Kyla is playful, sassy, with a quick wit and a dry sense of humor, a girl many find too hot to handle. She is most definitely the 'man' in any relationship and the pants are a slim size 6, thank you very much.

Cier & Kyla: The two met by accident, or rather they met because of an accident. Kyla came across a very pathetic and tangled Cier hanging about four feet off the ground in a Massi hunting net. Seeing the attractive female, Ciar tried to play off his predicament and only succeeded in sticking his paw in his mouth. Faintly amused at the devil-may-care male, Kyla decided to take pity on him and help him down, but not before making him ask nicely of course. Since then the two have been a pair, at first with only Cier terribly enamored of the sassy and independent Kyla, but like any foot fungus, the boy grew on her and now the two are not only best friends, but perhaps becoming something more.
Kyla and Cier were sent with a few others from the pack at the same time as the Queen's youngest daughter was, they went in the opposite direction to the princess, scouting for possible new lands to settle. They were gone many months, and never found an area that was quite suitable. Kyla and Cier however, did find something else on their travails, romance. It was during this period that the pair fell in love, and Kyla got pregnant. When she realised her weight gain was not from over eating, she finally suggested the small band turned round and headed back home. They arrived at the old land only to find the pack gone, but with Kyla a Dame, her Ranger mate, another ranger and a knight, the band were able to track the trail left by the survivors and finally found those few that were left of the old pack, just in time for Kyla to give birth to her twin boys.
The birth went smoothly and the twins grew well.
Current Options
1) The tiny pack prospered for a time but the devastation of their original home had not been the end of their troubles. The tiny number of survivors that had managed to escape had simply not been enough to keep the old pack alive and as their numbers dwindled further, eventually all that was left was a few dusty dens and the slowly aging pawprints of those that had been the last to leave. Kyla and her mate had stayed as long as they could, hoping, waiting, praying for their pack to return. But their sons both grew up and moved away in search of mates for their own, new lives and most necessary, better hunting. Finally Kyla and Cier had no choice but to leave, for the last time, the place that had once given them a glimmer of hope. The few herds had moved away, driven off the mountain slopes by harsh weather and a lack of green. The two dogs had no choice but to follow their prey into new and unexplored lands.
For a time the pair travailed, content if not happy, together they were each others support and encouragement. Then one night Cier went missing. Kyla searched frantically, tracing every lead, examining every track. The day she came across the remains of a human camp was the day her heart truly broke. For there in the dirt was a lone pawprint. Over the next few months she kept searching but as the seasons waxed and waned her desperate hope grew thready and then dim. There was never a single new sign of her beloved, no scent, no mark, no half-eaten kill. She scoured the hillsides, the valleys, the mountains. Finally, as yet another year slowly faded into the dusk of winter, she was forced to leave the area. The game had moved on, she had to follow or starve. Yet even to this day she seeks her mate, even though all hope is lost she will never stop looking.
2) But then disaster struck once again. The mountain itself collapsed, scattering the fragile pack apart. This time she lost everything, family, friends, her pups and her mate.
Broken somewhere deep down in her soul and unable to grieve for her loss, she has inevitably changed. Gone is the sassy, confident Dame, and in her place is a female who has seen and done far too much. Somber and not prone to talking, she moves round the pack more like a ghost than a living dog. She is still the impressive Dame with all her skills and experience, but without the humour she is a far more dangerous weapon. Though fully under control, she is simply not someone you would ever want to cross, or have set on your tail by the Queen.

Bouncy and energetic she is a tome-boy through and through. She loves playing rough games with her brother and father and 'uncle' Ryuu. As she grows she never develops a hankering for female things, instead she remains as fun and carefree as she had been when younger, enjoying the bachelor life just as much as her father and uncle. Of course being a girl herself she doesn't chat up the ladies, but turns her charms on unsuspecting males, though she is not the easy type and usually looks for friendship over romance. But if any male does manage to catch her deeper interest as more than just a 'buddy', she would always bring them home to papa and uncle to get their opinion on the hopeful suitor. If the lucky male passes muster, he still has his work cut out as she never looses her boyish, rough and tumble nature, and he will have to match up to her, otherwise she simply couldn't respect him. However, if she ever did wish to start a family of her own, she may very well expect the male to be the 'wife' in the relationship.
Fun Fact: She secretly believes that when she gets dusty, its the actual colour of her fur changing, like mud drying out in the sun, and she has to bathe to make her fur go dark again, just as adding water turns sand back into mud.
Future Plans
Lots of plot with her family for sure. I'd love her adult self to find a male who would let her wear the pants in their relationship, but she would have tons of guy-friends first. Also to bring home a male as an adolescent that her father and uncle disprove of and have her realise that pretty looks and flattery do not a happy ending make.

A smaller female, she is insanely fast on her paws, able to outrun most other wild dogs. This is where she got her name. Unfortunately, she is also as nervy as she is fast, and she tends to stick to the edge of the pack both physically, and emotionally. Desperate for a mentor to teach her more about the ways of the world, she is a very young dog struggling to find her way. Her speed, coupled with good senses, makes her an ideal scout and she excels at the job though it isn't really helping her become any more social, it is aiding her in slowly gaining confidence in her own skills and abilities.

Originally, she was born in a small litter to an older WD female and her mate. Rogues by choice, the pair had tried to live their lives away from their original pack. Not that Kimi knows much about that past life. But shortly after she grew to adolescent, her parents passed away and her siblings moved on, finding new homes for themselves. Alone and too inexperienced to survive, she seeks out a pack where she might find safety and learn how to function in a normal society. She fears being alone, but is too nervous of strangers to really make friends easily.
