Ash smiled as he watched her, fully able to see the small and invisible tendrils of energy that moved from her into Desha as she spoke to him. He could see that energy actually reinforcing hope within Desha and calming his sobs until he was quietly resting his head in her lap with just the occasional shiver or sniffle. When she was finished speaking and that energy of hers returned to her, Ash simply leaned over and placed a tender kiss to her temple to show her how proud of her he was.

Desha finally raised his head and wiped at his face, "I'm sorry Rebecca... I shouldn't have lost hope like that... You're right, if anyone can save him it will be Michael," he said softly and took in a deep breath that only shook slightly as his mind started to work again.

Her words had shaken something lose in his mind that had him pausing as he looked up at her, ignoring Ash for the moment, a thinking look on his face, "There might be something else that can help him... Someone, actually... But we will have to wait for Cedric to come back to find her... She's become very reclusive and will only speak to dragons now..." he said softly as he thought it over.

He finally broke off and looked up at Rebecca again, this time with a hint of a smile, "Lucifer was a fool... Like Eric, he could not see your true talents and abilities, only what he wished to use for his own gain... His loss now, is our gain in having your sweet spirit with us now. Thank you, Rebecca," he said to her softly.

Ash tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear, "Do you wish me to stay?" he asked her softly, showing that he held full confidence in her to leave since she didn't need him, but that he did want to stay simply to offer his support.

Desha took one of her hands into both of his, "We will get you free of him, Rebecca. Until then, we are more than happy to have you with us. You are not limited to the island. You can go to the dragon's islands, to the demon realm, and even to the elven realm. Once we save Dancer and see to your Cedric, we can arrange for that, if you wish," he told her softly, trying to show her that she wasn't trapped here, just limited in a few ways.

Ash hugged her back with pleasure then listened to Desha, fully agreeing with him about it all, "Tamlin's training here is to learn how to interact with other races. I will be working with him on his abilities later, yes, but that is his primary assignment here. I'm here as his trainer and as envoy from Lareth, so I am here officially to help where I can. So I have the time to stay with you right now. Tamlin needs to learn how to navigate places like this on his own with confidence. He won't get that if I'm holding his hand for it," he told her softly, knowing she'd see the humor in his last statement.

"Now tell me what has happened with your mind more clear. I understand Dancer was taken and that your uncles have gone to get him with Cedric and one other. What else can you tell me?" he continued with the matter at hand, knowing she was calm enough to give him a more clear explanation now.

Desha took over from there, making sure to keep holding Rebecca's hand, "They're slavers. Being run by some kind of person with the ability to manipulate shadows of despair and terror. I saw through Michael as one of those shadows moved over Dancer and it terrified my son to the point that he could only huddle in a corner and shake. I'm grateful that Andy is still in contact with me. The... being... is some kind of necromancer and dragon. They're trying to get to Dancer but it's not easy," he explained, letting Rebecca know what was going on as well.

Ash gave a small nod and considered his possible actions before looking at Rebecca, "Do you think I would more help or hindrance if I went to them?" he asked her softly, truly asking for her opinion on it. He knew she knew enough about tactics to understand what he was asking and be able to respond honestly about it.

Desha didn't tell them what he was doing as he gave Andy what he would need to fight, he simply laid his head back in Rebecca's lap as they waited and took comfort in her presence and touch.

Ash gave her a nod, "Then I will stay here and wait with you. I know the one Desha spoke of and he's right. She won't talk to anyone but another dragon. She's been away from other races too long by now to be comfortable with them. She's very sweet natured and is a very powerful healer in her own right. If he says she can heal Dancer then I trust his judgement of her skills. I only hope Cedric will be willing to get her," he said softly, doing his best not to talk about Rebecca and his feelings for her.

He'd told Lareth the truth. He would see to his duty to his king. He'd never even considered giving his heart to another.

But he was considering it now. And he had to work very hard to remind himself that his duty and loyalty to his king came first, as it always had.

Desha moved over to them in a rush, his eyes all for Dancer and the condition he was in. He could feel that Andy was alright and would be returning soon, so he focused on what he had to for now.

