Good afternoon everyone. I'm currently at a friend's house using one of her laptops. Thus being said, there will be no fancy post formatting going on like I have been doing while I'm here. The fancy appearance will be back once I'm at my own place on my own computer, since it's easier to do everything format wise on my desktop computer than on a laptop, especially a laptop I'm unfamiliar with.

My friend Melissa's cat Ninja is amusing to watch. Right now she's trying to get the remaining melted juice from the Otter Pops from inside the plastic wrapping. She's so intent trying to figure out how to get to it... and possibly getting a bit frustrated when she's not able to get anything.

Good evening everyone. :D
So last night and tonight my parents and I watched "The Blind Banker" and "The Great Game," the last two episodes of Season 1 of Sherlock. Most of their reactions for things are fairly typical and expected, so there's not much to say there.
This evening during dinner Mom was trying to remember Benedict's last name:
Mom: "So what's the guy's name again? Cumberbuns..." Me: *cracking up laughing* Mom: "Cumberbutch." Me: "Cumberbatch." Mom: "Oh. *beat* Cumberbuns. *chuckles* Guess that can be your nickname for him."
Of course when she said this I thought of the pilot episode of Sherlock and this particular scene:

After each episode, I keep asking my parents what they think of Sherlock. After we finished watching the first season of Sherlock, my Mom immediately said: "I think you've made us addicted to this show." Although Dad didn't vocalize, I think his amused laugh showed that he agreed with the statement. My Mom was even starting to ask me when the next episodes were coming and if we would be able to watch them. *laughs*

Found this animated gif during my searching for the right animated gifs that fitted with my little story. :) Benedict looks so darn adorable.

Since I've watched the episodes of Sherlock again several times, I've realized how many things I didn't pick up on from "The Great Game." Finally figured out where the whole John & Jam and the Sherlock & Milk inside jokes came from. >.<And I've come to love Mycroft even more so as I keep watching the episodes over and over again. Not that I didn't like him before. It's just he's gaining my attention more than I had given before. *chuckles* Makes me wonder why he canceled his root canal dentist appointment though. It seemed to really bother him... and I'm sure it makes it hard to concentrate on the more important things he likes to keep an eye on. Like Sherlock and John.

I hear that we're going to be seeing a lot more of Mycroft in the upcoming season of Sherlock. I'm glad to hear that. I love seeing the love-hate relationship between Sherlock and his brother. And how Mycroft continues to tease John about what his relationship is with his brother. *laughs*
