Jaquel had also signed the card and had walked off while she was looking in the bag. He had to try and keep up his reputation of being somewhat mysterious when he could after all. Besides, girls usually loved that sort of thing.

Ariae deadpanned at the sight of Jaquel's signature. It was the same as it was all those years ago. The same name, same handwriting, and a slightly stronger libido than when she last saw him. "It...it can't be..." she mumbled, desperately hoping that this was some sick coincidence.

In the mean time, Jaquel was busy having other people get busy on preparing a nice dinner and giving his room a more romantic feel. Even if he was mostly in it for the sex. He could still try and make her an 'official' member of his harem.

Ariae was selling the rest of her wares by now, and had gone on home to get herself dressed in some more attractive and form-fitting attire. If this sex-crazed fiend was actually the one who caused her life to spiral into the mess it was currently in, she couldn't stand it if she didn't retaliate. Ariae decided to bring a blade and a small bottle of a type of poison she learned how to make in her days as a healer for the Angelic Military. It was highly effective against those with demonic blood, and it could at least injur him(she hoped). For a moment, she pondered over this, only to come up with an even better idea. If this was the shameless b*****d who hurt her so long ago, why shouldn't she hurt him back in a way he might never recover from? He has another daughter, doesn't he? Ariae couldn't help but wonder what would happen if she somehow got the poison into Milly's system. Oh, how sweet revenge could be~

((*rubs chin* Now how to bring Jaq back to reality...? Godly interference? Or eventual realization through familiarity?))
Of course, Ariae still had hold over his daughter, so not all preparations were quite so...tame. He always had his powers should force be needed, but Ariae wasn't the only one who could play the poison card. It wouldn't be long now until Ariae would show up....

{I was thinking maybe either Jaquel putting two and two together from familiarity or perhaps having some soldiers from the Angel world coming to execute her for numerous acts of sin and treason - leading them to either attack her while he's lurking nearby or to ask for her whereabouts and blatantly state them while offering Jaq a hansome reward for his assistance.}
Ariae was now on her way to Jaquel's fancy mansion, having her small blade and poisons hidden away carefully - just in case anything unwarranted happened before their 'transaction' was complete.

"I hope you don't mind, I thought a bit of dinner would be in order. I like to try and do things right, set the mood if you will." Jaquel said with a smile as he led Ariae to his dining room, which was of course far larger than it needed to be.

Ariae shrugged slightly. "I don't mind, thank you." she said, trying to keep at least somewhat polite while she kept an eye out for any sudden movements from Jaquel. Somehow, it felt horribly odd that someone would set up a romantic dinner just to 'set the mood' for someone they were just paying to bang.

While Jaquel personally poured the wine for the both of them, he actually debated whether or not he should poison her as planned and bargain for the contract. Yes, it was his daughter, but somehow he just wanted to be with the woman. It just felt so right for some reason. She'd still be in town, he could get her later when she actually tried something. Deciding against the poison, he simply turned back with a smile as he handed her her glass before having a pleasant meal followed by the main event.

Ariae was horribly surprised when it turned out that he hadn't somehow tampered with her food or wine. She didn't show it, but somehow she expected him to hurt her again - to do what he always seemed to in order to get what he wanted. Still, Ariae clearly had no complaints on the matter.

"Once again, I'm truly sorry what happened so long ago. Your wings surely made your beauty all the more radiant." Jaquel said softly once they got in bed.

Ariae gave a glum chuckle before she said, "Thank you, but your apologies aren't necessary. You aren't one who helped with the deed, now are you?" Her words were gentle, her eyes holding that calm look of pain and regret, and that smile that lit up her soft pink lips now seemed somewhat forced. Somehow, if by some strange chance he did reccognise her, Ariae hoped to at least plant a small seed of doubt or regret in him.

"I'm sure those hags were only jealous. No one ever could quite compare..." Though he lay next to her, his eyes seemed dim as he gazed off at some distant point while he ran a gentle hand down the scars on her back. He hadn't noticed it before, but there was a familiar and soothing scent to her. Slowly he spread one wing and wrapped it around Ariae, just as he had once upon a time to calm her wild nerves.

"That doesn't stop me from wanting them to suffer forever more." she muttured faintly, almost unheard as she spoke these words of her lingering hatred. Ariae bit her bottom lip, growing ever so tense as Jaquel touched her scars - her momentos of past betrayals. Her mind raced about quickly, blanking out within mere secconds after he wrapped his wing about her. She couldn't comprehend why he was being this gentle towards her, not anymore at least. Didn't he hate her? Didn't he just want sex and nothing more?

As his mind grew jumbled, Jaquel seemed to slip into into a half-concsious daze as he hugged Ariae close. "Ariae, please don't leave me again...." he muttered, the angel trying to break through the curse that had taken over so long ago.
((Going to bed now.))