"Rebecca, as soon as Cedric gets here, tell him to go to the dragon islands. He'll be looking for the one almost entirely made up of crystals. Sasha will be the only dragon there. We need her. Dancer is beyond my skills," he said honestly and looked up at Michael, "Keep in physical contact with him, Michael. When Cedric gets here, you may have to go plead our case with Sasha. She doesn't do alot with other races anymore. It'll be up to Cedric. For now, just sit and hold him. Your bond with him was damaged somehow but will get stronger the longer you're in contact with him," he told him then directed him to sit down by the stable where the scents were nothing more than clean horses, fresh straw, and the fresh breeze that moved through.

Only then did he see to the vampire's injuries despite the fact that they were only simple cuts and scrapes. HeirO had burns but they were easily healed with a small amount of healing energy.

Meanwhile, Ash simply stood to one side without saying anything. He knew he didn't need to. Rebecca could stand on her own and would come to him only if she wanted to do so. So he did his best to maintain the peace with her and her Sire by keeping himself in the background for now.

Michael looked at his love in his arms understanding what to do, he hate that Cedric was there only hope right now but if it ment helping Dancer he would do anything for him. Rebecca softly stood removing the long jacket she had on and put it over Dancer, as Michael went to go sit and hold Dancer, with it being dark and cold, she let some of her power out so her eys changed as she set a cotroled black fire by Michael and Dancer to keep Dancer warm.

Valick started to step back from the group to leave inside, Rebecca turned to him "and where do you think you are going? Now Dancer is safe we need to have a little talk before Cedric gets back. Come here" Rebecca was a bit cold and strong but she was not happy with him and michael but cause michael was busy Valick will have to do. Valick froze and looked at her with worried eyes, he sighs and walks over to her. Rebecca folds her arms over her chest and glares at him "Now explain to me what really happened after I was taken by Lucifer, what did you guys do to Cedric?"

Valick looks at the ground she could feel his regret and knew if he opened it would help heal his soul more. "After you were taken..Eric..well you know he's Lucifers little pet. He ordered me and Michael to capture Cedric and you know what happens when you say no to him so we went after him, it took years but we captured him and once we did Eric tourted him, had me do it and had Michael do it. When we got you back Eric made sure Cedric was never found by you.." Valick says lightly as he tells the whole truth and Rebecca knew he was this time. Rebecca sighs as she runs a hand through her hair then looks at him and smiles. "I forgive you, both of you. Valick most of the things you have done was cause of orders from Eric, he brought you down a dark road. He is not here any more and you are free of him, you are free to do what you want now and be happy, no more orders Valick just live your life now."

Valick looked at her surprised when she said that and he then smiled as it was what he needed to hear, he gave her a big hug and whispered thank you too her. Rebecca smiles hugging him back noding "your welcome Valick, now go get some rest your worn out." She says softly, he nods letting her go and heads inside. She smiles and sighs watching him leave "now to work things out with Cedric, this going to be hard cause he is very stubborn." Rebecca softly.

Rebecca gave him a reasurring smile as she understand why hhe told her this, she puts a soft hand on top of his. "I know and thanks to Dancer helping me out I have been less confused lately. I would love to spend some time with you Ash and I would be happy to cook you a wonderful meal again." She says giving him her charming smile, she was happy that he was back. She looks over at Michael and Dancer "I hope he will be alright" She says softly.

Michael smiled a little hearing his love, Michael leaned his head down to put lightly on Dancers forehead Its really me my handsome man, just open yours and look into mine and you will see its really me" michael says softly back to him. He dosent look at Desha as he speaks to him "Yes he's just spoke to me" He says softly and his hand softly goes and rubs Dancers cheek as Michael puts a soft kiss on his lips.

Rebecca smiles seeing how in love Michael was "they are so cute together, never thought I would see Michael like this but I am very happy for him. I look forward to the day when someone looks at me like that and can just know from there touch, the look in there eyes that they are the one for you" Rebecca says warmly as she gets all warm inside from the thought of it.
