Ea was just about to comment on Lights' weapon. 'Also where could she get some of that very pretty metal. Just how much was that worth? She could get a very pretty penny for it,' the little thieving voice in her head squeaked at her. But! Then this conversation started and she was more than happy to see the outcome.

So she got comfortable on her spot and looked at Light to see just how he was going to explain Ixyan's innocent question.

Ragna leaned against a wall to occupy his time. He had one arm folded over the other. Simultaneously, he was observing the group that were conversing with one another. "Shiver-thingy?" Light's version of saying 'shiver-thingy' was stutter-y. He seemed flustered with that simple question. Ragna could understand Ixyam's position because he sort of overheard the conversation he shared with Ea. Come to find out, Ixyam was a nobody that had yet to learn the concept of emotions. It was either affection or nervousness. But after seeing his reaction, he wanted to see how Light would answer the question.

Ixyam blinked and waited for a response, tilting his head a little.

Light looked around the classroom. He felt a little pressured. He squinted at Ixyam with a frown. Of all the places to bring something like that up. I'm seriously contemplating hitting him...
Light rubbed the back of his head. "J-j-just-just wait until later... I'll-," Light sighed and dropped his head. "I'll explain it later..."

Ixyam furrowed his brow with a frown. "For you, later always equals never. Can't I get a straight answer?"

" I have a class, Yami." His words slipped and he could see Ixyam's fuse shorten rapidly at the mention of his name. "However, I'm surprised the school's security grid hasn't touched you..."

Ixyam pushed back his spiky bangs. "I'm capable of rewriting stuff. Something you've known since we met..."
He turned around and walked towards the wall to lean on it.

Relieved, Erin sighed. "I really thought there was going to be a 'tussle', as the Americans say..."

Ea was sure the entire room was disappointed, or maybe it was just her. She sighed at the lack of awkward confessions. Ea missed out on some good ammunition to tease. She quietly despaired at her nonexistent entertainment as she watched Ixyam lean against the wall.

Leaning on the wall, he stared daggers at Light.

Light covered one eye with his free hand, feeling Ixyam's hard pressed stare. "Alright, alright... Are you guys really intrigued by this?" He said, looking at his students.

Erin raised a hand. "I could care less, actually."

"Yeah, well. No one really asked ya." Ixyam said, continuing to stare at Light until he would cave.

Light let his sword disappear and sighed. "Well... I guess there's nothing to it, then. Did it feel positive or negative?"

Ixyam jumped. He was expecting it to take a little longer. "Well, I-I just helped her up and-"

Light threw his hands up and walked away. He had already figured out what was happening with just the mention of a girl. "I'm done. Just-just done..." He stammered and let his voice crack.

Ixyam seemed confused and looked around with a frown. "I-is it a bad thing?"

Something inside of him dropped and told him to check the infirmary. A bit unnerved, he slipped out of the classroom when no one was paying heed to him.

Ixyam watched as Light sat in the corner of his classroom. He seemed to be sprouting fungi. "Hey! No sprouting mushrooms!" (1-up if you get the reference!)

Lawrence raised an eyebrow at the teacher growing fungus out of himself. "Please tell me he's not a bloody plant person. I'm still trying to wrap my head around dragon people," he said pinching the area between his eyebrows. He has seen a wide variety of strangeness recently.

He waved one hand. "N~ope. Not really unless he's nervous or just plain annoyed in a bad way. Come to think of it, right about now is when he'd usually throw me into a headlock or a spladle..."

Light's eye twitched. "I wasn't thinking about it until now..."

He put both hands up and one half of his face turned purple. "Eheheh, n-no hard feelings, right? Guys, anyone wanna help a bro out here?"

Light dropped his head so his eyes were covered in shade and he seemed to radiate a foul aura. He placed a hand on Ixyam's jacket.

Ixyam really began shuddering and cringing. "R-really, y-you can s-stop now..."
He dropped to his knees in fright.

"Gotcha..." Light smiled and stepped backwards.
He spun around and clapped his hands. "Alright, no more goofing off. Grab a partner and a kendo shinai and start drilling basic overhead technique."
