he loved. While he loved showing his skills in the bedroom, he found that he loved just getting to hold her and make her feel safe even more. She was the most precious person in the world to him now, and he wanted nothing more than to give her the love and safety that she deserved.
"I'm glad that you feel safe with me, Sasha. That's one of the things I want for you more than anything else. I will do everything in my power to make sure that you'll always feel safe and loved. Because you are both of those things. And I plan to show you that over and over for the rest of our lives."
He lost track of time for a while as he simply held her, though he was sure to remain aware of his surroundings to make sure that there wouldn't be any threats to her safety. He eventually came back to full awareness when he caught the scent of the bread baking and allowed her to pull away, clearly just as reluctant as she was.
He smiled at her kiss to his cheek and kept an eye on things while she checked on her patients. When she returned, he helped her to get the table set for the four of them, occasionally pausing to give her quick kisses to her cheek just so he could see her blushing and smiling.
Amir Amir was able to fully work through his memories as he slept, learning what he could from the experience of the years that he had lost. And once he had made it through everything, he finally woke up, blinking as he focused back on the present. He heard Sasha's voice telling him that Dancer had something to show him. He gave a simple nod and then sat up, blinking as he adjusted to being back in the present.
He smiled when Dancer offered a hand to help him up and took it, getting to his feet and stretching a bit. He followed him outside to the beach and returned that brief kiss before watching Dancer walk into the water.
He watched with obvious interest as the other male dove into the water and had to smile as he moved onto the beach and revealed just how huge his seal form was. He laughed a bit at Dancer's playful movement and reached out to rub his head. "You know, I've never considered a seal beautiful before, but you've definitely made me reconsider that now," he said. "You really are something special."
He couldn't stop himself from smiling and laughing as he looked over Dancer's seal form. He was just so charmed by it and genuinely found it to be beautiful. And he was just so happy that Dancer had shown it to him.

After that bit, Dancer shifted back to his human form and reached for his shorts with a grin, "Thank you for that. I think the leopard seal is one of the more sleek versions, and the deadliest. But I may be partial to it. At least I'm not shaped like a dumpling like the harbor seal..." he teased just a bit as they headed back inside. Just inside the cave, he paused to look into Amir's eyes for a moment. He finally smiled when he saw that he was at peace with his past. Dancer didn't ask any questions. He didn't need to. As long as Amir was at peace with it, he didn't need to know until Amir was ready to talk about it. He finally led them the rest of the way inside just in time to see Indra give Sasha a kiss to her neck and had to chuckle at the sight of her blush, "You know, I think she's even more beautiful when she blushes like that..." he teased, unable to resist it as he got to the table. Sasha gave Dancer a playful growl, "Cheeky boy... We'll see how well you blush later on when I decide to tell Amir how much trouble you were as a boy," she shot back at Dancer playfully. Dancer just laughed over it, "Go ahead and tell him. I'll just mention that I caught part of your Mating Flight with-" whatever else he was going to say was muffled when she put a hand over his mouth with wide eyes and a very red blush. In truth... Dancer had caught the end of her Flight with Raid and the beginning of the one with Cedric... So he did have some embarrassing stories about her... Dancer just chuckled and pulled her hand down to give her a kiss to her cheek, "I'll behave," he promised her softly then sat down next to Amir as she served them all dinner. It was a nice meal, full of laughter and a mark of the kind of home she deserved. Her home had been quiet for so long.... She missed the sound of laughter and stories in her home...

Amir Amir grinned back at Dancer as the other male pulled his shorts back on and thanked him. He chuckled when he heard Dancer's comment about not being shaped like a dumpling. "Oh, I think that I'm probably a bit biased towards the leopard seal now," he said, his tone a bit teasing. "Though for what it's worth, you would make a cute dumpling."
He looked into Dancer's eyes when the other male paused just inside the cave, making no effort to hide anything from him. He past had been painful, but he was truly at peace with it now. It had led him to where he was now, and he would always be grateful for that. He could handle the pain.
He followed Dancer back inside the rest of the way and laughed as he saw Sasha's blush and heard Dancer's teasing comment towards her. He looked rather amused as Dancer and Sasha went back and forth for a moment, grinning as the exchange ended with Sasha blushing like crazy and Dancer promising to behave. "Don't worry, Sasha. I'll make sure to punish him for that later," he said with a wink.
Indra Indra chuckled as Dancer moved inside and made the comment about Sasha being even more beautiful when she blushed like that. "You and I are in full agreement about that," he said, grinning.
He quite enjoyed the teasing between Sasha and Dancer, glad to see her so playful and enjoying the company. He laughed when Dancer's comment was interrupted by a very red Sasha putting a hand over Dancer's mouth. He placed a kiss on her cheek as she sat down for the meal. "I like the playfulness. Can't wait to see more of it."
He enjoyed the meal and the stories and laughter that came with it. And he could see just how happy it made Sasha to have her home filled with these sounds again. He decided to take note of that and figured that he would have to invite some guests at some point so that he could give her the kind of home she really deserved.
