"At any rate, you know I'd never sleep with another woman or do anything to hurt you if I can help it." Van said interlacing their fingers as he held her hand, looking down at Mala and then up at the sky wondering if she was looking at something.

"I know you wouldn't, which is why that isn't a problem. You also know that the same goes for me, right? I'd never cheat on you or hurt you in any way." Mala said with a smile. Above them, only the clouds seemed to roam. Mala was simply admiring the scenery.

"I know you wouldn't do something like that. It would go against your morals and very nature." Van said watching the clouds float by. Somehow the sky had seemed brighter since learning of Mala's pregnancy, even if he spend a brief period in the excitement/shock/panic state that most soon-to-be dads often went through after hearing the news.

Mala's smile grew all the wider. She enjoyed the moment of warm silence that followed, pleased simply by Van's company and affections as well as the thought of what kind of future they might be able to make for their soon-to-be-born child.

Mala's eyes widened slightly as her cheeks rosied up to a bright red as she realized something embarassing - she hadn't the foggiest as to what to name their child. "No...I haven't." she admitted shamefully.

Van led Mala by the hand through the mass of people, a good deal of which were crowding around an announcement board of sorts. "Looks like the want ads..." he said scanning the list for some decent work with decent pay.
