Fawks swings at the oncoming armadillo but the putty covering him slows his swing, giving the creature enough time to duck out of the way. He hears an angry voice in his head, "You're all bad people!" before a wave of guilt washes over the goliath, followed by the creature collapsing and its gem crumbling.

However guilt does not deter a goliath, and he takes a swing at the next closest armadillo. It too avoids the attack, shouting with a mixture of sadness and anger in his mind, "You said we could be friends! You liar!" This time the wave of guilt is accompanied by a wave of pain as the fighter's mind is shaken by some mental death throes. Another carbuncle down, another ruby turned to dust.

((Fawks takes 4 psychic damage. you still have a move and minor action if you want to try to escape the grab, otherwise just give me your save vs. weakened.
Once Fawks is done, Sylvanis can go. map))

Sylvanis stands around a bit too long for the DM's liking after breaking free of the enemy's putty grasp, so the DM has him shout some sort of inspiring words to the well minion'd Fawks before passing initiative ((surge +6 goliath man)).

Speaking of putty foes, the faux Fawks turns away from his better half to stare down the warforged, "Fawks smash!" he reiterates, two goliath-looking arms weilding a maul reminiscent of Fawks' own form out of the white mass and swing down on Van, but apparently the creature has stretched itself too thin, so to speak, and can't land the blow. With a disgruntled face it seems to readjust itself internally. It sounds kinda gross too.

The other clay soldier finally manages to take on a form other than its own, growing a face similar to the warforged in its grasp but with a wide smile instead of the normal puppety mouth plate he actually has. "Hello!" it declares in a tone of voice almost as stupid sounding as the fallen carbuncles before forming a greatspear of its own and thrusting it down on Van. Thorned vines form out of the putty as well wrapping and lashing the warforged.

During all this, the last armadillo looks around at each of you in turn, seeming a bit antsy. Finally, you all hear ring in your heads a cry of anger and outrage, "I thought you were nice, I thought you were different! But you're just like everyone else, all you want to do is kill the monsters and steal their treasure! Well you won't get mine!" Van Fawks and Sylvanis feel a wave of sorrow as the creature falls to the ground and its gem crumbles. Sylvanis is so wracked it actually pains him, such a sensitive guy.
