hi, i have started a writing contest! care to join in?

Alright here is my writing. ^ ^;

Down I walked the cracked sidewalk to the place I lived 10 long years ago. The street sign was tainted with paint, and the house I had lived in all those years ago was now falling apart. People looked out their windows as I walked past, and doors slammed shut. Nothing had really changed at all. Everyone that lived here wanted to leave, but they really don't know how good they have it.

morning:
bill just woke up. he feels like he was hit by a train. checking his head-splitting migraine he notices he's bleeding. looking at his pillow, bill notices that it's covered in blood except for the void where his head was.

"what time is it?" it's 7:32. he's starts his sophomore college year at nine.

as bill washes the blood out of his hair he remember the strange dream from last night. it was a towering building cover in a shade of malignant purple..

after breakfast, he heads out. upon arriving there, he's tackled from behind

The dragon, looking over the young girl intently, was quite young. Araasa was but 2363 years next summer, but that was no matter, as the girl shifted in her sleep. Araasa started, what was she going to do? She was not to be seen until everything had been explained to the girl by her sister, Nihilia. She backed into the dark closet as Serinas eyes flicked open.
Serinas groaned and rubbed her forehead as she sat up, "What an odd dream," Araasa couldn't fit in the closet, "I thought I saw a dr-" Her voice cut short as she took sight of Araasa. [to be continued if it's good]
