Though… they were taken down by ice and fairy types rather easily and those weren’t particularly menacing in anyway. At least not the fairy-types he’d seen. They were usually small and cute looking and about as threatening looking as cotton candy. He couldn’t really say much regarding ice-types, he’d seen very few of those in his life time. Not that he was sure he really wanted too; they often had a chill about them that made it next to impossible to stay in vicinity of them. His hoodie was only so durable against the cold as their visit to Snowpoint had proven. It sent a shiver down his spine just to think about it.

Noel shook the idea of cold and chill out of his mind. It was a nice day and hopefully they wouldn’t have to explore any more snow riddled areas. Though it was possible that they might… it would probably do him some good to check over map that he’d been given and see if that was going to be the case at some point. Unfolding the pamphlet, he looked over the listed locations for the regions he’d yet to go to. It looked like there was still Kanto and Hoenn to visit and… Alola? Huh, he’d never quite heard of that region before… -

He pulled out his pokedex to see if it could give him any information on the new region. Luckily there seemed to be some tidbits of information available for him to read over. It was apparently an island region out in the sea; composed of four different islands (or was it five, he had to do some counting) and apparently had nice weather all around. It sounded like an island paradise and that sounded like a vacation. He was looking forward to visiting upon reading about it.

The other regions areas sounded all right as well, if their names were anything to judge by. Of course, they could’ve been misleading and they could’ve hidden some frozen wastelands but that was still something he’d have to discover upon travelling there. With that in mind, he tucked away the map and glanced down as Algernon tugged on his pant leg, the trio of pokemon presenting the young man with another egg that they’d located. They’d travelled close to the mouth of a cave at this point, which had two statues of dragon looking pokemon guarding it. He stared at them a moment before shaking his head, retrieving the egg from his pokemon and sending it off. With that done the rider Pidgeot appeared once more to carry them off to the next region.

Nanaska made sure not to jump while flipping and trying to actually land after all that. She had learned her lesson the hard way, and she actually got out of it pretty easily. She really should have gotten hurt a lot worse than she had, it helped that she fell in the water and not onto the unforgiving ground. That would have really sucked, and she wasn't confident that she would have come out of that without a serious injury. The Pigeotto landed gently, looking at her and motioning her to get off. It seemed that the pokemon did everything in its power to prevent her from getting off to early. Not that she blamed it, she had caused to poor thing to worry after all. After thanking it, it flew off and she moved towards the pokemon center. Her wrist was still bugging her so she thought she'd get some medical help since she was already here. With that in mind, she looked around for the egg on the way to the center before she walked inside.
Nanaska looked around once inside, and moved towards the front of the room. Once at the front desk, she then moved to ask if she could get her pokemon all healed up as well as get her wrist checked. After handing over her pokemon, she was taken into a room as nurse joy walked over. She did a few tests with her wrist, and determined that it wasn't broken or anything just sprained. so she wrapped her wrist up, before giving her something a light splint to put on her wrist to keep it in place. She needed to let it rest for about a week before it was fully healed. Nanaska thanked her, before getting up and walking out of the room. It was a relief to know that it wasn't anything serious, and so she went over to a table and sat down slowly. She then waited for her pokemon to get done healing up before she went back to searching for the eggs.
Nanaska decided to look over her sketches to pass time, there were quite a few and it was a good time to go through all of them while she was waiting. She felt nostalgic as she looked at each sketch, and even though most of them were actually pretty recent the memory of them was still something that she enjoyed remembering. It was actually pretty fun to try and find an area to sketch at without scaring away all of the pokemon that were around. She laughed a bit when she got caught one time, the pokemon weren't exactly mad at her. They did play some pranks on her for a bit, which was pretty annoying. She could laugh about it now of course. Her eyes moved upwards at the flashing light, which meant that her pokemon were all healed up and ready to go. She smiled, got up and moved over towards the front desk.
Nanaska smiled at the nurse there, thanking her as she took back her pokemon. She then placed their pokeballs on her belt, before walking back to her table. Once there, she began moving her sketches back into her bag before she moved towards the exit of the pokemon center. Once outside again, she released her pokemon and smiled "glad you're all healed up and ready to go, so lets go look for that egg now" she said, before turning around and looking for the egg. He pokemon nodded, and followed behind her. Leo made sure to walk by her side, occasionally nudging her injured hand. Nanaska smiled warmly at him, reassuring him that she was fine and that it was all being taken care up. It would heal given some times, she just had to be careful was all. This city could be challenging, but she wasn't going to give up. She was just getting started!
Nanaska was happy that things were going pretty well right now. Well other than the injury she got from her stupid stunt, but still overall it was going fantastically. She made sure to keep an eye out, looking to the other side every so often to make sure she didn't miss any details or anything. Her pokemon seemed to be in high spirits too which was a good thing. She smiled at that, pleased with the decision of letting her pokemon rest up at the pokemon center. If not for that then they might have been pretty dead by now. After all they had been to a lot of places by now, and it wasn't like looking for the eggs was easy, some were really hard to find, others not so much. Still where could this cities egg be hiding at? Pursing her lips, she looked around and to her surprise saw an egg just sitting there. She skipped over, whistling as she noticed the eggs design and smile. It was so pretty! Just like the other ones were, this one had a unique pattern. Oh man, she might die from artistic overload. With that, she put the egg away and called on pigeotto to help her to the next town.
As the flight dragged on, Zero felt he might’ve actually exaggerated how close the Lake of Rage was to Blackthorn. It wasn’t terribly far away or anything, in fact it was roughly the same distance away as any one town with an egg was from another, but it felt like the travel stretched on well past what he thought it’d be. When he finally reached his destination, he’d almost been tempted to lie back on the Charizard and rest.

It would be better, after all, for him to just find a small trend and follow it rather than go diving into a crowd, looking to snatch up one of the many eggs he found. It all culminated in a spot he noticed a fair chunk of the trainers stopped and found one of the many ovoids, dispersing just in time for another person to make their way towards it.
