"I don't know. I just..." Ariae trailed off, clearly still insecure about herself and her chances of being tossed aside. After a moment, she seemed to forget what she was going to say as she said, "I don't want to talk about this anymore. Can't we do something else?"

"Your wish is my command." Jaquel said happily. It was clear the man was in pamper/'oh-god-I'm-sorry-please-take-me-back-I-love-you' mode.

Ariae kissed Jaquel on the cheek in gratitute before reaching for her glass and the wine bottle. She was getting herself another drink.

Ariae pouted, most displeased that she wouldn't be allowed any more alchohol tonight. "What else should I do, then?"

"I'm sure you can find something to do that doesn't involve drinking. Any more and you'll get yourself sick." Jaquel said, trying not to sound like he was scolding her too much.

"Take me to bed, then. I'll just sleep it off and drink more later." Ariae said, still keeping herself cuddled close. Her cheeks were bright red from all of the drinking, and she still had problems speaking without slurring her speach.

"Good enough I suppose." Jaquel said with a sigh before picking her up in his arms and carrying her to her room where he gently laid her down on the bed. "Sweet dreams then." he said kissing her on the forehead while she wasn't in her hateful state before leaving the room.

Jaquel stopped and looked back at her, a little surprised at first before he smiled warmly at her. "That's either the alcohol talking or you're finally starting to warm up to me again." he said as he walked back and sat on the edge of the bed.

Ariae crawled over to Jaquel, offering a small hug as she murmured, "I don't want to be alone. Stay with me."

Ariae smiled slightly, keeping herself snuggled up close to him. "Will you lay with me?" she asked. This could be taken for something completely dirty, but she intended it to be purely innocent. All she was asking is that he would stay beside her, at least until she fell asleep.

"Of course." Jaquel said with a kind smile before he lay down next to her. He'd known her a long time, so he figured it was nothing dirty that she had in mind.

Ariae cuddled close and clung to Jaquel, eventually allowing herself to close her eyes and drift into a state of light slumber.
