Michael didn't think, one moment he was being lunged at, the next he had dropped to the floor, his fingers somehow grasping the knife that had been thrown at him earlier. He thrust the blade forward, he could only hope it was destined in the weak point her had created.

The creature let out a shriek that would numb the mind of any sane human as the dagger pierced right through the dented chitin and into its soft organs. It lurched back, its arms flailing wildly, dark purple ooze seeping from the wound. With a grand heave, the creature fell out of the window to its demise.

The wail the creature screamed as it's mortal blow took effect felt like a nail being driven into Michael's skull. Then, the creature was gone out the window. Although a great deal of fluids had been left behind.

Michael picked himself up off the ground, the dagger still somehow in his hand. Its blade covered in gunk. He placed it on a table, not really sure what else to do with it. He raised a hand to his face, the wound had closed, but he could tell that even if it were a normal gash, it was going to scar. Well... Chicks dig scars don't they? He blinked the rest of the blood out of his eyes, and calmly walked back to the room Metis had claimed.

He looked like a mess, his shirt and suit torn up and covered in that purple fluid and his own blood, his blonde hair streaked with the now-drying fluids as well. And of course, a gash that ran diagonally from his left cheekbone, skipping over his eye luckily, through his eyebrow, stopping about an inch from his hairline.

[Red Gypsy]

Wind entered the suite with Aten and winced when he saw all the blood, knowing most of it was Blade's. But he followed the trail anyway and noted all the damage as well as the mess the dead creature had left behind before it finally died.

In the bathroom, he noted the damage to the tiles where Blade had hit the wall and the damage the creature had done to the tub. In the bedroom, the mattress was a total loss and there were burned holes all over the floor.

He gave a heavy sigh as he looked at it all, "She fought hard... It's going to take at least a week to fix all of this..." he said softly, finding himself a bit lost at the moment.

But he was saved from too much cleaning when a bevy of servants appeared in the living room with cleaning supplies, all apparently determined to fix the place for Blade and Anube. The sight of their caring and sympathy brought tears to his eyes and left him unable to say anything as he looked at Aten for help...

"In the mean time we can ask Snow if they can stay in her spar room or let them have ours" Aten said going to him and hugging him, "You can let it out its not good to hold it in." He smiled and mouthed and thank you to the maids before he moved Wind to sit with him on the window sile. He sat there hugging Wind as he let the servants start the cleaning. It would be a lot of work but they would get things down. Fixing the room would not be hard it would be the pain and loss every one would feel.

Wind knew Aten was right but he didn't want to cry anymore. He wanted to yell and scream and tear apart the remains of the creature on the ground below them. He wanted revenge for what had been done to his sister, he wanted to kill someone over this.

But he wasn't that good at killing or revenge. That had always been his sister's thing.

So he simply let Aten hold him for now, relaxing into his strong arms as he watched the servants clean up the blood and gore, remove the mattress and replace it, heard them working in the bathroom to repair the damage in there. The smells of the attack were replaced with the simple scents of the cleaning supplies and the clean air as it moved into the room.

He didn't know how long they sat there but knew he'd have to go down to look the creature over soon enough. He just didn't want to do it alone or he knew he'd do something bad. Like lose his temper over the blasted thing...

"Shall we go to see how we can get that thing out of here?" Aten asked after a bit. All he could do was came Wind down and make sure he did not lose it but it seemed every one here was upset and need to work off angry or cry out pain. He had watched the servants clean away happy to see every one here to help out. "If you like I could go move it so you can sit and rest" he said smiling the best he could. He was trying to stay happy for his love and be his strong support.

((It's on the ground outside the window))

Wind shook his head a bit and gave him a tender kiss to thank him for his support right now, knowing he couldn't get through this without him, "Let's go down and look at it. We'll leave it for Anube to destroy, but I need to see what I can of it so we can defend against it if more of them show up," he said simply and kept Aten's hand in his as they both went outside to look at the creature.

He let go of Aten's hand as he approached the thing and looked it over with his eyes and his magic and finally moved away from it with his mind in turmoil over it, shaking his head slightly as he pulled Aten into his arms again, "That thing was literally a nightmare made real. Sent specifically to attack Blade. The more it attacked, the more it evolved. She was beyond lucky to have gotten away from it with her life..." he explained in a shaky voice, not sure how they could defend against nightmares...

Aten was a little uneasy looking at the dead thing for it mad him even shiver in a little fear. He blinked and wrapped his arms around wind before his eyes went wide with what was said. "A...A..nightmare" he said taking it rather hard to believe. He looked at the thing as he hugged Wind not sure what to think or say. Nightmares where things you dreamed off and could wake up from when they got bad. "How and who could create something like that?" he asked, "What if more come?"

Wind held him a bit tighter and pressed a kiss to his head, "I don't know Aten... But it will have to be dealt with those who are better than I am with magic... We'll leave the thing for Anube to destroy and get back to check on the cleaning and repairs to their suite, give them a little more time together alone," he said softly, fighting his own shivering over the thing.

But he lead him back inside and they both collected clothing for Anube and Blade then closed up the nursery until they were ready to try again...

Aten nodded and gave him him a big hug for he was still scared and worried. If some one could make things like that every one was in danger. Following him back to the suit he nodded to the servants for they where doing a really good job. He wish he could help with magic or do some thing useful but a naga could only do so much and fire was only helpful in some thing. "you think they will every open that door after this?" he asked wind as he watched him close the nursery door. All the work went in to that room and the love and now it hurt to even look at the door.

Wind gave him a kiss and nodded, "Eventually, yes, they'll have to. They'll have children again. You'll see," he assured him softly as he put the clothes into a bag to take to the other room for them.

He was about to leave when Anube came in. He didn't approach him, though, not too sure about his reception just yet. Instead, he simply gestured to where the thing was, grateful that all the signs of the attack were gone from the room.

"It's out there. I left it for you. I know what it is and I'll explain it to Sebastet later," he told him simply then raised the bag, "I got some clothes for you two..." he hesitated there again, silently hoping that Anube didn't hate him for not getting here in time...

Anube looked to where he point before going to wind and placing a hand on his shoulder and giving it a squeeze. "Thank you" he said, "I mean it too thank you for every thing." He knew there was nothing no one could do. It the thing had cut off his bomnd with Blade the twins bond could be too. He did not blame Wind but was thankful for his help and letting him use his room and bed. "Please get back to your sister and take her some food. She still has not eatten today" he said heading to where the thing was, "I left some ...friends watching over her for now."

As he headed out and looked down at the thing he could feel a deep hateredfulled growl roll out of his throat. This thing hurt his beloved and killed there twins. He was going to make sure there was nothing left off it. Some of the servant kept away from the area as he left his full demon form out and he let out a roar as black, red and blue flames covered the area. As it melted and burned it smell like rubber, flesh and many horrible smells as Anube burned right down to the under layer of the ground. Once down he took his human form again as he looked at the deep burned hole he left.

Wind gave him a simple nod, his eyes tearing up at his words. He put an arm around Aten's shoulders and lead him from the room then requested that the naga see about the food. Aten was better with the servants, after all, and he knew Rebecca.

Wind simply went to his rooms and curled up with his sister. And the cats.

When Anube was done, one of the gardeners was waiting with a wheelbarrow of soil and a shovel. He was an older human man and said nothing as he simply pushed the wheelbarrow forward and started to fill in the hole, behind him, a bunch of flowers that he apparently intended to plant in the spot as well.
