Got back from Larping last night I ache all over and am sun burnt but it was still worth it.

Sorry for being a day late lets get started:

The day has finally arrived. Today you become an official member of the Reformed Monster Society. A grand society devoted to the defense and equality of all non-humanoids. After about thirty minutes of waiting you are ushered into a large circular room with no roof by an imp. In front of you are the three beings in charge of the RMS. The first is Albernek a large beholder with flashy rings on his eye-stalks, the second is Vendric a giant sporting a large ornate great-sword and finally is a massive two headed Linnorm. Alkalabeth, first and oldest member of the society. The imp tells you it is traditional to introduce yourself first.

Sorry for being a day late lets get started:

The day has finally arrived. Today you become an official member of the Reformed Monster Society. A grand society devoted to the defense and equality of all non-humanoids. Alkalabeth, first and oldest member of the society. The imp tells you it is traditional to introduce yourself first.

And if anyone is curious, Dancer's don't talk.)

Syn looked at the imp, then at his fellow novices, and finally at the three before him. As a dancer, he couldn't talk and dancer's introductions, conversations in general, are normally more elaborate and lengthy than the sound that passes form one's lips. Thinking these three were like every other individual, he believed they wouldn't understand his language.

Balancing effortlessly on one leg Syn bowed to the three, before cartwheeling over to a wall; where he lightly marked out his on the stone. Finally, tuning to face them again and returning to his bow.

Zelekhut's face was impassive at the display and stepped forward after he had read the name on the wall. The Zelekhut looked like what someone had imagined if a construct, centaur and angel had collided. Body of a centaur, metal of a construct and the beauty of an angel, the silver and gold used in the construction causing most of the splendor.

"This one is a Zelekhut, an inevitable, without a target to hunt and as such without a purpose currently. This one hopes to fulfill some use until it the time comes that this one can return to Hamaliel to bring justice to the ones who run from it" Said Zelekhut striking a hoof on the floor causing small sparks.

Petra looked around at the other monsters surrounding her as they patiently waited. She blushed a bit as she felt a little out of place. They were all just so much more, well... monstrous-looking than her. She knew she could always take her natural form to blend in a little better, but she'd sworn to herself she would never take that body again unless she was absolutely forced to. She would just have to hope they did not think her weak because of her appearance. Her strength never lay in her form anyways, but rather in her eyes.

Finally the moment came and an imp appeared before them and escorted them into a large, roofless room. Before her waited a Linnorm, a giant and a beholder. They were to be her new bosses. The imp then spoke up, telling them it was customary for them to introduce themselves first, a moment Petra was dreading. She waited for most of the other monsters to introduce themselves before stepping forward to give her introduction.

She stepped ut from behind a baby Tarrasque, looking for all the world to be just a teenage girl. She stood a few inches over five feet tall with a thin build and she had long brown hair that trailed down her back to a point. She had serious-looking, heavy-lidded eyes with bright red irises. The only hint to the monster that lay within was the tip of a lizard tail that stuck out from underneath her floor-length dress. The girl spoke very slowly and deliberately as if she had to think over each word before she spoke it. "I...am...Petra... It...is...a pleasure...to...meet you...all."

Bane trundled through the open doors, dropping to the floor in front of the three, crossing his huge, clawed paws under his jaw, resting as he was before they had come in. He shook himself, silver scales rattling like chain links as they slashed against each other as the others introduced themselves before him. Of course it didn't really matter to him, it was more along the lines of trying to rouse himself enough to take his turn introducing himself to the three in front of them. A loud, gravelly rumble started down in his throat, like a small landslide just started in the middle of the room. "Bane." Was all he said, introducing himself simply to the monsters around him.

"See this is why we should have gotten the universal translators. Every time we get a member who cant speak we have to buff out scratches." Albernek turned to the other two.

"Well excuse me if its not in the budget and why should you care it only takes about six seconds to magic back to normal." Vendric replied and the two began arguing and continued until Alkalabeth swung his heads upside of theirs.

"Would both of you please silence yourselves we have guests." Alkalabeth snorted before his twin heads turned to the group. "Now you have been allowed into the society but before it is official you must take an oath. If any of you want to back out now this is your last chance."

Petra looked around at the other monsters in the rooms again. She wondered what their reasons were for being here, what experiences had led them to this point? One thing was clear. There was no way she was backing out now.

Petra once again steps forward and slow speaks with fierce determination "I...am ready...for...the oath"  

[Mongooseh]

Remaining stoic in the face of an absurd question Zelekhut failed to reveal any emotion.

"This one would not be here if this one was not ready to take an oath. This one approves of oaths as oaths are a lawful code to abide by which please the great one known as Hamaliel." Stated Zelekhut.  

[Winter Wondork]

Bane snorted, lifting himself from the lazy, slumped posture he had maintained on the floor. "And what? Spend our days hiding away here? I don't know about the others but I'm here for a reason. Even the most accepting of people have trouble living within a mile of a God Killer. I'm here because it's all I can do without turning into the stereotypical destroyer that's expected of me. Or at least I can become that and put it in the right direction."

Syn didn't understand the statement, if they were there... the thought had already passed hundreds of other augments against the Society. The others had their reasons for their stance, he also had his.

A sigh left his nose as he lowered his head, in agreement with the others. He wasn't going anywhere.

"I like their spirit. They will make great members." Vendric said to the other two society heads.

"Indeed" Albernek responded.

"Good i enjoy when things work out well." Alkalabeth cleared his throats before speeking. "Repeat after me this sacred oath."

Today i choose under no compulsion to join this society
To protect those who cannot protect themselves
To be all good in the world
To fight all evil in the world
Till my flesh is feasted upon by time
Till my bones are turned to dust
I will hold true to this sacred vow

Zelekhut repeated it but with his own variation,
